Well sometimes in here we get to a place where you're past proving your point, but the person you're arguing with is still, well, being an idiot. Rather than repeating yourself until you're blue in the face (or fingers), it's better just to say, "you're an idiot."™

I was watching CourtTV yesterday (TruTV now ) and they talked about this case for about half an hour in between segments about a murder in Georgia. Haven't seen it on any of the major "news" networks yet, though.

I've seen people call them !@#$s or pieces of ****, not just calling their writing really ****ty. That's what he's talking about, taking it beyond their writing and saying something about them personally when most of the posters here haven't met either of them.

IMO, Leonidas stepped over the line with the first post about Reiss, and Tim responded fine to that. I think it should have ended there. Leonidas did a running long jump over the line with the second post, and if Tim's patience ran out there, that's fine by me (although I'd prefer it if he stayed around). I think Tom has it right when he says that Leonidas has legitimate complaints, but the TG thread was no place for them. A "fart in an elevator" is a pretty good way of putting it. As far as the corporate success of ESPNInsertCityHere, what the hell do you expect? If it sells, keep selling it. Disney is there to make money, and if what they're doing works, more power to them.
