Good: 77 Seconds against Denver Bad Superbowl XXV... Otis Freakin Anderson Ugly Randy and Tommy
-
My sense is two things. Hot bus first time. And appointment second time.
-
Certainly all three are likely candidates. Ford has to be on his last chance. Moss is next likely. The churn in the RB room says they're not content. Epenesa least likely although there are a ton of DL competing for those spots. All have a chance to impress in July and save their spots. All have a chance to be August cuts/trades.

duck, duck goose

i have never watched a single play from the four lost super bowls. I won’t until they win one. They’re all indelibly stamped in my brain. To this day I still say Otis Freaking Anderson!

Pretty low key appearance.

Eric Wood with good Bills info on Bussin with the Boys
wjag replied to BillsfanAZ's topic in The Stadium Wall
This was outstanding. If you like a player's raw, unfiltered talk, take the time to watch this AFTER they get finished talking about their kids. As much as this board demeans Lewan, he comes across as a regular dude. Woods and Lewan talking O-line is great banter. And Woods discussing his broken leg and Lewan reacting to it.. Anywho... If you got the time, it just may, may, change your opinion on Lewan. Woods talking about his broken leg ... "did the Joe Theisman" -
It's also good for recruiting future players.. Never know how the TE market is going to change...

Are players’ comments about the Bills’ culture typical?
wjag replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
I believe the statements are genuine. We sometimes forget that players are more connected than ever off the field. They game together, they practice together, they share agents, and they are networked through social media and cell phones. What we hear in the television and print media are the snippets packaged for general audiences and platitudes abound. What I suspect we don't hear is the back channel chatter amongst players. And this is where the team reputation is most important. Made up examples of what I imagine is player grapevine fodder: Did you hear what Urban did? Did you see the Buffalo weight room? Saleh is a tyrant in the film room, etc.. We grew up in Buffalo, so we are not unbiased. But there has to be something to it as players who come here, seem to love it here. And some stay after their careers are done. -
Josh Allen Conrad Dobler Peyton Manning (yes he has been in a few movies) Could you imagine the stories..

Feeling like Bengals might be "Top Opponent" this year
wjag replied to Billsfanatixs's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the Bills v Bengals has 5-star potential. I’m going. Bought my tixs today. I’m going to Steelers, Browns and Jets in Buffalo and @Ravens and @Bengals this year so far. That means I’m going to see all of the AFC North v Bills games. That @Bengals on 2 Jan in Cincy on MNF is going to be lit. -
Buffalo: Dion Dawkins for the Players Tribune
wjag replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
In a press conference soon after that day, Dawkins took a question from a reporter. They got wind that he went back to the East side and helped a young man celebrate a birthday who was personally impacted by the events of that day. There were no PR announcements made and no cameras were there to record the event. He seemed genuinely surprised that the press found out. He made the statement akin to I just did it because. The man is genuine. -
Yeah that too. But what do you call the 390?
-
ahem.. its "the 90" not the "I-90". I saw this 'you are from Buffalo if you say' list ... and saying "the 90" was in the list. Here in Maryland we say I-95.. I do it all the time. And when I talk about Buffalo I say 'the 90 to the 390." I wasn't even aware of it until I read the list.

The NFL’s best quarterbacks against every type of coverage
wjag replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall
My reaction was similar. In a 17 game season, he saw Cover 0 less than once per game on average??? But I suppose that gets washed out a bit when they were in Cover 0 and it was a run play. Not sure how often that would happen. I would suspect most QBs would change the play to a pass if they had an inkling that they were looking at Cover 0. -
I can't argue with anything he said. I would proffer that bomb to Gabe in KC was right there too. The magnitude of that play at that time can't be diminished. In fact the go ahead TD to Gabe too should be in the list too. It's not just degree of difficulty that should be considered when rating throws, but the impact on the game. The play he showed to Gabe was not KC.

Tyreek Hill says Tua is more accurate than Mahomes
wjag replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
The lady doth protest too much, methinks -
It really will never be clear until the owner's books are open like a player's salary is. It could be the Ram's owner doesn't care about money and wants only to win. It could be that even with these wild salaries given out (Donald, Stafford, Kupp, etc) he is still in the black. It could be he is in the red football-team-wise and just doesn't care. It could be that the "small market" billionaire owner is taking profits and claiming CAP poverty. Any way you slice it, the cap is accounting as he says.

Fitz will almost certainly go out as a Bill. He has been on record as saying playing in Buffalo was his favorite stint. And now Tyrod knows how many more helmets he needs for the record.
