  1. Beane must have his eyes on someone else. If he wanted him, he would have gotten him.
  2. I think we should try to find something that works, I think Beane will, but my concern with Poyer is he's just now pushing this. Free Agency started a month ago and he's just now switching agents. The Diggs deal has been talked about and expected since during the season, Poyer waits until most teams have already allocated their budgets to try to get a bigger deal?
  3. I think the stadium is going to get negative attention, mostly from people politicizing it, increasingly until it opens. I am wondering what happens if Hochul somehow lost her election in November and if that affects this deal.
  4. When can we start seeing some stadium designs?
  5. We have to resign Diggs. It's fair and makes sense. Not only is he reliably one of the top receivers in the game, but he's a leader on the team, and next to Josh, he's got the best winning mentality on the team.
  6. The moment that stands out for me when I knew he would be good was that game and it was in 2018. It was the first time we really saw him take the team on his back and carry them to a win.
  7. I don't think it's possible KC would trade him to Buffalo.
  8. The behind the scenes operations of this team have improved so much in the last 5 years, it's hard to measure, but I don't miss those days, nor the days of T.O. joining "North America's team".
  9. I'm going to be so drunk by Super Bowl time.
  10. I don't think 31 is old in the NFL anymore.
  11. Just trying to manage expectations at this point lol
  12. I was big on him at first, but when I started looking into his performance, it's been average at best or below. The fact he's making $6 million more than Knox doesn't make any sense to me other than it's his last real opportunity in the NFL, and it's going to be in Jacksonville.
  13. He had three seasons with Manning and two with Daniel Jones, he had two seasons where he caught less than 60% of passes thrown his way, one from Manning and one from Jones. This is while the Giants had guys like OBJ, Golden Tate, Sterling Shepard, and Darius Slayton. He's not worth $9 million a year, he's probably worth half that, Jags pay a premium for FAs to come there.
  14. Got it now, thanks to all 5 responses! 🙏
  15. Wouldn't cutting Star save us over $9m in cap space?
  16. As of today, Friday morning, aren't we officially under the cap with the roster moves the last few days? Or are we close? Last I thought I understood we were only $2m away from being under on Wednesday.
  17. Hey folks, just wanted to point out that I took nearly a two-week break from this board while traveling and this thread is STILL being discussed.
  18. So our former OC who was clearly attempting to take credit for Josh Allen's level of performance probably didn't get along with McD? But as soon as rumors started up about Daboll leaving, Allen was quick to say he wanted Dorsey. Yeah, sorry, I'm not really bothered by any of this. If McD was that bad, Dorsey would have left.
  19. I wonder if the Dolphins will pay the Bills $100,000 every time we beat them. We could use that for an edge rusher.
  20. Well all coaches are known for their personality soo...
  21. Tbh i just like this post. The way it starts out. I cut out some redundant parts but all of his points are accurate. Including the crowbar and Allen being figured out. Mostly it will come down to who can rattle him and Josh has got the most ice in his veins. The only question I have is it players or schemes on defense the Bills are missing? To me, I didn't think the Bengals defense was outstanding. I do think they had a better pass rush and couldn't tell if that was just from blitzes or their players, hadn't watched any of their games.
  22. I think Josh has proven even in games where he's not throwing well, he can still take control and be impactful. Look at the Falcons game, he has a horrible day throwing, but scores twice with his leg, and could have gotten 100 yards if he wanted to. I think his long-term success will come down to how well he's able to play both sides and faking teams on it. The key IMO will be his offensive coaching staff and their ability to detect and make adjustments as the game progresses, and his weapons of course.
