I'm not really interested in this fight but I AM interested in knowing WTF happened last week. No one has raised the point of what TO was yelling on the sideline with JR and Tyke Tolbert. I am a good lipreader and TO is easy to lipread. I distinctly saw the phrases, "I'm !@#$ing wide open, he knows that" and "Tell the quarterback," this last with a finger pointed down the sideline in TO's direction. To me it was clear he was done with Trent. And JR was backing him up. Nothing that happened afterward came as a surprise.

I think he would have been only too willing to take the credit if things had worked out. Now that the football side has all fallen apart, he's back to being Mr. Marketing Guru. He should be accountable for the failures on the football side. Those people reported to him too.

QFT. And if that last play didn't prove it, nothing will.

Dude had no place else to go. We bid against ourselves to get him. He gets his money AND he blows off camp and practices half the time claiming mysterious ailments. Screw him.

The last time he fired a HC in midseason was 23 years ago, and then we had just laid out the red carpet for a future Hall of Fame quarterback who probably had a hand in the firing, rookie though he was. That team also had a GM that knew what had to be done. This one doesn't even have a GM. Ralph had an investment to protect back then. I'm not so sure he sees it that way anymore. Frankly, I'm not sure what he sees, period.

The guy is from Long Beach, started one season at USC and has played in exactly ZERO cold-weather games in his career. Zero.

I did some research and found that before last Sunday, the last time the Bills won and the Pats*, Dolphins, Cowboys and Steelers all lost on the same weekend was December 13, 1998. No wonder I was so happy all week.

Maybe now we can stop with this ridiculous anointing. He's played two games. Let's see how he deals with adversity and weather.
