Give us Tom Modrak's Head to Keep Us Interested
High Mark replied to Gabe Northern's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Modrak is head of scouting. If its his fault he should be fired. If it was Levy/Dickie/Sasquatches fault, then Modrak should quit because no one listens to him. All I know is, if I were head of scouting, I would have created such a **** storm in that draft room when they wanted to pick Maybin that they would have either fired me or I would have quit. No way I would want my name anywhere near that obvious bust of a player. -
Why not trade a 7th for Mqatt Moore? We need anything at this point. We are too stupid to draft Clausen, so lets take the guy he beat out?
-
I can honestly say none of those apply to me.

Where are all the Jason Peters and Langston Walker Haters?
High Mark replied to PDaDdy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Releasing Walker may be the dumbest move by this team this decade (well, other than the Maybin pick). Here is a guy who allowed like 1 sack the year before, and was a darn good run blocker. Nothing special but guy you never really had to worry about. Then they go move him to LT, and everyone and their mother new he couldn't play LT. After the entire training camp and 4 preseason games, the Bills coaches realized what the average fan picked up on before it even happened. Then, instead of moving him back to RT - where there was a huge ????? - they cut him. Thus leaving us with no Tackles instead of 1. Pure genius. -
So How Has Drafting Spiller #1 Helped Us?
High Mark replied to FlutieFlake's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Did you all not notice Bulaga come in and shut down whoever he faced today? He was worth our pick. He was worth it more than Spiller. He would be starting at LT for us and our offense would be much better with him that Spiller. I thought the point of the draft was to improve your team, maybe I was worng? -
What stinks is that the draft pick won't matter
High Mark replied to IronyAbounds's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Perfect thread. I root for a week 17 loss, we draft Maybin. I hate my life. I am going to toot my own horn here, but I could out draft the Bills entire scouting staff in the first three rounds. Please reference my thread on our 1st rounders performance today if you disagree -
Well look who is becoming a stud...

Spiller never should have been selected. -
Nothing changes till Ralph is gone
High Mark replied to DarthICE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The only thing Ralph has done for the Bills, is that he hasn't taken the time effort or money to move the team. Thats the ONLY think I can think of. So essential, he has done nothing, by doing nothing. Sorry if I'm not gracious. -
OTS: Packers & Bills Talking Deal For Marshawn Lynch
High Mark replied to bills_red's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Amazing how people still want to trade him for nothing. How about Spiller for Bulaga straight up? Then we could add the player we should have taken in the first place. He handled our guys today. (Not saying much I know.) -
How many poor games in a row until the coach is fired?
High Mark replied to Chuckknox's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ill give you a hint. His name is Ingram and he plays for Alabama -
We competed for more than half of the game....
High Mark replied to buffalo_bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The OL isnt bad? This OL is horrible. The only debate on this team should be who is worse, Trent or the OL. -
Where is our PASS RUSH?
High Mark replied to San Diego Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Washington -
Here is how all of the Bills 1st round picks faired today 2004, Evans: 0 catches 0 yards - was he even on the field? 2005, None 2006, Whitner: 2 assisted tackles. No picks, pass break ups, or big hits. talk about average. 2006, McCargo: I dont think he was on the field once. 2007, Lynch: 17 carries for 64 yards. Played very well behind a nothing OL. 2008, MCkelvin: Slowly becoming our top CB 2009, Maybin: Horrible in every sense of the word. Played maybe 10 snaps 2009, Wood: Starting G who has struggled more than expected in the last 2 games 2010, Spiller: 1 carry for 3 yards, 4 catches for 23 yards. Looked very average, was 3rd on the depth chart today. - Now someone try and tell me we dont have serious issue in our scouting department. This one game was a microcosm of how all these players have faired in their careers. Any ESPN idiot could draft better than this. Many a poster on this board could have out drafted the Bills with these picks. Truely embarassing that an NFL Franchise could even remotely draft this bad.
-
Some things like that list are hindsight, but others are not. Orakpo/Ngata - thats who all the fans wanted before the draft
-
The Bills FO has made it clear over the years that they do not value the OL. I dont see us drafting a T early. I could see us taking Adrian Claibourne from Iowa. Big strong DE that can rush the passer and play the run.

Anyone else watching Luck tear apart Wake Forest right now?
High Mark replied to sven233's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ive come to realise that 99% of fans out there cannot tell the difference between a college completion and an NFL interception. Im not talkin specifically to Mallet, but the location of the ball on the reciever has to be within an inches tolerance. When you see a college TD pass on a fade thats inside and short, or one on a post thats behind the WR, its an NFL interception. Thats the difference, and thats why stats dont tell the whole story. Colt McCoy was also pinned as an accurate passer bc of his completion %. But in reality he leaves a lot to be desired. Only the McShay sheep were saying that. Everyone who has a clue did not think he was the top guy. Luck is legit. -
This all comes back to the FO. Our drafting sucks. Our resigning of good players sucks. The OP says we dont have any play makers on D. Well, thats because we passed on drafting Ngata (Maybe the best "big" D lineman in the NFL) and Orakpo, and we didn't make a move to trade up for superstar LB P Willis, who everyone knew the 49ers were going to take (bc he worked out 1v1 with Singltray during the off season while he was at Ole Miss). They had the ammo to move up (they eventually traded up for Poz). But then they passed on Jon Beason for another average RB. All the while letting PB players leave like Winfield Pat Williams T SPikes and L Fletcher. Not to mention other quality guys who contribute to WINNING football teams like J Leonard, J Greer, and Tony Hargrove. Holy Crap, look at the roster I just named. RDE: Ngata NT: Williams LDE Hargrove OLB:Orakpo MLB: Beason or Willis MLB: Fletcher OLB: Spikes CB: Greer FS:Leonard SS: ?? CB: Winfield THATS BETTER AND HAS FEWER HOLES THAN OUR CURRENT *&^%ING DEFENSE!!!!!!!!!

Its good to have someone else on the board who can tell the difference between college good and NFL good Luck is the man. He clearly is the best as of right now. I love Harbaugh and how he runs that team - too bad for us he wouldnt even interview for our HC job! He would build our team right. I think that there is going to be a rookie pay scale in the new CBA, it makes too much sense for there not to be. I would think that this will keep a lot of underclassmen IN college until the graduate. AKA why does Bradford need a college degree when he takes home 50 Mil guaranteed. If they cap it and a guy only gets 4-5 million, then he busts out of the league, they are gonna need that degree. The Stars are aligning for the Bills to not get our QB this year. Which is ironic because last last year they aligned perfectly for us to grab a couple good ones The Raiders have a ton of talent. Much more than Buffalo. But the Rams and TB are worse. The Browns may be too but they will beat us head to head so I guess they are better. -
A very heated debate with packers fans all day.
High Mark replied to Cuze's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would never bet agaisnt the Bills. Because they win when I do that. It will be close tom jsut because we are the Bills but we will lose. -
I could see Locker switching positions in teh NFL. Sub 4.4 sped reportedly. Not likely but maybe. He is a thrower not a passer

J. Scott is starting LT for Pittsburgh
High Mark replied to Fitzmagic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Again, Incognito was a RFA and could have been tendered. He would have had no choice but play in Buffalo. -
Bell green and Merideth strike fear into our opponents.

So they get confused calling plays. Sounds like an easy fix. How is Gailey going to fix us? Thats my point. Smith Sucked yes, but he had a great second half of last season. And even still he is way better than what we have. Their top WR/TE/RB are better than ours. Aside from RB, they are deeper too. Their OL is much much better than ours too. Please dont make me talk about Defense.
-
Yes I would. (I dont like Davis. Bulaga is my guy. That thread on him being a G i believe is false. I have looked high and low and no where has it said he is anythign but a back up T. He cant beat out Tauscher, who was hurt at the begining of last year which is why they hgave up all those sacks. Tauscher has been a mainstay on that packer line for a decade. Bulaga not beating him out is nothing to worry about.) I missed Mallets game today but going by last seasons performance Mallet doesnt have the accuracy to be anythign but a bust in the NFL. The one highlight I did see it looked like he had a pretty bad wind up too. Clausen would be in year 2 of his career and give us a better chance to win now(2011) and into the future(because at this point I dont like Mallet). 1 OT for us makes the glass half full. We need Bulaga AND Gaither. Having Gaither and Green leaves a lto to be desired. And who says Bulaga cant be a great LT? Also, with our draft and FA record, who says we add a QB and LT next season? For all you know we will draft AJ Green(WR) or some DB next season because they were the "best player available"

NFL draws line on Pinto Ken's bowling ball shots

You are missing the step where he randomly assigns suspensions to players with no rhyme or reason.
