  1. And just like every other football rumor, we will never actually know what the truth is. If they aren't going to say WHICH teams wanted to trade a 3rd for Lynch, what good is the rumor? Face it, the guy who will do the most good proving this kind of rumor incorrect is Nix, when it comes time to make more deals and he makes them, and then those deals pan out, maybe a year, two years later.... You guys are just serving to give the rest of us ulcers for no reason.
  2. But why are we assuming the article meant Green Bay? It said "teams", not "team", and didn't even name Green Bay at all. Just sayin'. You guys are starting to seem like OBD PR people.
  3. You have no idea how bad I hope you're right. <puts razor down>
  4. I hope Ralph's enjoying his HOF bust. ...Bust....
  5. I swear, Buddy Nix simply can't stop making me look like a dunce for EVER thinking he wasn't just a clown in Ralph's clown car. Once again, not only does the present stink for Bills fans, the future looks even more bleak. Armageddon come get me.
  6. ...and a DC who runs a 3-4 and doesn't know the 4-3.....frying pan, meet fire.
  7. So I have the New Mexico Lobos on Saturdays and the Bills on Sundays. !@#$ weekends.
  8. LOL why arent the Jags going for it? They can make a foot in their sleep on this D.
  9. What a gig. Operate a streaming website, lure everybody with free live streams, wait for the NFL/DirecTV reps to come and give you a bag full of cash, and then allow them access to your site to shut down feeds and insert viruses, until all your subscribers wise up and go back to Sunday Ticket....
  10. What I am saying is more important because it's in larger font.
  11. I'm !@#$ing sure as I have ever been about anything that was Wilson 100%. No way Nix and Gailey wanted to do that extension, no way in !@#$ing hell. Only person on planet earth who'd be that sentimental and stupid to do that deal is Ralph Wilson. And NOT to ruin the team, but because he simply believes that he should be able to decide on a whole ton of things regarding the team and they should just win, anyway. That's how he's always been.
  12. The way I see it is simple. Ralph Wilson cares more about being involved in EVERYTHING going on with his team than he cares about actually winning. Everything he's done since grudgingly setting up shop in Buffalo basically proves that. Oh he hired Bill Polian, though, you say, and yeah, that looks smart, but the fact that he FIRED him for basically calling out ANOTHER know-nothing (yes, Ralph's daughter, whom he hired to be in charge of scouting, if I'm not mistaken, when she knew as little about football as her stupid father but obviously shared his penchant for choosing self-importance over success of the franchise). I'm calling Bill Polian's tenure in Buffalo a happy accident, and until someone shows me decisive proof that this theory is incorrect, I'm sticking to it. Face it, the Wilson family cares more about the Wilson family than they do the fans of Buffalo. And they pretty much say so whenever they are pinned down with the right questions. Too bad for us, with the Buffalo media the way they are, that is a rarity.
  13. Exactly. Anyone daring to compare the Bills with the Pats with their recent decisions needs to remember that extension and realize that there is no way in HELL the Pats would have done that Kelsay deal. No way in hell.
  14. I would have liked earlier picks than the 4th in 2011 and 5th (6th?) the next year, but I'm constantly over-valuing what players should get in picks. The Randy Moss trade for a 3rd showed me how much sense this trade made.
  15. I used to believe the premise set forth by the OP. But I feel that I understand Ralph Wilson better now, and I am fully convinced that, had he ever received an offer to move the team to a place where he could be assured of making more money, he'd have moved them already.
  16. DINGDINGDING!! Big "IF" there, though. My money is on now way in Hell Ralph allows another man to come into his house and ignore him the way Polian did. Not a chance. Face it, the "time" this will take to right itself is the time it takes for Ralph to sell the team.
  17. Really? To what city? If you say Los Angeles I'm gonna pee laughing. Remember the LA Raiders? Anyone? And take LA out of the hunt, what city gave Ralph a better chance of cashing in over entertainment-starved WNY? Answer. Nowhere. The team hasn't moved because no place made sense to move it to. If it did, Ralph woulda moved it, regardless of the fan support. See Art Modell.
  18. What I wanna know is, is it really harder to type "a + t" than "Shift + 2"? I ask you.
  19. I am one of those older guys, at 40 years old, and all I can say to this is, we were good for like six years, DESPITE the owner, because the guy he hired at GM didn't listen to him and did what he wanted. The day Ralph fired Bill Polian, I'm fairly certain he told himself that he would never make that "mistake" again. He likes to hang around making football decisions and only yes-men are allowed in his fold. Face it, we're doomed to root for a ****ty football team for as long as Ralph owns the team.
  20. We have an entire team of players who can't play either system, the 4-3 or the 3-4, so it might as well be the 3-4, while Gailey and Nix (hopefully) get to draft the guys that will help in that system.
