  1. Agreements in bold. Lynch is close. With any line to speak of, he's certainly a top-10 talent.
  2. My grandmothers have better knees. And they're both dead.
  3. A little off topic, but I see McKelvin eventually becoming a top-10 corner, and I think we'll see huge strides this season.
  4. I was saying his middle name doesn't matter in the least. A poor attempt at sarcasm in this thread, I suppose.
  5. It was nothing more than an unsubstantiated rumor to begin with, wasn't it?
  6. If I remember correctly, The Chroise is who actually personally built the Iowa arena Warner eventually starred in, no?
  7. Too bad that team played in a dome, had a good coach, started zero rookies on the offensive line and had a defensive line whose starters alone accounted for more than 30 sacks.
  8. Long ago, the Earth's rotation actually began when The Chroise decided to run in place.
  9. Yes, he should check his facts before he writes something like that. But I gotta give him credit for calling himself out on it. The batting average comment was douchebaggery at its worst, though.
  10. There it is. I would hope so, Dick. I would hope so.
  11. I talked to a Panthers fan yesterday. I told him the Panthers sucked. He said the Bills sucked. We went our separate ways.
  12. Don't try to get Xs and Os on me, guy. I coach high school football. I understand the game. I drive a Dodge Stratus! I just don't like to see him described as a "playmaker." Ed Reed is a playmaker. Kerry Rhodes is a playmaker. Troy Polamalu is a playmaker. I have no problem if you want to describe Whitner as a good safety. I guess it depends on what your definition of a playmaker is. If your definition of a playmaker is someone who "makes nice tackles" and is largely innocuous, then sure, he's a playmaker.
  13. Sweet, our playmaker makes nice tackles. Lord, I'm done.
  14. Explain to me what the Bills' system has to do with his supposed "playmaker" status. That's all I was pointing out. I'm by no means a Whitner hater, I've just never seen him make many big plays.
  15. At least describing Kerry Rhodes as a "playmaker" isn't completely off base, as it is with Whitner. Although I have no idea why Rhodes is ranked behind Whitner. Eh, whatever.
  16. Doesn't take away from the fact that he's described as a playmaker in the article.
  17. You see them crossing 438 every-so often on the Rez.
  18. I was going to say him too, until I realized he was a five-time Pro Bowler.
  19. Dude -- Losman was pretty good. Sincerely, Opposite Man
  20. I prefer the more raw stuff. And "Through Being Cool" -- although great -- isn't even in my top three as far as Saves the Day albums go. "Can't Slow Down" is possibly my favorite album. Ever. I was a senior in high school when that came out and completely defined that summer. "Stay What You Are" and -- believe it or not -- "In Reverie" are my others for them. "Something to Write Home About" is great, but a bit too plodding for me at times.
  21. How could I forget that album? Amazing. Still though, "Four Minute Mile" is their masterpiece.
