  1. I know this is slightly off topic, but when I attended the Houston Texans game where Losman hit Price in the end-zone to win, those fans were also very good to us, and even in the stands were the best I have been exposed to. It's one thing to love your team and support them with maniacal passion, and it's another to just take it too far and be a complete douche. It has sadly become the norm at the Ralph, and I really don't like what has become of my game day experience(At RWS). Here's my short list of places where the fans were complete A-Holes to us: Tennessee Chicago Tampa Cleveland
  2. terrible, god i hope not. the 70's unis = a huge fail.
  3. Wow, i thought the bashing on this board was out of hand. scroll down and read some of the comments posted... you'd think the guy stabbed a baby seal in the eye with a fork.
  4. Ohh he's quite possibly on here under several names, but you can make him go away by calling him out on his blind stupidity so that he'll roll up into a fetal position and set you to ignore hehehehe...... I am actually free of his moronic comments now. For anyone interested in making his ignore list, see my easy to follow steps in the ESPN Ultimate Rankings thread.
  5. Just when I can't possibly think you can get any dumber, you go right ahead and prove me wrong. LOOSE = Not Tight LOSE = Not Win LOST = Not Won I guess you haven't put down the hot pockets yet..... Man you're just making this too easy. Please, before it gets any worse for you, you might want to consider closing this account and re-registering with a new user-name, I don't think anyone can honestly read another post from you without bursting into uncontrollable laughter. Recent and most popular terminology would refer to you as "Epic Fail" As for debating my opinions with you, I would have if you had attempted to make a valid point without the infantile remarks. My last bit of advice to you : Read this, you obviously need it. http://www.amazon.com/How-Win-Friends-Infl...0841&sr=1-1 Reading....from left to right, top to bottom, words together forming sentences, sentences forming paragraphs. Take Advil for any headaches you might develop, Midol for your cramps, and Massingil to flush the sand you seem to have in your.....
  6. Yes, when a guy like Mike Shannahan, known for his ability to manage offensive talent is quick to dispose of him, and replace him with an aging "never won it all" guy like McNabb, that's saying something. And Mcnabb should have enough in the tank to prove to be a major upgrade over Campbell. That's one of the offseason moves i plan on watching closely this year, along with the Pete Carroll disaster that's just waiting to implode out in Seattle.... poor Matt Hasselbeck...
  7. Didn't read it, you are a complete moron, and am no longer going to waste my time discussing things with you, you don't know enough about football to take anything you say seriously. There isn't one post where you haven't insulted someone with your mindless drivel, and your lame insulting remarks. You have earned every bashing comment i have read on here from others on this board, and I have come to the conclusion that unless someone posts something negative about the Bills, you are going to jump all over it. Waah, Waah, Waah, the bills are going to suck, trent blows, we don't have a left tackle, the defense is crap...Have I summed up almost every one of your posts? yep.... ohh wait T.O. is great and the Bills are stupid for releasing him. There, now i have it all. All you need to do from now on is highlight this sentence and post it as your reply to everyone else on here. You can add your 3rd grade reading level snarky remarks at the end, I don't want to help you out there, you do a good job all by your little self in making yourself look stupid. It's time to hang up your Members Only jacket, put down the Hot Pockets, get out of your Mommy's basement, and get a clue. Man, I feel sorry for anyone related to you.
  8. Let me preempt this reply with the fact that these are my opinions, open for logical debate and discussion, which is why i am here at all. With that said, I'll reply to your comments as numbered: 1. I never said i was content, I said there's no reason to be concerned, even a top QB talent would only be serviceable in a completely new offensive scheme, and until all outside excuses for Trent's poor play have been removed, and Brian Brohm shows whether or not he is good, it would be a complete waste of time to attempt to develop someone else, not to mention not put the team any further ahead. - Falling out of your chair? Really? Are you drunk, or just an attention starved drama queen? 2. Yes it does, his play was poor, route running and lack of overall effort took playing time away from young draft picks, and put their development 1 year behind already. Your silly little insult about my opinion, while noted just makes you look like an idiot. Nevermind the fact you would trade playing experience for Hardy for the lousy effort of a fading 37 year old just so he could chat with TO. - try harder to actually come up with a reply without an insult, and a good counterpoint, and maybe people around here might take you seriously. 3. This one was a well thought out reply, my answer to this is simple, again, in my opinion, the learning curve with the current talent in this team will perform better than a very poorly run, out-dated, and ill-fitted tampa2 defense that looked so bad last year, that i was always shocked anyone even attempted a pass. Rex Ryan was a complete sh t head for not doing just that. 4. Based on what? You haven't seen anyone currently on this roster play the position, so you have nothing to go on. I am going to wait to see if I agree with you in January. 5. Says me. It's my opinion that this team, like many others will play better in the 2nd half of the season, once that have time to play the new defensive system, barring they won't be decimated by injuries. Simple research and personal experience on playing on the college level supports my belief in both football, and Rugby. Your statement is one of complete pessimism supported by nothing. 6. Jason Campbell blows. Fact. The Raiders are in such disarray, you have nothing to support your claim, other than an excellent draft, which, again is an unknown. I found reading your comments and your contrived points and insults a bit boring this time, you really don't do a very good job of making any solid counterpoints, and come off as snarky, which I replied back in kind. I don't think you need to be banned or blocked, I just think you should grow up. Being a pessimistic smart@ss in a chat forum is about as cool as a tan members only jacket, and based upon the amount of people around here who could care less what you say, I would say it's not working for you. And quit with the "i Don't care what people think" because if you didn't, you wouldn't be here, that my friend is absolute, and irrefutable. The people who don't care are not on forums. I'm not saying you need to eat sunshine and crap rainbows, try not insulting people for a change, and realize that neither the extremely optimistic, nor the extremely pessimistic posters have any more insight on the outcome of the season, and your trend of someone writing anything close to positive, or even neutral speculation draws your poorly supported pessimistic views time and time again saying the same things is beyond old.
  9. I find it absolutely amazing that we're not ranked 32 on that list. In all fairness to the ranking gurus, how can you even begin to assess where this team will be ranked? New offense, new defense, and new head coach. If this team has as much talent as i feel they do, i don't see them ranking that low for very long. If Marshawn gets his head out of his ass, our running game alone, coupled with better conditioning, and a coaching staff that just might utilize the talent on this team that has laid dormant for close to 4 years, I honestly see 8 wins, regardless of opponent. There's no reason this year to be concerned about the QB situation, any one of the QBs on this team can have a serviceable season if the line stays healthy, and plays better than last year, Trent already has shown that he can at least be that when he had protection in 2008. With an offense that features more plays in the playbook, opposing defenses won't be able to sit back and guess which of the 4 plays we might run. And lastly, i think the riddance of T.O. was addition by subtraction. Defensively, this team is already bigger against the run, and I'm sure we'll see some breakdowns due to a new system, but overall, they look far more athletic up front, especially in the LB positions, which should result in the team getting beat by strong run blocking teams with a good ground attack, but that can only get better, and, in my opinion, already look better on paper than last year. So I think it's only fair that the team initially is ranked this low, maybe a bit too low, but you can't fault them, they have no idea what this group will do. I only object to the Raiders ranking, as I strongly feel that Jason Campbell truly blows as a QB, and doesn't make that crappy team better than anyone. They should be ranked 33rd, yes, one lower then the future expansion team destined for LA. I do welcome any genuine debate, or comments....
  10. I'm putting this in my signature, i might even have it tattooed accross my ass. Best description of the Bills offense ever. I will cherish this quote for years to come....
  11. No statement i have come across on this board has ever been more true. If it were an SAT question it would read like this: ^^^that quote is to truth = water is to a. wet b. h20 c. Dick Jauron's skull contents d. all of the above can't even get that one wrong
  12. Damn! You beat me to it!! That was the first thing I thought too........
  13. Ever heard of this guy? This is the wrong board to be pretty sure. http://www.buffalobills.com/team/roster/jp...4-3bcf72d7cb3c/
  14. Based upon the OP's original statement... yup... it'd 12 wins or bust... PTR.... you forgot to add..."without a real coach and QB we keep winning 6-7 games a year yet we are the worst team in football, yet without...."
  15. To answer the original poster's question: No, not a snow ball's chance in hell would i want to bring Michael Vick in as QB, and I base that solely on his body of work as a QB. He had Garbage accuracy, Garbage ability to read defenses, Garbage completion percentage, and Garbage ability to move the chains by making downfield plays from the pocket. I just don't get how anyone can seriously think he is a talented QB. My question to the people who think he IS a talented QB, what are you basing it on? I'll give you one thing, he was in a lot of stupid commercials, so after that, what are you looking at? He's a downgrade on every level compared to the corn-meal we have on our roster currently, and thats saying something. Now if you asked the board: Would you want this socially retarded jackass as our QB if the Eagles release him? that would be a more fitting description of one of the most self loving morons i have ever seen in the NFL, and yes I am one who thinks he is entirely to blame for all the stupid and brainless things that happens around him. He likes to think he is a gangster, and surrounds himself with people who carry guns, gamble on illegal activities, and goes out and celebrates things in a "hey look at me...everyone....look at me....i have an entourage....look at me...we carry guns because i think i am important" way. Given this statement, even if he had a 70% completion percentage, and made Steve Young look like a bum, I still wouldn't want him on the Bills, I have more self respect than to root for a person with that little moral character. It goes deeper than just winning games for me, this team brings me pride in my community, and to the city if Buffalo, and Michael Vick on this team would be like someone wiping their ass with the american flag.
  16. "Upside" If it is used in a sentence about quarterbacks not currently on our roster, then it actually means.. "I hate Trent Edwards"
  17. Black, Meet kettle. It's a discussion thread, which anyone here has the freedom to express their opinion on it, just as you have, whether you agree to it or not. If you disagree, how about presenting some valid counterpoints or evidence supporting your position that he is not a thug, instead of whining about it. And if you don't have an counterpoints, then take the advice of your last sentence and move on.
  18. Here's a simple rule to follow if your Michael Vick: If your friends carry guns, and would pull them out at a frickin birthday party, then maybe they're not the kind of people you should be around. Michael Vick is known to hold a high opinion of himself, and likes the thug image. He has to incur some responsibility having people with guns around him, plain and simple. It's hard not to see the same attitude that got him into trouble the first time, and I'm sure he had plenty smartass remarks to say while in the company of his thug entourage that would make someone smash cake into his face. Does anyone really think this guy just walked in, grabbed a handful of cake and smashed it into poor, innocent, sweet, kind, soft spoken, gentle Mike Vick's face? Yeah right!
  19. for working a cheektowaga reference into a thread.
  20. Ooh, Ooh, I have a really strong suspicion of which "somewhere else" you might be referring to.....
  21. ^^ Very hard to argue this point. ^^ I challenge anyone to show me a QB who could have performed at a high level last year with all the issues related to the offense. We all know what happened last year, no need to recap that monkey F@#king a football. Neither Joe Montana or Steve Young could have done better in their prime. Need an example? Look up Steve Young's Tampa career.
  22. He may be TSW's official "Turd in the Punch Bowl", but you don't want to block a guy who so easily gets his ass handed to him when people reply. It's quite amusing to see. Look up his username, see which threads he has posted in, read all the replies to his comments, then sit back and have a good laugh. Trust me, after the Dick Jauron era epic failure, we've all suffered enough, and could use a good laugh.
