Imagine the anxiety on the Cleveland message board these last two weeks.

Everyone who knows me, knows I bleed Bills and Sabres. I’m hearing from all quarters. I think the entire NFL outside of the New England enjoyed seeing the Bills take down the Patriots. The Patriots sustained run has alienated just about every fan base. That beat down was good for fans everywhere and earned Buffalo a lot of new respect and fans.

I said it upthread and I’ll repeat it again. Knox is growing on me. If for no other reason he gave us the meme of the century with his toe-drag in front of Belichick and then Billy’s verbal and physical phone assault. That was THE moment in the Bills season where us fans knew the tides had turned.

One of the greatest ref calls ever. Still remember the call to this day.

Me too. I’m going to believe that until I see the word out by his name. I believe he has been playing hurt since the Rams game. Guys have incentives in their contracts. 1000 yards is likely one of them. Probably just the fan in me, but I want to see him get that milestone.

Stefon Diggs named AFC Offensive Player of the Week
wjag replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The thing I loved about him in that game is we finally saw something we haven't seen all season. Breakaway speed. He kind of lopes out there. Skip hops, etc. Was awesome to see him run away from Jackson. -
I'm convinced with no proof that it was a designed play. Allen rolls right and everyone knows it. The whole offense is rolling right. I think it was designed to fool the Patriots into believing it was going that way. The problem with the play was Moss did not get a good block on the blitzer forcing Allen to leave the pocket faster than he wanted. I doubt the plan was to have a diving back pylon catch. So it was executed ALMOST the way they envisioned it. IMHO.

I'm not prepared to say Tua has a weak arm. What I think I see is a hesitation to throw into coverage at the moment. I think the play calling reflects that. And it is never more obvious to me when they put Fitz in. Fitz's decision making is so much faster and at the moment, more confident. I think Tua will be fine. He just needs more reps.

Bill Belichik comments - Looks good on him

Agreed. First tier FA destinations are likely to remain KC and TB for offense and BAL for defense. Billy-boy has 50m in cap money to burn. He’ll be on a spending binge come spring. -
A Few Thoughts About the Patriots Game, in no particular order
wjag replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Two plays in this game, conducted in the Bills end of the field perfectly bookended the night. The first came when ST threw a left handed pass from Johnson to Neal on a punt formation where both gunners were left unblocked. A play formation NE used against Buffalo last year to block a punt for a tide-turning TD. The second was a deep pass to Davis when leading 31-9. A play reminiscent of the douchebaggery of Brady to Moss under the bright lights of SNF. A completion there would have been so epic. The message clearly sent there was the Bills were not done with the ass whooping. In two perfect weeks, first by the Dolphins eliminating the Patriots from the playoffs and followed up by the Bills finally beating down the Patriots in Primetime ensuring their first losing record in 21st century the peasants of the division rose up to dethrone the AFCEast kings. And yes the J*E*T*S are going to get their pound of flesh too this week completing a three straight game sweep of the Patriots. The reign of terror is now officially over and all the NFL is happy. !!!! so it is written, so it be done !!!! -

Love this guy. His hate of the Patriots and Chiefs runs deep.
