  1. I hear Rae Carruth may be coming up for a parole hearing soon? Maybe we can bring him in and put our future in his hands.
  2. I can't think of one player who has been suspended multiple times by his team, arrested multiple times, is approaching T.O. status as a clubhouse cancer, much less a dozen of them. I am waiting for you to name a couple and I will give it to you, because you sure aren't going to name a dozen or so.
  3. Not only NO but H*LL NO! I have been down here in Virginia for over 15 years now due to a career in the military and have been hearing about Burress since he was a high schooler at Green Run High School in Virginia Beach. He as been trouble since then. When he was on the Steelers, probably 6 or 7 years ago, the advertised the annual Bruce Smith Celebrity Golf Classic as Bruce's, Burress' and Darren Perry. I worked on the course for about 5 years of this tournament with the Bills Backers down here, and come day of the tournament, no one could even find him to show up for his own tournament. Shortly after that, he was to appear in court for a DUI, and didn' t show up for court. His reason, get ready for this-"He already had plans". You don't want this idiot anywhere Buffalo, we have enough problems now fielding a winner, we don't need a locker room cancer to boot.
  4. He might be the only person that could make the 0-16 Lions worse than they already are.
  5. I have been a Bills fan for nearly 40 years, but I have to admit, he is only saying what the majority of people are thinking. Outside of one opening day where we shut them out (they went on to win the Super Bowl that year-I'll trade anyday), they have dominated us for years.
  6. Great point, but I can think of one other Patriot that was whining for more money-Lawyer Milloy. They cut him right before week one because they didn't wanna hear his complaining. I'll tell ya, I cant stomach the Cheatriots or Belicheat, but I wish more organizations handled those situations like that.
  7. Teams don't give up first round picks for perennial Pro Bowlers anymore, much less a good safety who has a world of potential. The Bears got what, a 4th or 5th round pick for Thomas Jones-a Pro Bowler this year who is leading the AFC in rushing. If he was to be traded, probably a low 3rd or high 4th round pick is the most you will get, and if you did you would only be diminishing the talent on this team. Wilson and Youbouty are good role players, but will never amount to what Whitner does when it is all said and done.
  8. Josh Reed. Despite talk around the Bills publications and media of him maybe not even making the team out of camp with the drafting of a few recievers (who for the most part have not panned out yet-still hope). He was all but dismissed from having a chance to still be the #2 wideout going into camp, if he did make the team. It seems like about 90% of the time when we get a clutch reception on 3rd and long, it is usually Josh Reed. When a drive is on the line and we do actually succeed, it is often Josh Reed.
  9. Does Levy owe you money or something or are you smoking something? What about Donahues drafts? Let's see McGahee or Lynch-no comparison, Lynch anyday. Losman or Edwards, at this point, no question-Edwards anyday-especially considering they gave up half of a years draft for the right to pick Losman. That trade to Dallas comes in second only to the Herschel Walker trade as the best in Cowboy history. Lynch below average? What is average-if going over 1,000 yards each of first two season is below average. The Whitner pick was surprising when it happened, but he is one of the better safeties in the AFC, just a notch below Pro Bowl. How about the pick of Mike Williams, maybe the biggest bust in Bills history. Look at last years draft alone, we have at least 3 starters from one draft in Lynch, Edwards and Posluzny, all will be here awhile. Anytime you can do that, the draft is a major success. The Bills haven't been able to stop the run since they left Pat Williams go, and there was probably no player in recent memory who wanted to stay in Buffalo as much as he did.
  10. With Aaron Schobel out, I don't think David Copperfield could make our DE's better.
  11. Is that a goal he set for himself before the season started? Josh Reed has to be nearing Sam Aikens stats from last year too?
  12. That would be awesome. How about a big ceremony to announce it and also make Rob Johnson the Offensive Coordinator, and Mike Williams the Offensive Line Coach.
  13. Does Mike Mularkey have a logon ID here? He must becauase who else would have given him a vote?
  14. This shouldn't even be a question, the answer starts and stops with, "Who is the only coach of these 4 to take us to the playoffs?" Easy answer.
  15. I like Kornheiser when he had the ESPN radio show, but on monday, he is worse than Dennis Miller. I had a hard time watching the Bills on monday with him, and haven't watched a non-Bills monday night game since the first one last season when he started. He is terrible.
  16. Not only NO! but He*l NO! We would be gaining nothing that we don't already have, and if anyone can make Jauron seem colorful it is Mangini. I have never seen a man in his 30's act like a corpse as much as Mangini does.
  17. You do realize that Cassel took over a team that went 16-0 in the regular season last year? He wan't taking over a young team with a overpaid and suspect O-Line and a team coming off an overachieved 7-9 season. Cassel most likely wouldn't have done any better than Edwards has on this team. Some team is going to overpay drastically for Cassel and I am sure it won't be and very glad that it won't be Buffalo. Put Edwards on the Pats this year and they do just as good if not better, mainly because up there you become part of a system that has been working for years, not one struggling to find it's identity like the Bills are. No Thanks, let the Jets over pay and they won't have anymore than they have with Favre this year.
  18. I think for the first half of the season, of not more, he was the best DB on the roster. The Bills know they aren't going to resign him, so they have been fazing him out and giving the young guys that will be here next year a chance to prove themselves.
  19. Not so sure it is that simple, I think the decision is already made and that this last game isn't going to affect it. Either he already signed the extension or he didn't and the vibe I get is that he already signed it and he will be here next no matter what happens against the Cheatriots.
  20. Probably a combination of things. First off, his season is a complete success he made the Pro Bowl (his words not mine). Last year when he actually earned a trip to Hawaii, he couldn't play, this year he wants to make sure he can hit the beach and not be really hurt. An last but not least, I am sure the contract issue has some to do with it, maybe his way of sending an early message to the Bills that he wants a Christmas gift in the form of an extension.
  21. Whatever it means to be a "football guy", I hope we don't get another, we still haven't recovered from Donohoes tour here yet, and may not for a few more years.
  22. I agree, his attitude kinda sucks, but that is today's millionaire athletes, who are driven by agents who want more money. We could get rid of him, but if we did, and were able to find someone with his abilities (doubtful) to replace him, slim chance that that person would be any different. The individual who said he was the best player on the team, is way off, at least this year. He wasn't even close. Besides missing 20% of the season, between missing the first game and having to take numerous plays off becuase he wasn't in game shape, he missed way more blocks and had way more penalties than last year. If the truth be told, the best player on this team at his position is probably Brian Moorman and has been for the last 5 or 6 years. This year, and this year only, I would probably put Lynch, Evans, L. Walker, Poz, K. Mitchell, Whitner, Parrish just to name a few that had better years than Peters did this year. All told, I really think their only option is to give him the money. With the problems this franchise has had with quarterbacks, it won't make it any easier if we get rid of the most important guy on the offense when it comes to protecting him.
  23. Unfortuneately they will probably give him a new contract, if they don't he will hold out again. You will never get a first rounder for him, teams just don't trade first round picks much anymore. Maybe a 3rd rounder at best, so probably not worth trading him.
  24. Actually Susan Lucci is pretty hot for someone that old-mid 60's. But in all seriousness, Fletcher is a very good linebacker, and probably should have went on one or two occasions as a backup. He puts up monster tackle numbers, and is the heart and soul of the defenses he has been on, unfortuneately since he left the Rams, his teams haven't been very good. It is good to see a player who really cares about being recognized and not just care about the money, unless he has a Pro Bowl clause in his contract.
  25. Maybe we can get some of that O-Line to go on the hunger strike with us, maybe they would be able to move if they dropped a spare tire or two.
