  1. Ehh, Brown is good enough on the outside to be a poor teams #1 and can also play the slot. My memory of Still is just a slot guy. If I'm wrong, and Still can be an outside #2, then god bless, get some cap space to sign Milano.
  2. I needed that. Kyle Brandt is one of us now
  3. Thanks. Well Stills is still on the practice squad. I really hope it's because Beasley is 100%
  4. Do we know when inactives will be announced? I want to know if we are putting Stills out there Edit: no way Stills is out there
  5. Oh, believe me, I *want* tighter regulation on big business. I want monopolies broken up. The problem is, the only people pushing for that are the Progressives. The Trump regime engaged in gobsnacking amounts of corruption, pay to play, corporate stooging and the entire GOP funding model is dependent on the mega rich donating to PACs due to the Citizens United ruling (made by a GOP majority Supreme Court) This election was about chemo before trying to cut out the tumor. I dearly wanted one of them in office rather than Biden, but the overwhelming problem was that we have an existential threat to Democracy. We just witnessed lunatics storm the Capitol chanting about the threat "communism". They've been fed a steady diet of garbage from "alternative" media sources that are too crazy for Fox News. Maybe the left isn't perfect, but if you are complaining about elites and corporate oligarchs maybe you should support the people who oppose them instead of, ya know, enabling them.
  6. That the reason why you don't see police breaking up right wing riots at the capital is the same reason why you never see Clark Kent and Superman at the same time. Rhino got banned? I mean I'm not sad, other than I missed it going down
  7. Taking this from a friend who said it well: “Your partner blind drunk tries to kill you, then the next day they’re crying outside your door begging you to forgive them, but, if you let them in you need to then shut up about the whole attempted murder business, they were blind drunk, they don’t remember, so why are you being such a B word, stop talking about it.” For the party of "personal responsibility" the GOP is bad at accountability. You know that Foreign Policy is a Center-Right publication, right?
  8. That depends, has he realized his mistake and come around? Because most doubled down as a dangerous corrupt con man with dreams of autocracy ***** the bed for four years. Vast swaths have deluded themselves with conspiracy theories. They are liabilities, not assets
  9. For people saying it's crazy, there has been a continual decline over the past three years since. From what I am hearing, the "told what to do" is regarding his coaching choices and the QB situation. From a local perspective: Carson Wentz was having an MVP season before he went down and Foles won the SB. He was still very good, especially last year when the Eagles were running on fumes. The issue has been that Doug won using heavy RPO with Foles, and has really tried to make that a thing. Carson Wentz was more like Josh in his second year, someone who did better when able to make plays at the line and improvise when things fell apart. He struggled in the system that worked well for Foles. Looking at it now, Carson has big money on his contract. It would be back breaking to move on from him. The relationship between HC and franchise QB is incredibly important. Things have gotten so bad that Wentz wasn't activated in the last game of the season. The decision to put in Sudfeld when the game was on the line annoyed a lot of the veterans on the team because no one told them the plan was to tank. The whole thing is a toxic mess.
  10. I've gotten a close view over the last few years. Please no. There was an immediate drop off with the departure of Reich, and we've seen what he's been doing over in Indy. I watched him going from "Big Balls Doug" for going for it on 4th and long to punting on the opponent's side of the field in his own half. He does not compromise. His SB season, they told him he needed to run it more, and he did and they had great success, but since then he just has not made adjustments from what won him a championship even though he no longer had those pieces to work with. I would rather that we try to promote someone in house before trying Dougie P. Please let him go to the Jets, and let them be mired in irrelevance for eternity.
  11. You're right, and models always have the caveat that they are drawing from the data they have and there is risk of an incomplete set. But maaaaaaan those margins were off
  12. After the election, everything 538 does needs to be taken with a grain of salt
  13. I didn't get to watch the second half due to my family screwing with my Sling account, but I'm amazed that the Ravens only out less than 200 in the air vs the Titans. They seem to have trouble passing when they can't play action. If I'm Frazier, I'm putting a spy on Jackson all game, loading the box and daring Jackson to beat us with his arm. Basically, what the Ravens just did to the Titans. If they go heavy man coverage and blitz, I see a lot of Isiah McKenzie, screens and quick shots to Diggs
  14. How awesome is it that we have a rookie 4th round pick able to contribute like this? It's great that he gets to learn from some of the best at the position while not being forced to be "the guy" his rookie year.
  15. I honestly do not get the complaints or "this doesn't feel like a win" Yes, there are things to clean up but the Colts had the perfect combination of our achilles heels: powerful run game, a powerful O-line vs our average D-line, and a D-line that could get pressure without letting up on coverage. The Titans have a better run game but has a terrible secondary. The Ravens have an even worse pass game than the Jets. We already showed what we can do vs the Steelers. Obviously, we have to show up. But no one we could face next week is flawless. Playoffs are about giving each other a punch in the mouth and seeing who can adjust Today, we did. Our coaching staff has shown me nothing to say that the can't be ready.
  16. I kind of find it false equivalence to go "both sides are extreme" when one got their asses beat for asking "Hey, can there be real consequences when cops kill an unarmed person?" And "Are you going to do anything about these Nazis" while the other just went through a deadly seizure of our legislature in an attempt to overturn an election. TLDR? You're full of ***** and you should feel bad
  17. I don't think I can overstate how much I disagree on Trump policies. I think trickle down economics is a fools dream. The Wall was the dumbest possible way to go about a flawed premise. Unilaterally torpedoing the Iran deal actually speeds up their nuclear proliferation and was a blow for diplomatic solutions. I believe science and climate change and think we have to act now. Police militarization is out of control and their authority and weaponry needs to be walked back. So I would be incredibly opposed to Trump politically even if he was the most genial man alive. The fact that he went out of his way to be an unapologetic a-hole, filled a cabinet with corporate shills to plundered their way to further riches on the taxpayer dime, gave his children special treatment in their businesses, forced the secret service to stay at his personal hotels so they would be billed and refused to denounce white supremacists who had run over people meant that at the start of 2020 I was ready to drag the corpse of FDR into the seat because it couldn't possibly do any more harm. Then Covid happened. The one time when he could have done the bare minimum, or just...not spoken and let others do their jobs and he had to douse us all in salt water and stick his dick in a wall socket. People don't love Biden because he's great. They love him because Trump is historically bad at his job and for the country. Literally. I expect Trump to be treated like Herbert Hoover.
  18. ...dude, I think you don't appreciate how little progressives like Joe Biden. He is pretty much dead last in choices in the primary, which I didn't vote in because our primary system is effed up and it was decided before I had a chance. The cast majority of people I know we're "hold your nose and vote for Biden" rather than a cult following. His success is only due to Trump's gross, gross incompetence and corruption
  19. No one is going to celebrate a police killing. What is noticable that police have treated these chuckleheads with kid gloves compared to the unmitigated brutality used at the BLM protests this summer. We watched in DC as reporters observing were assaulted on the grounds on a church so Trump gets a photo op with a Bible. We are not so much celebrating the death of a right winger. We are instead noting that it turns out tear gas isn't necessary when a mob is breaching the doors to threaten the people inside, so why did they need to use it this summer.
  20. Indeed. I mean "hey we dumped our stocks before the market bombed and then didn't give people COVID-19 relief" should have been immediately disqualifying. Trump's mishandling of everything pandemic related is the single biggest reason for Democrat success
  21. I mean it certainly did not hurt Oshoff and Warnock that Mitch, Trump and Cruz went out of their way to show the kind of dysfunctional mess they are and the consequences of keeping them in power.
  22. Hear hear! I got everything I had hoped for: Allen stayed in rythym, Brown got up to speed, the defense looked great, Gabe Davis got 100 yards. Our depth looks great. I could not ask for more.
