The sad thing isn't that Lindell laughed. It's that from the Pats' 39, with Lee Evans and Terrell Owens on this team, we knew a 56-yard FG had better odds than a TD pass or interference call.

I should also add that late false start calls risk needless injury to the players.

Exactly. Late calls are psychologically more damaging to a team. And if the calls are so obvious, why are they made so late?

In my younger days I would just go to a bar to watch the game. Not an option now with a seven-year-old son who is a rabid Bills/Sabres fan, although I might sneak out after halftime when he should be in bed. Best solution would be to run the Sabres on the TV and the Bills on the internet. Will justin.tv or whatever have the game tonight?

Is this true? Because I went to NFL.com, checked out the link for the game and all it said was "listen live with FieldPass." They DO show the archived video. I would be surprised if the cable providers and NBC were okay with the NFL simulcasting games online for which the providers and NBC paid out the nose to show on TV.

It was beautiful when they ran that tape of him blowing up Vernon Turner. Someone needs to put together a montage and send it to the Hall voters. I can remember specifically some great plays he made on Turner, Tim Brown, Deion Sanders, Tamarick Vanover...all the great ones. They never did ish against Tasker.
