  1. Yeah, pretty much. The best thing I can think of is to bring back McGee to cheapshot Brady to take him out of the game. If nothing is going to work, I'm going to go with the option that seeing Brady with his face in the dirt, taking hard shots. And not because he's hired a male prostitute.
  2. CBS did go directly to the other game...but in all fairness, really, that ball was an interception. They showed the replay enough to make it painfully obvious that an INT was indeed what had transpired (which it totally was, from beginning to end. Not even close to debate). And come on, was CBS going to spend more time on the Bills then they had to?
  3. Agreed. I don't think anyone want him taking away Fred Jackson's job right now. But compare CJ Spiller at Game 2 of this season with Game 2 of last season. If he can continue to improve, I honestly think that he will be an asset in the coming years.
  4. IDK...the Raiders D-line isn't half bad. I don't think that pass rush has been an area they struggled with, but the Bills O-line has had one sack in two games and our running backs jammed 200 yards down their throat, plus what Fitz and Brad Smith scrambled for. Not bad. Not bad at all.
  5. I'm still not happy at how our D did. But for keeping his cool when everything seemed to be going wrong I do think we have to give Chan and Fitz credit. They stayed calm and kept us in there.
  6. Freddy got most of the handoffs, but when CJ touched the ball, usually good things happened. I didn't see too may negative runs, or have him run back and get tackled for a loss. While Freddy is here to stay for a while, I think CJ showed that Chan wasn't nuts when we drafted him.
  7. Sadly, I have to agree with bladie. If that is how our secondary looks against the Raiders, we are going to be *SHREDDED* by Brady.
  8. Oh yeah. The Raiders were saying that they had won. I guess that message got *pulls on sunglasses* Intercepted. YEEEAAAHHHHHHH!!!!
  9. I second the need for heart medication. My heart was hammering in my chest from the moment the Raiders scored their last touchdown. But we pulled it out in the end...which is what winning teams do. GO BILLS!
  10. Well, we actually have to do that first. THEN I shall delight at taking a piss at the non-believers with you.
  11. Oh, they're better. We'll see exactly how good they really are later, but against a team we lost a squeaker to last season we staged an utter slaughterfest. We'll see what happens when they plays the Pats and Jets.
  12. Ok, so I'm kind of thrilled at our results today. But I always like to temper what I've seen with reason. Things I liked least: Thigpen...well, he wasn't exactly given starters but if Fitz goes down I'll be worried. Brad Smith's INT. Yeah, he isn't there to be a passer, but if we don't at least threaten a throw our Wildcat will be quickly countered. Things I Liked: Our Wildcat EVERY OTHER TIME. It completes short third downs, which means extended drives, which means second chances for TD's and keeping our guys off the field. Chandler-the man was a breakout. Even the threat of a game like today is going to force teams to tear up their current coverage assignments. Fitz-what can you say? 68% completion rate, over 200 yards, Four TD's, 0 INTERCEPTIONS. It's pretty hard to knock that. Thing I love the most: This week, the Bills currently have the biggest point differential.
  13. Bought a twelve-pack of beer, a gallon of cider and got wings. I need to keep going this. You know, to make sure we keep winning.
  14. I remember a few weeks ago reading a commentator's concern over losing "young talent" like Poz. HAAA!!!
  15. Not too crazy about the long bomb into double coverage, but the man got FIRST DOWNS!!! The Wildcat was gloriously successful today and I hope we can keep bringing it back as an ace in the hole.
  16. Well, if you're right then probably something about chewing the heads off kittens while talking about how the Raiders are going to absolutely destroy us.
  17. I hope so. It seems that he's very grounded about the win. Yes, we looked great but no one saw us coming and we still have to see how we do against a top tier team. I won't brag until we beat the Pats
  18. I do think we need to take into account that NO ONE expected Chandler. I mean, there wasn't anyone NEAR him on his second touchdown. The CBS commentators were practically APOLOGIZING to Chan about bringing up our lack of production at TE. You can bet your ass that Oakland will be guarding Chandler next week. But even then, we still win. It was when they pulled people to guard Chandler that they pulled guys off Stevie and Donny. The more people we force them to guard, the more people Fitz has to throw to. Great game Chandler
  19. I couldn't watch any of the game, it wasn't on the air. Thought I will be watching the entire thing on rebroadcast later
  20. Agreed. If Fitz throws with 92% accuracy, that's the kind of doom I can live with.
  21. My uncle is a Buffalo expatriate living in Lawrence. Gates is pretty good, but I never got to try Arthur Bryants so I can't say. Wherever you go, try the Burnt Ends. Kansas is all about beef and burnt ends are the best part of the brisket. It has a higher fat content, so it takes longer to get really tender but it has that much more flavor.
  22. So we lose Poz and hire Barnett. We then lose Torbor and hire Morrison. All we need now is for each member of the O-line except for Wood to go down.
  23. I really hope that our best O-line people aren't the ones who we dredge out from the cuts. Awww who am I kidding?
  24. I paraphrase the Boondock Saints II: Whenever a person says "no offense" it means what they do say is rather offensive. Now if Maybin winds up alright for the Jets I'll be happy for him. He's not the first player who's gotten better after we left. But personally I doubt it, and one sack in a preseason game...well, let's not stop the presses.
