  1. Yeah but when you already gave him $41 million guaranteed and another company would pay him more than the remainder of what you owe him, he can tell you to piss off he's not moving.
  2. I am so sick of this weak argument. Hilarious coming from someone who has posted almost 3000 times on a Bills site and averages 2 per day. "I don't care anymore", hahahahahaha.
  3. I'm not saying I agree with how Haynesworth has handled this situation, but It would be like signing Deion Sanders to a huge contract then one year later telling him you are changing defenses and need him to play the cover 2.
  4. I totally disagree with the notion that Maybin needs to play with reckless abandon and dig deep. I think the kid plays with all his heart and gives maximum effort. The issue is he isn't good enough and his determination doesn't make up for his lack of size to play the position. The young man goes all out which in turn makes it even more noticeable when he gets dominated. I actually think if he tried less, he would be less noticeable.
  5. What does Spiller have to do with my response to this?: "If the front office would draft the guys they are thinking about as 7th rounders and free agents in the first round, they'd look like geniuses!" Don't change the subject, follow along now. You're making my point, Thank you. The Director of Scouting doesn't choose the draft picks.
  6. Not sure Troup should be included in the "keep destroying the middle" part.
  7. You think Modrak makes the draft picks? Really?
  8. I don't see how you can say that when we've changed the front office staff that makes those decisions.
  9. Speaking only for myself, these numbers are irrelevant to the argument about why I prefer to lose. It's not about comparing success of draft picks historically by draft order/position. It's solely about the opinion that the Bills need to draft a QB and the opportunity to be in a position of ultimate power to make that decision. That's it. If you disagree with that opinion fine. I'm not arguing we can't hit on a hall of fame player at pick #6, but you're not getting Luck and most likely Mallet at that spot.
  10. I'm rooting for Frazier to fail. I didn't care for him snubbing at the Buffalo job.
  11. I may get bashed for saying this, but I think the success of Fitz has more to do with Gailey than it does Fitz himself. I am seeing some incredible play calling from a coach that knows what he is doing offensively. Not that I don't appreciate what Fitz is doing, but I think he is what he is because of Gailey.
  12. I don't disagree with anything you've said here. Of course "turning it around" is a very subjective term and leaves plenty of room for interpretation. I just know that we are 2-8 and while we've played at a very high level offensively, our defense is far from making us competitive in regards to winning record, playoff team, etc. There may also be an element of overachieving with this team with how competitive they have been. I fully acknowledge that Chan has us moving forward, no question. I guess I'm just not at the place where I believe Fitz is the answer, so in saying that, the focus of needing a franchise QB in what appears to be a real opportunity this year is still at the forefront of my mind. I appreciate your optimism. But we are 2-8 not a few plays here and there from 7-3. You say we're 2 OT field goals away from 5-5, but your forgetting we are with the exception of Kyle an entire defensive line away, 2 OLB, 1 MLB, a safety, and two corners from playing winning football. Did you watch the first half of today's game? I enjoyed the comeback, but it was just that, a comeback from a very disturbing first half against a team that is just as bad as we are defensively. Enjoy the win, but I wouldn't build my foundation for the future on it.
  13. Really the only way this win can help us is if most of the players on the team today are on it when a 2-8 team gets it turned around. I find it unlikely, therefore the win today may become even more irrelevant.
  14. Interesting debate going, except The Bean. He makes congress seem straight forward.
