  1. Using Ryan Leaf and Jamarcus Russell isn't telling the whole truth. Because there have been several instances where it has turned a franchise completely around. We all know who they are. So while I understand what you're saying, you have to pick one to get one. If you keep trying to get the 4th best QB in the draft and develop him, and that strategy is wrong then you're in the same spot anyway. You might as well just take the opportunity of getting the first one, and finally be able to choose which one you want out of all the choices. And you mock it in your post, but the reality is you might NOT ever get that chance again.
  2. So you think each personnel department assigns each player in the NFL with a draft compensation grade? And then tells Florio and Glazer what their grade was, and how stumped they are they didn't get a phone call?
  3. I never said anything about game balls. I said Poz had a nice game, and he did. 8 tackles and 5 assists. Seemed like he was moving better than he has in a while.
  4. Since your theory is "proven", just give me 10 examples where Nix has taken less than market value to make a move.
  5. I thought Poz had a good game, and I think it's because of Davis. So I disagree with the OP's assessment of the play of our LB's today.
  6. I thought Ponder looked very good. Strong arm, mobile, seemed to be in command of the offense, knows how to look off the defenders. I was really impressed. I think he'll quickly move up the rankings.
  7. For reasons totally unrelated to the Bills, I would be shocked if Luck entered the draft.
  8. He's the last thing this team needs. Why would you want another maybe?
  9. Exactly. Bandwagon is teams that are already winning and fans just choose to make the easy choice to root for that team. Therefor are considered untrue fans. What the heck does that have to do with Bills fans?
  10. You had me several years ago when I was still quite naive Well you said that we made such a pretty pair And that you would never leave But you gave away the things you loved and one of them was me I had some dreams, they were clouds in my coffee Clouds in my coffee, and... - Trent Edwards
  11. Did I mention I thought this was the perfect question?
  12. This post is absurd. We are predominantly still in the 4-3. Good god, know what you're talking about.
  13. I understand what your saying, but when you're the new head coach, you most certainly need regular season games to continue evaluating. This obviously won't be the case next off season or shouldn't be, but you can't expect him to know everything about every player and in what direction they need to go in one off season.
  14. You respond to yourself, hilarious. No doubt Stroud and our 5th would bring a 3rd round pick, wow!
  15. They just rolled the Dolphins and Moss didn't have a catch. Obviously there's an argument, for the attention he commands, but I suspect that they will be just as good without him. Watch how a great organization does it.
  16. I think he has to be. I out play your number one pick, he's constantly in trouble, I've done all the right things, now you're starting him? And it appears the only reason you were doing that was to showcase him? I had to sit for you to get rid of a player you didn't want? So me and the Rook had to sit here wondering what the hell is going on?
  17. Yes as he's been an integral part of developing QB's so far. It's one thing to be a Veteran, it's another to act like one.
  18. That's not the point. The point is you held onto Marshawn, let Bell walk, started him over Jackson, took away valuable carries from our rookie RB, all to piss everyone on the team off by attempting to showcase Marshawn to get a 4th round pick. Beyond dumb.
  19. I see this trade as a mistake but for a different rationale. They have been linked to trading Lynch all off season and into the season. They vehemently denied that they were trying, but as it turns out they were trying to move him. That's fine, I know you don't publicly state you're trying to trade a player. But here's my issue. You held onto Marshawn, knowing you were trying to trade him. Started him the last three games pissing off your number one back (Jackson), let Joique Bell walk out the door, so now we are at the very least not as good without him, all for a 4th round pick? That's what you did all that for? Baffling.
