  1. I was responding in humor, good God - what is your point now for jumping in? You should be penalized for being third man in ...... This was a great example of when the Internet goes wrong....stuff getting taken out of context, which I did (not knowing SDS was being humorous). And I was simply responding that humor is not above me. So thanks for piling on .... not.
  2. actually it would have worked just fine.
  3. love the Spinal Tap reference ! sorry, I missed the "humor". Our exchange went way further than it should have. And your "apology" is more crappy condescension.
  4. I already read your post - a couple times. I don't see any facts or evidence to support your opinion, and I'm not going to get into a pissing match asking you to explain your opinion. If he turns out to be better than Claiborne, that's great for the Bills. BTW, I don't care if you're an Administrator or how many posts you have written - there is no reason whatsoever to be condescending and sarcastic. I can read just fine, and I don't appreciate the tone.
  5. Ummm.....OK then didn't see anything in your opinion that was factual or evidenced-based, that's why I asked for something more conclusive. But if you want to throw it out there, we'll see....
  6. wow...strong statement - how can you back it up ?
  7. great pick, another SEC player....4.37 40 time, physical player, LSU coach Les Miles raved about him
  8. Levitre is NOT a fallback option at LT.....that much was proven last year.
  9. Call me crazy, and please don't think I am a smartass, but how can you offer an opinion on Glenn (pro or con) if you admittedly never watched him play? I mean, reading reports on someone only gives a partial picture on that player. I live in GA, watch all UGA games, and can attest to Glenn's huge upside; a very athletic & powerful OL who is very coachable. Not sure if he merits the 10th pick but he will do well in the NFL.
  10. if it hasnt already been posted (sorry, I am at the gym....), how cool would it be to see MW in T Peg's suite at FNC ?
  11. haha this definitely has my vote for the top 5 funniest comments on this thread ...
  12. I'm thinking they need to play another card - have Bruce Smith, Jimbo, Talley, etc. contact Mario directly to put the full court press on.....they need any intangible card to play. If the Bills put up the most money do they have the stones to withdraw it if he leaves w/out signing? This whole thing is interfering with my work schedule .....
  13. Following this thread the entire day from Atlanta....this has got to be the most entertaining thread on a Bills or Sabres board that I have ever seen...great humor as well. Major props to all, now let's do this thing.....!!!
  14. I've seen the guy play - I agree
  15. On a parallel train of thought, I was blown away by the factoid that during this past regular season, the Pats did not beat a single team with a record greater than .500. - (cited by SportsCenter) I found this to be remarkable.....
  16. horribly bad "performance".... I don't get the gladiators and college marching band medley......this is exactly why the rest of the world hates us
  17. yeah, when are you looser's going to stop with this crap .....??.......
  18. Drew Haddad Paul Hubbard
  19. Biggest Surprises: 1. Talent/cohesion of OL before getting ravaged by injuries 2. Chandler as an emerging threat at TE (though he goes down with a gust of wind after the catch....) 3. Beating the Pats, seconded by the win over the Iggles 4. The 5-2 start, and being up 21-0 against the Pats..... 5. The D giving up a ton of yards but taking the ball away during the 5-2 run to mask its deficiencies 6. Spiller showing he "gets" the value of going N/S instead of E/W Biggest Disappointments: 1. Getting crushed by injuries, which blew up our season and exposed our lack of depth 2. Bills special teams - other than Justin Rogers/McFumbles PR capabilities, we regressed overall in ST though 3. Our defense's inability to stop the run and get off the field at crucial times w/ zero pass rush 4. Chan's inability to react in-game to changing conditions and make the necessary adjustments, plus his head-scratching play-calling....seems to out-think himself at times, i.e., throw deep when a short gain needed and vice-versa 5. Terrible personnel misjudgment by Edwards - i.e., using Kelsay & Spencer as OLBs, underusing Moats. Did not see a single solid game plan other than what he called against the Tebows 6. Brad Smith - waste of money so far, no wildcat, no throwing the rock ?? Who/What I Am Looking Forward to: 1. The potential for new ownership when RW passes 2. Looking forward to what Wannstache can do with some talent & getting injured guys back in the mix 3. Continued maturation of Spiller and to some dynamic play-calling with him & FredEx......this is not a one-back league anymore 4. looking forward to a healthy KW paired with Dareus in the middle of the D line 5. Hitting the jackpot in the draft/FA to address our areas of need - this is a hope but not a certainty with our draft track record
  20. like your creativity but Batten as a backup LDE? Seems rather undersized IMHO.....Moats coming off the edge as a pass rush DE is a possibility, though I'd rather see him as an OLB
  21. + 1 !!!!!! Everyone attacking Chan & defending SJ on this Board is completely misguided. Even the announcers are explicitly saying the Bills need defensive help......ergo, SJ's benching had nothing to do with the Bills giving up 49 freaking unanswered points.
  22. Fitz throwing off his back foot again ...... not good
