  1. +1000 !!! .... Someone with the stones to tell the truth, I like it. Last night's debacle in Seattle was another prime example. Can't have last year's SB winner go down in flames to an 0-3 team at home on Monday. Nothing to see hear, we blew the call, sorry....
  2. sorry, I think you are completely incorrect. Outreached and outclassed. sorry, I meant outcoached & outclassed
  3. mi IMHO, it's not a matter of the overall record after the first 4 games, but the manner & trends that make up the first 4 games; a perfectly scripted & executed home opener vs. Indy, followed by the overhyped tire fire vs. NE; then the near perfect beatdown of an overwhelmed Miami team, followed by another mental meltdown vs. the Giants. A very schizophrenic team so far which must get fixed.
  4. really? did the d-line have any sacks or any discernible pressure on Manning? his jersey was clean, my friend.
  5. I hate to say this, but it appears to me that Rex's d scheme neuters the front 4 by forcing the system onto to players, as opposed to leveraging the skills of the existing players. I agree with Stevewin; I have the same observation about the d line looking like they are standing up & not ready to get after the QB. It is very noticeable to me. And Kyle Williams @ DE ? So how did the Giants OL do it? one said "they just watched what the Patriots did". Note to Rex and staff: this is a copycat league. By a similar token, Tyrod appeared neutered by Roman's game plan in the 1st half.
  6. wondering if Crossman will be on the hot seat? Lots of dumb ST errors in play lately.
  7. Sadly I have to agree, there were 2 types of penalties which killed the Bills: the phantom, borderline calls which cost us 2 TDs (hold on Urbik, "chop block" on Richie), and the self-induced penalties after the play. The former were very concerning as they directly cost us points. I do wonder about the enforcement of certain penalties across league, as penalties overall are way up this year. But it does appear at least subliminally that the crews are now out for the Bills b/c of the loudmouth rep they have earned. If Coughlin coached his team to bait the Bills, he was on to something. I wonder what the tempo and outcome of the 1st half would have been if they had come out with play action passing like against Miami. Giants have the worst pass d in the NFL, and Roman tried to get cute. Doesn't make sense.
  8. and on that play Felton was WIDE open in the end zone, closest to TT
  9. here we go, another armchair physician
  10. and how do YOU know his recent difficulties are not truly the result of his bad hamstring as opposed to a supposed decline causing him to be unable to "make plays he no longer can" ? as per the bolded, relax a bit; I think you're missing the context of what he meant. He said in the same interview he did not want to hurt the team by not being 100% - what is wrong with that? He also said he feels good Karlos can pick up the slack, so I wouldn't rush to read his mind with what he is saying. If Rex says Shady wants to perform and do well for his new team, that's OK with me.
  11. I was going to question one or 2 posts of this thread for being overtly speculative, but I couldn't fit all of them in a single post. This subject has gotten borderline asinine. To wit: lots of armchair physicians who are questioning how long a soft tissue injury (calf) can take to heal. Note to self: you guys have zero knowledge of what the specific injury is and what the rehab protocol is. Stop pretending like you have a degree in sports medicine. others comparing a soft tissue injury to a bone injury ... ("next it will be an ankle or a hip"). Or that if it's "just a muscle injury", there's a "chance he'll play Sunday...".... Others questioning whether "he's ever healthy" and "he's done nothing since the first half of last year". Uh, having a competent QB has something to do with his production. Dude played through hip cartilage and rib injuries last year. Tough enough for you? Others suggesting he "has to work on becoming injury free", as if pro football is some kind of non-contact sport. here is one of my favorites: "With Sammy, I think it's a combination of physical changes and a need for better understanding of the protective equipment he needs" .... right., as if there is some magical padding to prevent that calf injury. So let me get this straight: physical changes as in what exactly ??? Another Comparing Sammy to Kolb; yeah, that's legit Just. Stop. Now...... some of you better not quit your day jobs
  12. Thank you Dr. Gavin for that clinical opinion.
  13. Hey, is anyone who lives the metro ATL thinking of heading up to the game? I'd be up for carpooling and meeting some new Bills fans. LMK.
  14. I am like THIS close to driving up to Nashville from ATL for the Titans game; would love to catch a roadie !
  15. what I have a greater concern about is Manuel's short pass inaccuracy ( almost like Steve Sax Syndrome), his inability to retain vision on plays as things break down around him, and his pocket presence.
  16. solid post per your first point; I think that is speculative....I believe hindsight is 20/20. for sure - but isn't the TT signing what a competent GM is supposed to do? Identify soon to be free agents who have developed somewhere else, and on someone else's dime? on the second word I "fixed", sorry Sage, it's not directed at you, I just happen to hate this nouveau chic catchphrase which is oh so 2015. It's like hearing fingers on a chalkboard for me. I know, I know - there are far more important things to nitpick about. Call me OCD when it comes to spelling & grammar. GO BILLS
  17. what is a "direhard" fan ??
  18. good point - with Boobie's feet seemingly stuck in wet cement, I wonder what the game plane is for another RB to get carries.....Thigpen? activate Cierre Wood? I doubt the latter, but we'll see according to the game plan
  19. Clearly, you should know better than to take a Solomon/Spiro comment to the bank as Gospel truth. Carlos is NOT a fullback ..... look who is clearly on the radar of the NY Football Giants: http://nypost.com/2015/10/01/the-giants-only-hope-of-stopping-bills-240-pound-steal-of-a-rb/
  20. thanks to all who responded to my OP..... I live on the north side of ATL so Nashville is a pretty easy drive. I will reach back out if I decide I can make the game.
  21. Thinking of driving up from the ATL for this tilt; is there a Bills Backers crew in Nashvegas, and will there be others like me coming in to take over their home turf?
  22. fixed for ya
  23. I don't think this will be an issue - from the same article I linked : And the way it’s worked out is great—to get a chance here with Rex Ryan. I’m grateful [GM] Doug Whaley took a chance on me, and [owners] Terry and Kim Pegula. They showed faith in me, and I appreciate it.
  24. • Richie Incognito is back, and he’s really good. Incognito, who didn’t play football for 22 months after the Dolphins’ bullying scandal of 2013, had his third straight very good day at left guard Sunday for the Buffalo Bills, back at Miami. Incognito helped keep Tyrod Taylor sack-free, and through three weeks he’s allowed only one quarterback hit and no sacks in 196 snaps—good for the top guard in the league as rated by Pro Football Focus. “It’s great,” the 32-year-old Incognito said from Miami. “I just kept working on my game and on me as a person, and the Bills gave me a chance. I’m grateful.” http://mmqb.si.com/mmqb/2015/09/28/nfl-week-3-monday-morning-qb
