Watching that game, it was pretty clear that the Chiefs wanted to put a lot of things on tape for Buffalo to consider. Highlighting McKinnon's speed and sending Pringle and Hardman out on patterns. That Kelce TD pass has to scare the beejeebees out of the Bills. How the heck do you defend against that creativity? Think you seen it before, that quick little shovel pass to Kelce? First run it early with ?McKinnon? to show it. Run it a second time but this time with Kelce. The Steelers jumped it only to find that Kelce hops up and throws it. Brilliant play call. Something else I think I noticed. The big man TD was thrown to the right. I'm not sure about this, but I don't think I have ever seen one thrown to the right by a right handed QB. Feels like 100% of them are center cut or thrown to the natural throwing motion of the QB, to the left. Lastly, the Mahommes run of 25 yards. They wanted Buffalo to know that was there for the taking too. Buffalo also wanted to show KC some stuff. The Big man TD. Allen taking the underneath stuff and then delivering the long ball. Singletary pounding the rock. The Allen designed runs. Reminding the Chiefs what weapons Knox and Davis are. While trick plays were not required against the Patriots, you have to believe Daboll won't hold back in this game. I don't recall too many Bills games where Allen pitched the ball on an RPO, but that was shown too. This has all the earmarks of a great game. Neither team has the upper hand motivation-wise. Vegas thinks it will be close. They were all white in week 5, that's my guess.

My Monday 10 thoughts: 1. KC put on a display last night. They showed Buffalo that they have an endless bag of trick plays they can call. 2. Weather forecast looks perfect. 3. Personally hate the 6:30 Sunday time slot, but a blind man could see it coming with the late KC game and magnitude of the game this weekend coming. 4. Dallas had one of the most head scratching plays I have ever witnessed. McCarthy deserves to be fired after that. 5. Titans-Bengals looks like a very interesting matchup as well. Burrows played a great game for a first time play off appearance 6. If Pittsburgh had anything, IF BEN HAD ANYTHING, KC would not have played the way they did. That was embarrassing for Ben to go out that way. He looked like an empty husk of a Hall of Fame player. 7. Here is where we find out just what kind of player Dane Jackson is. 8. I can hear the narrative all week. Josh had the game of his career. He isn't likely to repeat it. Patty had his usual. Nothing out of his norm there. Cue Nicky Wright and Kevin Wildes. 9. Great FMIA read this week on Buffalo. Loved Jordan Palmer's tweet to Josh before he played the game against NE. "So proud to know that you’ve risen to the level of being a Pro Bowl alternate!" 10. Glad the nor'easter missed the game by one day!!! Happy shovel out day Buffalo..

NFL to Vegas, yeah our bad. But the refs on the field didn’t have their hearing aids properly tuned so their was a one second audio delay. 😞 -

it really was the most absurd statement to make. And just like a petulant child knowing what he just said was wrong, he doubled and tripled down. -
The “we had no answer” game.

Anyone else notice BB changed from his sweatshirt/hoodie to a proper jacket at half time? Just another error in judgement in this game. So you practiced outside all week in 40 degree temps. Apparently hoodies and crapping the bed on national TV lowers your body temperature even as your head is steaming.

There's just something off about him and his delivery. He always has this sour disposition. Maybe it's his delivery, but he is top three of my least favorite analysts to listen to. Even when he was giving his Stevie to Diggs, it was just off. And oh by the way, Knox and Chase had bigger, more impactful receiving days yesterday. -
I think NFL coaches end of game persona should not be judged in the moment. Coaches hate losing. Coaches hate being embarrassed. But they are in a small fraternity with a very short shelf life for many. I think they respect each other. They know how much time and effort is expended each week to put that product on the field. We fans can't begin to appreciate the time, effort and stress they are under. And it's a billion times worse now with the internet and electronic media that is out there now judging your every facial expression.

He also glides when he runs. It doesn't look like he has any real speed, but his strides are so effortless and all of a sudden you realize he is 30 yards down field. Shame on his near KR TD, he was tripped by friendly fire. -

The Afterglow.. Can we put an active player up on the wall of fame while he is still playing? 1. I still can't believe what we watched. That beat down of the Patriots is so cathartic. 2. Oh the irony. Hey NE how does it feel to be beaten by a TE? 3. Micah, have a game!!! 4. TBass-- get right man, we need you 5. Josh Allen -- I love you Josh Allen 6. The Bills OLINE -- Take a bow 7. Devin my man.. You just put the scare into the rest of the NFL and destroyed the narrative 8. That deep pass to Diggs was sick... 9. Tommy Doyle and E Sanders apparently got their first playoff TDs in the same game.. How crazy is that. Heard that somewhere tonight. Crazy if true. 10. For all the beat writers that picked NE to beat Buffalo because of their coach, sit down 11. Mac Jones took his beat down like a man. Kid showed me some resiliency tonight. His arm strength is definitely questionable, but he played to last minute. 12. I was actually rooting for NE to score so Buffalo did not have to run out the clock and punt. 13. The Bills DLINE was pushing back that pocket all night.. What a clinic. 14. I think we came out of the game healthy too. 15. 21-25 for 308, 65 yards rushing and 5 TDs, no Sacks, No INTs, No fumbles 16. 7 drives, 7 TDs what an astonishing achievement 17. Isiah again with a monster game for the Little Man. 18. Loved the Star sack. He swallowed Jones. 19. Don't look now NFL, but Buffalo appears to have fixed it's run defense ever since Harry starts next to Eddy O. 20. Come on Steelers, I don't expect you to win, but soften up 15 and company. 21. Josh Allen cemented his reputation as a big deal tonight and joined the NFL Mount Rushmore of Rodgers, Brady and Mahommes. -

They will say that was before Mahommes found himself. Don’t agree with it, but it will be said over and over this week. Bank it. -

The narrative has already been formed. Good Josh vs Great Josh. Tonight they will say he was Great Josh. But they will also say he can’t do it against Mahommes. -
