High Mark

I have a lot of problems with this draft. - Heyward is fine, I would be ok with him if the QB isnt there and the LT isnt either. But this pick may end up being Adrian Cailborne. He is a better pass rusher than heyward IMo. Maybe not as great against the run, I'm not really sure. But Heyward and CLaiborne are both good. - Why take Ponder? If you pass on Mallet (I predict he declares and Luck does not. I am certain 1 will), why settle for a guy like Ponder? Ponder is not a solid enough prospect to justify passing on Mallet, I am not a big fan of his at all. He is physically and mentally over matched. If you pass on Mallet, you dont plan on taking a QB is this draft - it would be too stupid to do IMO. - Marvin Austin will be long gone by this pick -Demarcus Love is in the conversation when discussing the top LT in the entire draft. Drafting him in the 4th? Please be more realistic here. We would be lucky to take him in with our 2nd at this point. (PS wouldnt that be something, college teamates Mallet/Love 1 and 2)

lets take a QB at 1-3-5-7. We should get one or two solid guys to move forward with. Thats not a bad idea with our scouts either.

Poz is our best LB. When we pay a guy like Kelsay how could you not resign Poz? With the crap we have retaining guys like Him and Whitner (guys who are finishing up their rookie contracts, and have been above average to solid players) we need to retain them. In 3 years Poz should not be our best LB. He should be our 2 down Lb. But right now he is by far the best we have. Plase sign him to a resonable and modest contract.

Whitner is a slightly above average safety. No better, no worse. He ahs lots of tackles because he cant cover well(AKA the "Keith Ellison effect" where you cant cover your man, he is open and catches the ball, then you tackle him) and also because our front seven stinks. I wouldnt even call Whitner a sure tackler bc he just trys to hit you hard and doesnt wrap up. He is also misses too many in the open field. (we should deff resign Whitner though, hes not great so dont pay him like Kelsay, but we should keep our abover average players. PS Kelsay is not in the category ) As for Byrd, he got really really lucky last year. Many of his ints should have been TDs but the pass was horrible (his pick vrs CLE for example). This year that is showing as he is often exposed in coverage. Byrd doesnt have the run stopping ability of Whitner though. Does anyone else miss seeing G. Wilson on the field more? I sure do - he was great last season for us.

After the Pats Traded Moss for a 3, I have a hard time believing that could ask for much more than that for Mankins. Even still, if we offereed a 3 and a 5 for him, I bet they would take it (maybe even less). I dont believe the Bills have even tried after that report about the lynch trade came out. Stupid Bills....

Even in his injured non steriod state, he would be an unquestioned starter for the Bills. Reggie Torbor? Kelsay? We just cut Ellis, Batten and now Moats are injured - do we even have backups? We should put in a claim for Merrimam, I assume he hits waivers, or try to sign himn if he doesnt

I really dont get teh whole Fox News outcry. I watch MSN, CNN, and Fox with a fairly open mind. Yea they all push their own agenda, but if I had to pick the network with the least spin and biased reporting it would be Fox news by far. CNN, and esecially MSNBC, are way worse. You cant see squat on TV other than the line play to some degree. the TV view doesnt allow you to see the coverages downfield or the WRs. Buddy better be watching all that tape once they get it from the NFL dub center or whatever.

How come Nix gets a Pass on Maybin? Nix was on the staff that selected him. After being promoted to GM, he fired no one in the college scouting department. He hired no one, demoted no one, changed nothing. Now, that to me means he is ok with whoever was in charge with selecting him. I know if I was GM I would have booted whoever lked Maybin out the door on my first day.

Sounds to me like a middle schooler did a nice project for home room....I grade a 95% for a "good play" WTF? It doesnt take a genoius to see how bad Green is. Same thing with Hangman. Wood has struggled, Levitre too but a little less. Bell is doing ok for Bell. Our whole line stinks. hows that for a grade of about "an average play"

its a good idea but at the end of the day he still has to beat the opposing Olman. His pre snap stance isnt going to change that much - unless it allows him to be unaccounted for, and in that case, anyone could rush the passer. The other side of that is he cant generate any less of a pass rush than Kelsay

Both Farve and Brees were selected 33rd overall too. Now I knwo Farve was taken before there were 32 teams, but in the era of the modern draft him and Brees are the 1st player taken in the second round. So if you figure the Bills are picking 1st overall next year, we will have that 33rd pick. That means we kinda have 2 shots at nabbing our QB. Also that takes your % from 70 up to 80 when you think of it that way. --- I think we should follow the Rans/Falcons Model. Take the QB early - hopefully Luck, then Mallet we should take the risk on - then with our 33rd take a top T. Both of those teams have had great success doing that.

Aging wont make Maybin a good football player. I say trade him to some team that thinks they can develope this no talent hack. even if its just a 7th rounder its worth it

We barely run the 34 at all. We are in a 40 front 80% of the time if not more. I didnt see every play cause I lost my internet feed a few times but we were in a 30 front 0% of the plays I did see this Sunday. I saw at least 3/4s of the game.

Can I say I told you so yet, or do I have to wait another year. he was a bust on draft day and anyone with a clue could see it from a mile away. He should be cut and every FO personell who didnt disagree with his selection profoundly should help him carry his gear, as they should be let go too.

I am so tired of addressing this subject. Maybin hasnt played any LB this entire season. Dont you notice how he is always in a 4 point stance in a 4 man front while we are in a 4-2 nickle? Yea sure, Maybin *should* be playing Lb, but he hasn been playing it at all this season, he has been a DE.

Fewell shouldnt be the HC of this team. Neither should Chan. But considering no one would accept the job, Id rather have Fewell. Chan has stunk since 1998
