  1. Don't let the truth get in the way of your realization that Bruschi is a douche canoe.
  2. Winning against conference opponents is preferred against winning against non-conference opponents. Got it. That doesn't mean that losing a game on purpose is going to help you, because you don't know if you're going to win another one later. If you lose on purpose you're taking yourself out of the potential tie-breaker situation.
  3. There is an online petition to save the beard. I for one believe it is a beard worth rallying behind. I encourage like-minded beard lovers to sign! http://readandreact.net/2010/12/21/update-save-ryan-fitzpatricks-beard-campaign-gaining-momentum/
  4. I found this while browsing the referenced website on the image. I got a good chuckle from it and thought I would share. http://i.imgur.com/Xstd4.jpg
  5. He looked OK for his first game, but I'm still not impressed. Definitely glad he's not on the Bills roster.
  6. He looks like a completely different player than he did in his first preseason game. He's come such a long way in a relatively short time. I hope he continues to improve and become a real impact player.
  7. The positives I'm taking so far this season: -Steve Johnson has shown flashes of brilliance. -Ryan Fitzpatrick is a legitimate quarterback. Ballsy and smart, great combination. -Kyle Williams is a beast. -Despite the grief he gets, Poz is a tackling machine and has been making plays closer to the LOS this year than in past years. -The development of Moats makes me think we have another legitimate linebacker on the roster. -Getting rid of Edwards and Greene is evidence to me that the front office is willing to improve the team by getting rid of dead weight. -David Nelson is going to be a good receiver for a while. -Roscoe was having his best year to date. -Bell is not the penalty prone machine he was last year, and is overall much better than last year.
  8. More than anything, I'm surprised Chan hasn't been able to find an active place for him in the offense. He hasn't had too many opportunities carrying the ball, but the offense has been running the ball sparingly. We HAVE seen the big play ability in the guy. He had runs of 20+ and 10+ (IRRC). He also had the return for a TD earlier this year. Before I get blasted, yes it is typical to expect more out of a top 10 pick, but to say we haven't seen anything and that he's a bust is a bit premature.
  9. That's so ridiculous that it's not even funny. You've got the college team, who has MAYBE a handful of guys ready for the NFL. On the other side you have guys who are actually in the NFL. No contest.
  10. That we have very little else on defense makes his performance even more impressive. They plan for him and he still disupts offenses. If I recall correctly, he had 2 sacks in three plays that caused a three and out. So he needs to do that more often to be defensive player of the year? I guarantee you that no other player in the league does that.
  11. It was kind of the key play in the game. It is also what most everybody is going to be remembering about that game.
  12. As a whole, this seems to be a second half team. Both the Defense and Offense seems to rally well after halftime. Just need to see that fire in the first half!
  13. The award is for Defensive player of the year, not Defense of the year. He's having a great season by any DT standard. All he does is make plays in the backfield all game long. Sure he doesn't do it every single down that is played, but nobody does. As a team, yes this defense is not good. As a player, Williams is having a stellar season.
  14. The poor play of a team does not necessarily reflect the play of an individual. If you don't think Kyle Williams has had a great year you haven't been watching him during the games.
  15. The more this guy plays the more I like him. IMO he's getting better each time he plays. I want to see how good he can be.
  16. Hilarious! Well played sir. Definitely got a good rise out of the board.
  17. 2. In addition, Carrington was held on a play that negated a decent Pitt gain (if memory is serving me).
  18. He had a bad game, and it sucks that we lost. He's gonna bounce back and be a better player because of this. I'm still on the Stevie Bandwagon!
  19. Don't forget two turnovers in the redzone and a dropped TD pass. The second half performance SHOULD have gotten the win. There was some very poor WR play from Lee and Stevie today.
  20. I was at that game. All the Bills fans were giddy and giving high fives. My joy caused a few threats to come from Skins fans at the end of the game. I just laughed The guy has had a few bad kicks recently. It happens to everybody and is being overblown. He's been a VERY good kicker for the Bills and it would be foolish to get rid of him after a couple of weeks of being sub-par.
  21. I was not a fan of Jones making the roster over Chad Jackson at the start of the season, but his play continues to prove me wrong. I like what he does on the field when he's given an opportunity. He seems to be making the most of it.
  22. I hope everything is ok at home. Great writeup - fun read.
  23. As you said in another reply, the Baltimore OT loss was the most impressive game of the season so far for this team. I want them to take the next step. They've played close to playoff teams, they've beat bad teams, now it's time to beat a playoff team.
