  1. As long as we keep winning, I could listen to Fran Drescher call the game
  2. While oversea's, I have to stream my Bills coverage and unable to record it, making self-analysis difficult for some positions. Can someone elaborate on how Preston Brown did overall as he was filling in for Bradham at LB? I saw him get torched for the TD pass to MB, but didn't notice much of him after that. For a defender, that might be a good thing. Thanks ahead of time, Mike
  3. Yeah, nfl.com works great overseas. I used it every year when I was stationed in Germany for 8 years. Now you can purchase individual games as well. And the internet infrastructure there is so much better, you shouldn't have any issue watching it from any wi-fi network.
  4. Thinking about ways to shore up our interior offensive line and just saw that Chiefs #73 Jon Asamoah is a free agent this year. Any thoughts on going after him? I haven't seen him too much, but I do remember him being fairly highly touted coming out of Illinois a few years ago, and he has been blocking for Jamaal Charles so he must be doing something right. Thoughts?
  5. I might be a little over zealous with this, but doesn't it seem that we have an illegal block in the back (or a big hold) on special teams returns every single game? What happened to the days of our ST's being a true threat?
  6. Injuries were huge last year, and the year before that, and the year before that, and... Also, didn't Urbik go off the field today? I don't remember if he came back on. I had a crappy feed of the game.
  7. By listening to the commentary, I think he's freaking out because a kick was just ran back by the Bronc's. I think its anguish, not happiness. Either way, the guy is a freaking moron and I'm embarrased for him.
  8. I thought Brooks' play was pretty horrible for the majority of the game, but seemed to get a bit better at the end. Also, he ALWAYS had his back to the ball and never seemed to know when his receiver was about to make a play on a pass. I think the poor weather had more to do with the decent pass completion/yards stats than did Henne's play or ability. However, thats not why I'm replying. I'll admit, I'm a bit of a clean game/sportsmanship kind of guy, but... when Jags WR shorts split the defenders (to include Brooks) and made the TD grab, Brooks was shaken up on the play. He stayed on the ground holding his arm having taken a shot. Shorts got up having just scored (with little to no celebration) and when he saw Brooks down holding his arm, he went over and showed obvious concern/consideration for the downed Bill. Fast forward to when Brooks put a (deemed illegal) helmet-to-helmet hit on Shorts later in the game, in which Shorts stayed down and actually left the game, Brooks got up celebrating like he was the next coming of Ronnie Lott - with no consideration for the injured Jag, who I thought was knocked out. I'm not saying that he should have checked on Shorts or did anything different, I just think for the type of game he was having and considering he was just beat for a TD a bit before that, it was maybe a bit un-necessary. My $0.02
  9. AFN will be showing the game this Sunday, so thanks for all the help guys! As an added bonus, because Europe changes time a week earlier than the US, this game starts at 9 instead of 10 p.m - so the late game isn't THAT bad! Thanks again for the votes and support!
  10. Thanks guys! Don't know why I didn't just link it myself, but I appreciate it SJBF. Tomcat, your thanks is appreciated. Go Bills!
  11. All, Yes I have the NFL gamepass, but it isn't the same as watching the game on TV. AFN (Armed Forces Network) is the military's television network for troops stationed abroad. This year they are doing a "fan's choice game" each week, where the game most voted on gets shown. If you have 2 minutes of time and a Facebook page, please search for MyAFN Fan's Choice, click on the view app (which is just a voting button) tab and vote for the Bills vs. Skins. Right now it is leading in votes, but the Patsy/Steeler game is creeping up -- lots of military folks w/ Steel-town affiliation! Thanks ahead of time for anyone that takes a second to vote -- it saves me from having to create a thousand FB accounts to steal the vote!
  12. I just like that we can actually go to another teams message boards and find fans who expect to lose to the Bills. When was the last time you could say that? I LOVE this feeling!
  13. Just like last week, the Bills game is being shown on Armed Forces Network as the game of the week! If our Bills keep this winning trend up, my $275 NFL gamepass subscription is going to be all for naught -- and I don't care! If you're watching this game from the AOR tonight, have fun, check six and keep your head down. GO BILLS! (From Grafenwoehr, Germany)
  14. I am, I guess, relieved. However, my biggest concern is still that in some key positions, we are one injury away from disaster. Oh, and someone please start a thread about our line play on both sides of the ball!
  15. I have been waiting since we lost Bryce Paup to find my favorite player in the NFL... #22 FJ it is!
  16. Theres our stop, nerves out, give 'em heck! I for one like the 4th down call. Lindel is suspect at that range and a missed fg gives even worse field position and 3 points doesn't turn much momentum.
  17. I just bought game pass last night, but oh well, awesome news!! We'll be watching from Germany on AFN! Go Bills,!! BMore, I thought HD wouldn't be available to us until late next year! PLEASE let me know if I am missing out on something.
  18. I can't keep up with 22+ pages of posts, so I'll just add this... I am as stoked as anyone about the win, but am holding my breath to see the outcome of the injuries to Stevie, Roscoe and Urbik. Great win, Go BILLS!
  19. This may have already been said, I didn't read every post. However, the thing that I am most upset about is that it was reported that Buffalo turned down offers for a third round pick in return for molds around the draft. A few months down the road, winless and now we take a 4th rounder. It's just frustrating.
  20. Ok, so I had pick #6 in a 12-team league, which runs 3 starting WR's. I think this is my weak area though and am looking for suggestions for my starters vs my reserves. Also, I posted this best available FA's if you think there is a better option in that bunch. Of note, I accidently clicked on auto-draft without realizing it at one point and the computer picked Bernard Berrian over Pierre Garccon! Dammit. My WR's (need 3 starters): Berrian, Bernard WR MIN - Evans, Lee WR BUF - Ochocinco, Chad WR CIN - Floyd, Malcom WR SD - Washington, Nate WR TEN Top FA's: Manningham, Mario WR NYG - Henderson, Devery WR NO - Crayton, Patrick WR DAL - Bennett, Earl WR CHI - Jenkins, Michael WR ATL - Clayton, Mark WR BAL - Camarillo, Greg WR MIA - Thomas, Mike WR JAC
  21. Thats an interesting statistic. I would also be interested to see what our average "to go" was vs. our opponents average. I think you are absolutely right, if we brought those two percentages closer together, I bet we change our point differential by 1 or two points over the course of the season. Might not seem like much, but how many games did we lose by a touchdown or less or over the last few years?
