  1. Im sure you all noticed the Brady Quinn is now starting for the Browns. The browns fan base was able to put so much pressure on the coaches and front office that they felt they needed to make a change. Starting this Monday Night with the national media, and continuing through the rest of the season, lets make it known that the fans are not happy with this mediocricy. If this Bills team comes out unprepared and lays an egg, Lets get a "NO MORE DICK" chant going. I will be up in sectiopn 313 doing my best to voice any dis-pleasure I may be feeling at the time. If we can make our displeasure known, maybe the fans can turn up the heat on the coaching hot seat enough to get somethign done. GO BILLS
  2. Your right, Trent showed abosolutely no potential in the Jax and Oak games. Lee has been terrible, even though he is tops in the AFC in stats. Your right, the O-line has been terrible... OK you got one right, 1 outta 3 aint bad. The only house cleaning we need it to ditch the coaching staff minus April. I would look to ditch all of our DE's and Dockery if their play does not improve. We need a guy who knows that the D and O lines win games.
  3. LES MILES. I have made about 20 posts this week about this guy. He was won Nat'l Championship from the SEC, and done it without all-star players at skill positions. He does it by dominating the line of scrimmage and being one BAMF. If you want some heart, swagger, and steel nuts, look no further. Former O-lineman too... http://media.2theadvocate.com/images/les+miles_060707.jpg Too bad Ralphy is too cheap to hire a competant coach...
  4. Trent's footwork has gone to hell. He never stands in the pocket, he is constantly drifting right or left. This causes his throws to be off the mark. Most times he has to avoid the rush, other times he clearly doesn't trust the o-line to be able to block a three man rush. If he can sit in the pocket he cannot step into his throws. Trent could play better, but does anyone say that Tom Brady lost that Super Bowl for the Pats, or do they point to the poor play of the O-line. ESPN's golden boy looks like a second rate QB without good protection. If we can fix the line, our run game and passing game both improve. The main problem with our line is not our tackles either, its teh interior. I really think this team is missing Butler, our problems came to a head when he went down, however he probably is not starter material. Dockery is playing like an F'ing chump and if his play doesn't improve lets save the $$ and part ways. This team needs a center in the worst way. If Jauron could teach a big rock to snap a football it would be an improvement. We need a new line coach too. Man, we have been at this for 10 years and aren't much closer to the post season...
  5. My take on the O-line. I think there is a direct correlation to the size of our line and our line problem. Announcers always point out how we are the biggest O line in football, and they act like it is a good thing. You need to be able to move people when you block, and our line is so big they cannot move. I remeber seeing the Pats lineman getting into the second and third levels of our d... i cant even image seeing Walker trying to get into position to block a safety downfield. I think this is another reason we never run screen passes, our lineman simpley cannot move downfield. Denver routinely uses the smallest line in the league and continually moves the ball on the ground. I think we have limited ourselves with the ability of our line to move into position to be successful, not many humans are 6-6, 350 and have decent mobility. Hell, peters rana 4.7 at the combine and even he cant move adequately enough
  6. Yea what is with the shotugn BS on 1st down, every time, short yardage too. At least give us the option to run but puttingTrent under center and hiding it a little. Hell we cant even run play action, let alone run
  7. I love Bobby, and he is the only coach on our team worth a damn right now. But here is my two cents... http://media.2theadvocate.com/images/les+miles_072407.jpg
  8. Jauron isnt even have enough confidence in himself, how is he supposed to be confident in his players. It is embarassing what has happened to this team.
  9. http://media.2theadvocate.com/images/les+miles_072407.jpg
  10. Amen. Goodell is the biggest one on their bandwagon too. You only destroy evidence when it is incriminating and your trying to hide something, just ask Nixon.....
  11. We need a coach with some steel nuts. Is anyone else mad about the bills punting 3 different times from the near 40? That is a sign of a coach who doesnt trust his team to do anythign successfully. Bilicheat would have gone for it all three times, and gotten it each time. Please Jim, buy the Bills and bring Les Miles to town.
  12. What good is a pass rushing linebacker going to do with our blitz-less D?? Babysteps fellas, ill take a coach that can adjust his gameplan OVER 6 WEEKS AND A 1-4 RECORD. LES MILES FOR NEW COACH!!!!!!!!!
  13. Dudes right. we have no will to win, and havent even showed an attempt to get better. We have needed a pass rush since week two, and still no blitzes. We have been killed by the dink and dunk pass but still we do not get tighter coverage. We havent even tried to establish a running game. I was/am a big fan of keeping coaches because a big thing in the League is stability and consistant, but being consistantly bad is not a good thing. I will start the movement..... LES MILES, LSU for coach of the Bills
  14. New year, same Bills showing up. I used to believe that if we could get some better players, we would improve. But it is clearly not our players, our coaches do not put us in position to win, we have no sense of urgency or pride. Les Miles for head coach
  15. There have been so many terrible calls vrs the Pats I cant even think of which penalties happened in what year, seems lik eone big joke of a game to me. I do remeber in '05 being so furious after the Refs handed them a 17-13 victory on Sunday Night. Come to think of it they blew us out later in the year.... No doubt all those defensive signals they had on tape came in handy...
  16. Well I didnt bring it up before because I didnt think you actually wanted to go back that far, But the offense is actually known as the "Single Wing" not wildcat... Versions of the Single Wing were used by schools like Pitt, Texas and Notre Dame. There is also a "Double Wing" which is similar, and yes uses a second wing. Wildcat uses some of each of these, as well as unbalenced lines, a very common technique used in both Single and Double wing formations. So yea, dont know where you came up with Wildcat... get the facts straight before u try to bang on someone...schmuck
  17. I am more concerned with him getting the correct carries. There is not a better short yardage/goaline runner than Lynch, yet everytime we find ourselves in that situation Mr. Jackson is back there.
  18. Lets stop watching the NFL and move onto College ball. I am a huge fan of Texas Tech right now but I will let you know who my favorite team is after the BCS Championship game.
  19. There is no need to throw for that many yards unless you are down. Our D has never put us in a situation to need to throw for that many yards. Also our running game, if better, would help keep us on the field longer. Additionally we rarely take shots down field, probably because we cannot get an 8th man in the box with our lackluster run game. You need to complete a lot of 5 yard passes to throw for over 300...
  20. STOP CALLING IT THE WILDCAT. They stole it from Arkansas who called it the WILDHOG. Dolphins are neither wild nor cats. Lets agree to that right now. Maybe the Bills could run some CRAZYINDIAN formation....
  21. Quinn threw almost every one of his passes to checkdown recievers unless he found Edwards or Winslow singled up on the outside. He was also able to avoid being sacked while showing great pocket pressence and athletic ability. I predict them marching down field with 5-8 yard completion quite easily. Any pressure we may be able to get on him, he will be able to avoid and make good decisions. I also had a dream last night where Kelsay got a free shot at the Quinn, but when he tried to tackle said player, he had forgotten he had elbows and hands, and the result was him swinging his clubs of human flesh at Quinn before tripping and falling to the ground. Quinn then threw a TD to Winslow. The crowd, embarrassed by the play of our starting DE, then just started cheering, WINSLOW__WINSLOW (ala Takeo Spikes) in an effort to lure him to Buffalo....
  22. Did you guys watch the game last night? Yea he had that killer drop at the end, but all of his other catches were top 10 plays. 3 seperate times Quinn put the ball about half an inch off the ground but he was able to go down and get it. No RECIEVER on our team could have caught those JP esq passes. Then on his second touchdwon he was able to keep his balence after a hit and stay in bounds. Second, if you talk to any Cleveland fan, they will tell you he is a very hard working player and cares about the team. His only incident was calling the team out for well, giving him a potentially deadly disease...TWICE. Lets get him for the right price.
  23. Lets change the focus of this debate from signing Hall, to resigning Greer. I think everyone on this board would rather retain Greer, who will also be cheaper. I think with the depth we have it is in the Bills best interest to lock up Greer and let mcGee walk next year. I think Greer has played better over the past 2 seasons and will be cheaper than McGee. This will also give Youboty/Mckelvin/Corner another year to improve. In the meantime we can hopefully develope a pass rush
  24. Where did you hear rumors of Kelly and Walker being cut? Thats who I am interested in, mainly Kelly... Any Links?
  25. Absolutely no suprise there. I dont see how anyone could have seriously thought he was going to be any good ever. If you had ever seen him play you would have known that he wasn't going to. And dont give me that too early to tell crap, I knew before he signed his contract he would be a bust bigger than... well everyone
