  1. I don't really know why you typed any of that out. I said, we all agree he ISN'T the answer. You're right. He sucked in those four games. BUT, I said, if you compare those with Trent's they'll appear better. That's how we're skewing it. Simply comparing it to Trent's.
  2. Did you stop and think why Fitz-mania 2009 took a tour stop at OBD? Maybe it's because we haven't had a quarterback in 13 years. Maybe, we all realize that this dude isn't the answer, but he has a four game win streak, and its not exactly challenging to skew his stats versus Trent's to make him appear amazing. I'm pretty sure that no one honestly is happy Fitzpatrick is starting, we're all just trying to stay positive about this whole thing. You should try it.
  3. Really? I thought Fitzpatrick went a bajillion and 0 last season.
  4. Dude...The Bengals, bro. They were not good last year. Not good.
  5. "Fitzpatrick played his first NFL game on November 27, 2005. Coming into the game in the second quarter against the Houston Texans to replace an injured Jamie Martin, Fitzpatrick lead the Rams from a 24-3 halftime deficit to a 33-27 overtime win, throwing for 310 yards and three touchdowns. This made Fitzpatrick one of only five players who passed for 300 yards in their NFL debut. The others were Otto Graham, 346 yards (1950); Ed Rubbert, 334 (a replacement player for the Washington Redskins during the 1987 strike); Mark Rypien, 303 (1988), and Peyton Manning, 302 (1998)." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ryan_Fitzpatrick
  6. http://www.cowboystickets.com/parking.html Dallas parking is $200.
  7. Aside from the recent "TO drops the football" topics, this may actually be the most obvious/useless post I've ever read.
  8. You're absolutely right! I get so distracted on sundays that it hadn't occurred to me at all the TO has made some drops. I'm really surprised by this too, ya know. He definitely hasn't made a career out of this, so it's pretty shocking! Great observation, keep 'em coming.
  9. As Bill Parcells once said, "When you don't know that you don't know, it's a lot different than when you do know that you don't know."
  10. Quarterback.
  11. You answered that in your own post. Instead of raising money he made a steal on Toronto... Honestly Bills can't have it both ways. I think financially, you're right...Ralph is crying poor...but its not him crying poor financially from the Bills, he's crying poor market. I believe that's toned down since the Toronto sale. He only really only complained since the Toronto sale is that he "had" to make the sale because of our market. It's all a move by Ralph to justify the Bills...I wouldn't worry about this at all.
  12. I don't want to play devil's advocate too much, because in this case we're essentially referring to the devil... BUT... I guarantee that no coach has a winning record against teams with 11+ wins. Think about it. After that, I implore you to look up a more meaningful stat... compare his victories between teams that finished 4-7 wins, vs. 8-11 wins. That will net you a real undeniable discrepancy.
  13. That's what I mean. He's like a little child still awake while the adults are trying to discuss something that isn't about mickey mouse. Can't we send him up to his room? I get that it's just a big joke, and he's not doing much but filling up space, but he ruined what could've been a decent little debate. No one wanted to talk about anything because he plagued the crap out of the thread. It's hard to talk about the topic when the previous 5 posts were irrelevant youtube links.
  14. How does "dude i'm getting a dellapelle" not get booted? How many rules do you need to break?
  15. We do support the team at our ticket prices...what are you going on about? Teams don't make their money off of ticket sales. If they do, it's off of their luxury boxes. This post, and your polemic are fairly irrelevant, as our ticket prices have no relation to the possibility of the team moving.
  16. Thanks for posting, that was good for a solid laugh.
  17. What a strange comment.
  18. I agree... you touched on the fundamentals of football. But, from what I can see, the offensive line was a non-factor, as explained in my post. I'm telling you, it's the quarterback, not the line. The Steelers win despite their horrid line. I'm just looking forward to knowing that perhaps if we get a real QB someday in the near future we could put points up on the board.
  19. I'm definitely not one of Trent's supporters, but he throws the ball a lot better than Fitz.
  20. Spot on post right there.
  21. Seems about right.
  22. Maybe we should create a system where we have Scott and Whitner in on 1st and 2nd down, and a quarter package on third down with whitner in the middle?
  23. Not really. Anderson had a 2007 season that is still better than all of Trent's career combined. Against us he had like 9 dropped passes, and was playing without his only threat after that bizarre trade. Basically, if you give a gunslinger like Anderson TO and Evans...who knows what could happen. He could have a 2007 like performance, or a 2008 Losman like performance... regardless, thats a chance I'd be willing to take considering we KNOW what were getting with trentative checkwards
  24. That was a good laugh. Nice try. I would take almost all of them over Trent. And you know its bad when your only supporters are defending you by saying: Hey, at least he's better than... 5 other QBs.
