  1. My one concern here is that Bradford isn't a FA yet. Unless the Rams trade him, we don't get him and that's a lot of contract to eat.
  2. I'm thrilled. I rarely get to watch a game at home where I live. The last one was the TNF game, and I've done my best to erase that from my memory
  3. +1. The man has a sense of humor. Carry on Q!
  4. I do kind of find Ortons reputation as a hard drinking, chewing QB (who smokes victory cigars) kind of funny. It makes me think of a 20's Era leatherhead
  5. I'm...sticking with a big "who cares? " Yeah it's not good for you, but he's a grown man.
  6. I remember watching his two big catches and going "who the hell is that?!?" No one in the bar with me recognized him. Those were two really great catches and I hope we use him more.
  7. This was my problem too. Had Marrone been forced to challenge (presumably after watching the replay and saying "are you f'n kidding me?") And the refs wouldn't overturn it that would be one thing. Reversing a call on the field that the replay expert thought was cut and dry... It wouldn't annoy me as much if we didn't hear so much about JF's one decent drive
  8. Whitner? Yeah he's getting a chorus of boos. Pettine...I don't think any of us hates him and I think most of us are satisfied with Schwartz
  9. I don't like the idea of disqualifying everyone, especially since you might wind up in a really competitive division. I do think, as some have suggested, that we add one more Wild Card team and eliminating the bye week for the #2 seed. That would eliminate teams just coasting at #2 when there is something to play for, would give the best Wild Card team a favorable match-up and would make the league a **** ton more money.
  10. I'm shocked that people think Foles is going to be traded. Yes, he's had a bit of a down year, but that's part of the bumps in the road that make a young QB grow. No one, not even Foles, thought that he was going to replicate his TD:INT ratio from last year, and that was before they let Desean Jackson go. What I keep being reminded of on Philly radio is that with Foles, their only losses were against the 49ers and the Cardinals, both played on the road in the west coast, with each game coming down the the wire. Meanwhile, Sanchez came in to finish off Foles job against the Texans, beat up on two bad teams (Titans and a hobbled Cam Newton) and got steamrolled by Packers. Foles is the guy when he comes back from injury.
  11. Ehh, typical junk programming.
  12. Hughes, especially if Bryce Brown is looking like a legit option.
  13. Good point. Does anyone have the numbers on Orton's screen accuracy? I don't remember seeing Sammy doing a lot of them so I would love to see him getting in on some Sunday.

  15. I would note that that's from last year, right around the time that EJ roasted them.
  16. That is the reason. NE had trouble but they also have really bad WRs to take advantage. The Jets do have a great Run D as well as us. If it comes to airing it out I like where we stand.
  17. I honestly don't think that the Jets are as bad as their record. To be fair, they've already played the same teams we're looking at in our December to dread. That said they HAVE lost to two teams we best. There's a reason they're 1-6. I see this being a close game but if there ever was a time to bring back the hurry up West Coast offense we were promised this is it.
  18. Last I heard Freddie was 2-4 weeks and was looking to be back for KC
  19. I don't think anyone looked at our injured RB situation last year and said "Man, it would be a bad idea to have a quality insurance policy at RB considering how much we run it" FJ has been shocking good so far, but this looks like exactly the doomsday scenario that we are prepped to deal with. I'm curious to see what Brown can do for you.
  20. I consider this a mark of how this season is different than the ones we've recently seen. We have gotten so used to blowing games at the last moment. Normally WE are the side which allows an 80 yard touchdown drive for the win with no time left. Whatever fair criticisms which come up otherwise, this is one that has been fixed so far this year.
  21. Sammy. As much of a Sammy skeptic I am, oh dear god Sammy. Two touchdowns, including the clutch winning score.... I may be eating crow
  22. I would also say there there is no such thing as an ugly win. They are uniquely beautiful, in the way that they cause the opposing team to freak out in special ways.
  23. The old Bills have a history of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. It's nice to see it the other way around for once.
  24. The first injury report is due Wednesday. They were both limited on Friday and doubtful to play. Assuming that they are able to practice Wednesday even if limited there's a good chance at least one plays.
