  1. Yeah, like many I suspect Miller will be at LG. His area of strength is his run blocking, and Incognito has the flexibility to do both, so I'd put him on the side where we run the ball to. I also agree that Graham will probably slide to something like a CB/FS hybrid. I honestly think safety is an underappreciated position, so I see zero problems with putting a talented player with great ball skills but is a touch slower as a center fielder.
  2. I agree it's nice to talk actual play rather than draft prospects. And Shady, despite his rep as a guy who dances, is not Spiller. He has far better vision and toughness. Seeing the holes in these blocking schemes, I think Shady might have another record season.
  3. It really will be. The Marrone/Hackett combination was trying to be a hurry up, West Coast offense which didn't have a QB with great accuracy which then got slowed down because we kept playing good offenses. I wanted a new OC before Marrone left, and I would have been ok with having Roman brought in as HC. I really think Roman is one of the best choices for what we have: a run first team with a stable of running backs, and a line of relatively slow maulers, and QBs who should be expected to be game managers.
  4. I'm really confused by this. Granted, Rex managed to come on 6th overall last year with some of the worst DB play in the league, but his front 7 was amazing. The Patriots were average on defense last year despite playing some of the worst offenses (The Jets and Bills) twice a year, and that was before losing Wilfork, Revis and Browner. The idea of cutting the next man down for so little money.. I don't get it.
  5. Great stuff Yolo. I can definitely see Clay and O'Leary acting as the H-back blockers there. I'd love to see Shady with a hole like that.
  6. Hey, I'm happy and I think this helps. But I'm a Bills fan...I'm used to us snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. The last time I tried to circle a win in advance it was against the Raiders, and we remember that game...as hard as I try to forget it.
  7. Yeah... Last year week 17 was Marrone throwing all he had against Brady without the Pats** best offensive weapons and any compelling reason to try. 17-9 does not fill me with an abundance of confidence.
  8. Pretty much this. If Dareus, one of our best players, is suspended for the season opener do you think that Andrew Luck is going to hang his head and say, "Man, I really wanted to show up those pass rushers"? It's a team game. Week 2 is hardly a lock to win.
  9. Look, if people want to make the argument of, "Oh, we want to beat Brady at his best!" Well congraut-u-f*cking-lations, you're going to get the chance on MNF, on the road against a pissed off Brady.Quit your bitching. In the meanwhile, I shall heartily enjoy the idea of NOT playing Brady.
  10. We're Bills fans. We hope for the best all while expecting the worst. That said, Jimmy boy is not Brady. I fully expect our defense to spend the game double teaming Gronk and forcing Jimmy to make magic happen. Assuming no appeal shortens the punishment past two games, this is big for the Bills.
  11. Honestly? If Brady gets suspended, I would love a primetime viewing of the Patriots being handed their own asses, probably with the camera's constantly panning to a pouting Brady in a box all night.
  12. Yeah, I'll take them too Joking aside, even average QB play should get us to the playoffs.
  13. I think he thinks "Double TE formations. GROUND AND POUND!"
  14. I never thought I would say this but thank God Bryce Brown fumbled that football
  15. I just saw a rumor from csen that the Pats are worried about a 6-8 week suspension.
  16. Yeah, that's a rough break. I'm not a doctor and I don't play on TV, but the way he just dropped made me think ACL.
  17. True. I've seen some of the run plays Roman has drawn up. Some are things of beauty.
  18. But...but, he's a CB! We're supposed to hate him because he's not OL!
  19. Short answer: based on what he did with Kaepernick, yes. Longer answer: Assuming that EJ or TT win the starting job, I really see us in good position to run a lot of Pistol. That formation base set runs as such: -3 WR or 2 WR & 1 TE (Sammy, Woods, Harvin and Clay) -Feature RB (Shady primarily, but spelled by presumably Freddy, Dixon and Karlos) -A backfield HB, who can be used as a blocker and backfield receiver option (Clay, Felton and probably Freddy) He probably has something for Cassel, but that would give a lot of combinations with read option, lead blocker running, jet sweeps from Harvin, screens to Shady and Clay, putting Clay in motion as a 4th recover and breaking out in 5 wide to spice things up.
  20. Oh, I totally agree. This was much more serious. But I don't want to hear "cheating is cheating" and then people squak if something happens just because it's us.
  21. Just for the record, this is the same group who will dismiss Rex's little trip to Baton Rouge. Even if he didn't break the letter of the law, he certainly did break the spirit, and I'm ok with that. That said, I hope Brady gets nailed.
  22. I highly doubt this. Jeff Laurie has put his complete faith in Chip to the point where Chip got to play GM. I don't see Chop walking away from that kind of power.
  23. I have to think that, if anything happens, it'll be over the cover up rather than the crime. If Brady had kept quiet and let the investigation play out there wouldn't be so much hubbub. Instead, he straight up denied it, and lied to Beli about it. Belicheck backed his QB and Kraft demanded an apology. Is it Christmas?
  24. I'm pretty sure the hammer isn't going to be brought down, but the report has made me laugh more than I have I'm days.
  25. Yeah, that $100K fine looming must have Mr. Pegula shaking in his boots. Yeah, it's kind of a silly rule since it even applies to people who dropped out like Collins.
