Biggest potential variations are in how many of each position you can start each week, and also if it's a PPR (point per reception) league. If it is a PPR league, players will get some points for # of receptions, whereas non-ppr leagues just count yardage and actual scoring.

I agree 100%. Summary: EJ didn't do enough last year to prove that he is the guy. He wasn't a disaster either and is going to get another shot this year. Everything else is just noise.

Except I haven't seen anything at all to question his work ethic or maturity. He ran offseason workouts for receivers, and he's been described as an early in late out kind of guy over and over. Captains need to do that stuff, but in order to be effective, they also need to prove they can get it done on the field. If and when he does that, he'll be a captain.

Have you heard a player get asked to support EJ? Under what circumstances do you expect them to come out and defend him? Just out of nowhere? That would be weird. Have you heard any player come out and defend Seantrel Henderson, or Nickell Robey? They haven't, right, because it would be weird. Because there's nothing to defend at this point. You're making **** up just to stir the pot, and it's !@#$ing annoying. Is it just me, or is this getting into crusade territory?

These are all guys who have proven themselves as Pros. I expect EJ will be named a captain if and when he does the same.

I don't think he's suggesting that it's a problem, only that those who have made up their mind about EJ will see it as further proof of their opinion.
