  1. If only we could have had him much earlier in his career.
  2. If you look at his thread, he was talking about the fact that they all went to college at Texas, Thurman was at OK. St.
  3. How many people on these boards have run away and thought about suicide because someone said someone negative about them? Probably not too many, maybe you have, but I sure haven't. A little negative banter in my direction isn't end of all things important for me, but apparently for Vince Young and perhaps yourself, it is?
  4. This is sadly horrific. Really puts into perspective some of the stuff we bicker about on these boards, doesn't it?
  5. We don't need that big of a Head Case in Buffalo. His psyche is so fragile, as soon as someone boos him at the Ralph he will want to be traded or start moping.
  6. Maybe we can sign him and it will get that retarded Toronto Series stuff cancelled because they won't let one of our players into Canada.
  7. As far as I am concerned, Jason Peters is already getting paid his real worth. One good season and so many people on this board act like he is the second coming of Anthony Munoz. Not only will he never be Munoz on the field, he never will when it comes to being a team player either.
  8. In addition to his battles with cancer, I believe he was a QB coach at Arkansas (I think it was there) for a while.
  9. Todd Collins (just kidding, God I hope not). I don't think Garcia will go anywhere where he doesn't have a fair shot at starting. Same with Leftwich most likely. I wouldn't be surprised if they draft a second day QB and keep Hamden as QB. He is one heck of a nice guy, but I don't have alot of confidence in him, only because he has never been given the chance to play. It wouldn't surprise me to see Kitna or Grossman either, since DJ has connections to both of them.
  10. I believe Reeves also took the Giants to the Superbowl when the Ravens beat them.
  11. Buffalo fans are no different than any other fans of teams that have decades of disgusting results and piss poor management.
  12. I am in a very similar frame of mind. I have been a die hard Bills fan for well over 35 years, and have always been able to chase the disappointment from my mind and look forward to the next season. I have always been anxious to see who they draft or acquire via trade/free agency, and then make my annual trip to St. John Fisher for camp (Fredonia prior to that). This year is so different. Such disappointment after a collapse of a season that started with such promise. Doing nothing to improve while the other 3 teams in the division are full of optimism and deserve to be, we just kinda spin our tires in mud. An owner who no longer cares about the fans or winning, a coach who doesn't know what winning is, a coaching staff for the most part (a few exceptions i.e. Bobby April) who has never done anything but collect a paycheck. I am hoping it just takes me longer than normal, but I get back in the swing of things, but this season took alot emotionally from me.
  13. To be honest, it was more shameful the way it was handled keeping Jauron than the retaining of him actually was. The fact that whether or not he had an extension or not was a top secret issue and nobody in the organization commenting on it was a pathetic joke for a professional organization. Things like this, are a major reason why this franchise is one of the biggest jokes in professional sports.
  14. I would only disagree in one area, they weren't coming off a soft schedule into a difficult one, but vice versa. Before the 2008 season started they had one of the top two easiest schedules based on 2007 records. In 2007, based on 2006 records they had one of the toughest.
  15. Not all contracts (probably nowhere close), is the annual salary equal to the tag level. Most of the contracts aren't going to be played all the way through anyway. The players and agents are more concerned with the guaranteed money-signing bonus.
  16. Did you watch the Bills vs. the Browns this year? I guess not.
  17. So I take it you are satisfied with the Bills performance for the last 15 seasons. Glad you are, most of us aren't.
  18. Why did we ever let him go? At least he has hope for the Bills, not alot of that left lately.
  19. I usually do, at least part of it, but it will be the last year. I think the idea of moving it to the week prior to the Superbowl, and taking it out of Hawaii is an moronic move by the NFL.
  20. It is a messed up story, but as of now, he still would be our best #2 receiver.
  21. He has been a total bust in Dallas, only keeping his place on the roster and special teams because he was under a cheap rookie contract. It would probably make more sense to bring Crowell back, at least he as seen the field on defensive plays.
  22. I would probably do the same thing I would do if I won the lottery, and I haven't really spent time thinking about that either, since it will never happen.
