  1. Wanna help the Bills? Follow Ralph Wilson around and sneak up on him and yell "BOO!"
  2. Not trying to be argumentative with ANY of the above posts, because they all make sense to me, but in my mind, none of those things change the simple fact that it's all about our owner and his decision to hire cheaply at all levels, therefore getting the gobs of bad drafting and bad coaching that we have grown so fond of. Face it, he has never cared about winning enough to spend for it, and it was only when Bill Polian came through here and did things without consulting with Ralph that we had success at drafting and coaching and the proof was in the pudding. Then Ralph fired him for not wanting to take orders from Ralph's stupid daughter. End of non-puppet coaches and welcome back to the Draft Room Mr. Wilson. Welcome back horrible football and a wealthy owner who wished the team was in Miami anyway.
  3. I believe that according to your math, the Bills still have some time to make things right...and I agree. The way you just described the Jets, being 4-12 three seasons ago and last year making it to the AFC Championship game, was that not the exact scenario with the Bills from 1986 thru 1988?
  4. I'm seriously getting senile. I could swear that Nix was only around for this last draft.
  5. I'm so !@#$ing tired of hearing how upset old Ralph is. If he cared about this team winning, seriously ever cared, he'd never have let Bill Polian walk away, let alone chase him out of Buffalo, all for calling Ralph's daugher a see you next tuesday. Because aside from Bill's tenure here, in which he consistently ignored Ralph and did what he knew would build a winner, Ralph has had full control over everything this team has done, including who were and were not looked at to GM and coach the team, and even who they drafted or started in games (Rob Johnson anyone?). So seriously, Mr. Wilson, SHUT THE !@#$ UP.
  6. I said almost exactly the same thing in that thread about people not going to any more games. Weird. But I agree entirely, especially about the Kelsay signing being a very bad omen.
  7. I watched him say that. Shook my head and cursed under my breath that the city of Buffalo would hear that and still build the old asscrack a monument some day, when they should sue him, instead, for grand larceny, of our precious time.
  8. Yeah and just like when the Raiders were there, nobody in LA would give a ****.
  9. The answer to the Bills problems is someone kidnapping the old fart Wilson, and replacing him with a look-alike with access to the checkbook and phone.
  10. If the Bills left Buffalo, I'd probably become just like that dude's mom in Buffalo '66.
  11. ????? If that's true, there is more to worry about in this country than bad football.
  12. People are acting like the Bills are supposed to be 4-0 right now. Seriously. So they're 0-4, big woop. And they might actually finish the season with no more than 1 or 2 wins. Would you prefer another 7-9 season? Were you thinking that we were going to actually be BETTER than 7-9? Were you saving up for Superbowl tix? The fact is, all these years of mediocrity have played a role in who the Bills have been able to draft. Yes, they have missed out on some gems when they HAVE drafted, I'm not saying we couldn't be far better right now if we had better scouting (and a less meddlesome owner in the War Room, is my guess), but as far as the record goes, all I'm saying is, new coaches, new defensive philosophy, this is going to take about as long as it did in 1984, namely three or more seasons. And the worse we finish this season, the better the jump start to greatness. The only thing that's bothering me right now (and it's starting to bother me even more, with no media outlets even discussing the sheer idiocy of the deal) is the Kelsay signing, because it REEKS of Ralph meddling in football operations again, and if that is indeed the case, the Bills seriously will NEVER improve. I'm sure I wasnt the only one who prayed that Buddy Nix was a Bill Polian type of guy - you know, willing to defy Ralph's meddling and stupidity in order for his team to actually be GOOD. And I even prayed that Ralph, himself, realized that his place was on a heated barcolounger in suburban Detroit drinking Ensure and wetting himself, and nowhere near 1BD. The Kelsay signing....all I can say is uh oh.
  13. What gets me is how bad our secondary became with that switch, and I wasn't thinking the secondary would be all that affected by it. They are HORRIBLE now.
  14. I'm telling you, this smacks of Ralph's meddling.
  15. By the way, on that punt return, how was that not a block in the back on the Jets?
  16. I'm not a Trent Edwards apologist, if I read the meaning in your post correctly. Ryan Fitzpatrick is a great leader with a penchant for throwing badly. If I was making a point, it was how the Fates have conspired over the last decade or so to give Bills fans 3/4 of a reason to cheer, with that 1/4 rearing its ugly head and ruining the whole dumb show.
  17. If I can't watch the Bills win, then I'd rather stick pins in my eyeballs than be forced to watch other teams be successful.
  18. Why is Fitzpatrick impersonating Trent Edwards? This is surreal.
