  1. Well that certainly was a game. It is the one that I've enjoyed the most in a month, but even that couldn't be clean. There was so much that I had to rattle off first impressions The Good This was the gameplan that TBD members have been calling for. Josh was allowed to run in brief spots. They played with tempo. They had rhythm for the first time in a month. Wrinkles will be needed, but I think we have the general formula. 1st TD for Dalton Kincaid! Today was the coming out party and he's earned it. He looked every bit what we hoped for in the offseason. We've needed a safety valve, and I think he looks the part once the Bills allowed him to be. Sam Martin. While I didn't love all the times the Bills punted away, Martin made it a smart call. 3 punts within the 10, 2 punts within the 5, and the last one should have been at the 2. I prefer not having him be a player of interest, but he's doing good work. Shakir looks like a viable #4 WR these last few weeks. It's good to know, if the Bills get David walk. Terrel Bernard was all over the field. While losing Milano is devastating, I was legitimately calling MLB our defensive position of weakness before the season started and Bernard is playing at a Pro Bowl level right now. The Bad I need someone to run some analytics about out efficiency running out of shotgun. Because whenever I notice that we've done so, it's been a catastrophe. I'll give Dorsey flowers overall, but there was no reason not to tush push Josh at the goal line. If you worried about his health, hand it off to Harris, but don't make the distance longer. The Irritating Once again, the refs seems to be the MVP of a game. I saw something like 20 penalties called, and a bunch were backbreakers. To me, the second drive extending 4th down penalty is inexcusable. Phillps has Mayfield, a QB who has shown that he will throw the ball away in the process of being sacked and have magic happen, wrapped up. Mayfield is being driven backwards. Forward progress has stopped. The play isn't blown dead. Phillips can either smash a defenseless QB, let him make a play or do his best to wrap him up. He chose 3, and had incidental facemask contact making the tackle. It had no effect on the play. It certainly had no effect on reversing a 4th and long and turning it into a 1st and 10. Again. Tonight is the 1st night in many years when the refs lost a game. Our time management. Why are we calling timeouts at the worst spots? My stream resolution was... To compare it to a virus filled pirate stream is an insult to the pirates
  2. WHAT IS WITH OUT TIMEOUT USAGE
  3. refs are the buccs MVP and they are still losing
  4. The Buccs have gotten a lot of lucky breaks with chancy throws, barely avoided sacks, the Bills losing two beautiful returns and they are still down by 14. that's how much better we are playing
  5. Bernard looking good again tonight
  6. no, that means he was going to be on the field. There are ways to use him there
  7. Why were we not using Kincaid again?
  8. I mean so far, I have seen nothing that tells me that if we let Gabe walk in the offseason that we get a significant downgrade from Shakir
  9. Man I love seeing Kincaid get his first TD. But can we retire the shotgun QB draw? It Does. Not. Work.
  10. Why can't we have nice things?
  11. Mine is terrible. I'd think I was using a pirate site never mind the one by one of the biggest in the world
  12. Yeah these refs are definitely giving the Bucs slack
  13. Are you kidding me? How many times do our opponents get an extra second and a half?
  14. There now can people stop complaining that the Bills got lucky on red zone refball last week
  15. Let's get back on track!
  16. There once was a team from Nantucket Who all said Josh will just chuck it So they went with Mac Jones Who just can't read zones Now their fans all shout "f*** it!"
  17. There is a point to be made though: the Bills have made a pointed attempt to limit Josh Allen runs. This helps his long term health. However, that does limit some of the read option/RPO plays the team had success with in the past. If teams are keeping a spy on Allen that's one less active player in coverage. I'm not saying we have Josh truck the ball up the middle 10 times a game. Murray and Cook are looking effective. But maybe 2-3 times a game to keep defenses honest Definitely in favor of continuing to hand it off. Cook and Murray are doing just fine as primary RB focus. I don't hate doing a few Josh runs to make the rest of the run/pass threat to be a thing again but we might be saving it for the Eagles/Chiefs/Cowboys stretch
  18. The offense so broken it's 3rd in the league for points per game? inconsistent? Oh hell yes
  19. Run game is working. Let's use it. I know Kincaid was out for the game, but Dorsey seems allergic to using him (and Knox for that matter) for anything more than sparingly. Kincaid has gotten free and made catches often when given the chance. I'm mystified as to how he isn't a bigger option with Davis being as lackluster as he's been
  20. Bluntly: if you don't watch in real time and look at the slow motion then yes it is DPI. But this group of refs was going "let 'em play" when the Giants receivers were lunging to trip up the Bills players well before the ball got there.
  21. Agree. People complain about the blue on blue but I think the color rush looks like a big pj onesie
  22. That's always with Collingsworth
  23. I'm sorry, what? How are the refs not calling this stuff? Lunging because you can't keep up and tackling before the ball is thrown is somehow NOT pass interference?
  24. This was probably buried in the "break in case Jim Jordan gets close to real power" cabinet
  25. I can't say a particularly disagree with anything you say. No matter how Hamas came to be in charge, I can't really dispute that they effectively control Gaza. Not only do I think that Israel has a right to defend itself, the US is hard pressed for allies in the region and I don't think it's feasible to abandon them regardless of the moral imperative. The question I grapple with is "what do you do?" Even if I were to swallow the moral horror of killing and/or forcefully relocating the population equivalent to Houston, do you actually get to peace from that? The Saudis are 5th in the world in military spending (that we sell them) and they are backing Palestine, never mind Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Iraq and Iran. Who is going to stop them if the US doesn't intervene? Will the US intervene? Should the US intervene? We have people here saying we should get out of Ukraine when that's a war they didn't pick. I think some of the "rah rah just kill em all" faction have never asked the question or don't care
