  1. I said that yesterday as well. We only beat KC because Chris Chambers likes dropping TD passes too. As bad as this team is and as bad as our record is we are going to finish 6-10 by beating the Colts backups. This teams has horribly over achieved this season and IMO only Detroit and St Louis are as bad or worse than the Bills. And saying that is conservative IMO, as Detroit is better than us.
  2. Not fast enought IMO. Dude dont even try
  3. I cannot find it calculated anywhere. Considering we play both the Saints and the Colts I think ours would be fairly tough. Reason I ask is it is the tie breaker for draft position of teams with the same record. If we finish with 5 wins it could be a 4-6 position swing. Easier schedule the better. Teams to root for week 17, whose winning will help the Bills: Cle Was Oak Sea Chi All could finish with either 4, 5, or 6 wins, same as Bills.
  4. I think the difference between the two is Lynch picks up the blitz, and Jackson does not.
  5. Very good post. We traded a 3rd and 5th for Stroud, thats like trading Chris Ellis and Alvin Bowen (2008). It was rumored that the Browns were willing to trade Shaun Rodgers and Brady Quinn before the deadline. Trading a 3rd for Shaun Rodgers would be great value. Same with Quinn. Where in the draft could you possibly get that value? We cannot lure FAs so we must trade for them. (I am not saying Quinn should start for us, just saying it would be great value. The QB position sucks so much we need backs too dont forget) And really Rodgers is better than Mt Cody. We could drat Cody in Rd1 or trade a 3rd and 5th for Rodgers... Id take Rodgers every time
  6. Thats why I got a Kyle Williams jersey for the gf - most underrated played on the team
  7. Play like he did in college
  8. If Michael Oher becomes Oralndo Pace and Brian Cushing becomes Lawernce Taylow, would you trade Maybin for them?!?!?!?!
  9. His 4 sacks vrs the raiders were all from DE too. 3 from RDE, one from the left. Orakpo prob plays the same number of snaps at DE as Maybin does yet gets way more pressure. I dont think Maybin has even one QB pressure, let alone a sack.
  10. "Mr. Smith, welcome to Econ 101, where we will discuss how competition, supply and demand, and disposable income will naturally result in a stable, desirable equilibrium. Do you know a Barak Obama? He was supposed to be in this class too....." Prof. Johnson, Hoboken CC
  11. Saying that strength and conditioning have zero factor is equally ignorant. There is plenty of evidence on stretching and injury prevention. Proper stretching and flexibility does prevent muscle pulls. The properly implemented and executed stretching program will reduce injuries. I assume the SC coach would be responsible for that - which proves at least some correlation. I dont believe it plays nearly as big a factor as others, but to say that they arent somewhat tied together is ignorant.
  12. Big Cat, meet Youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BZ1yXJ5WTcQ Now I couldnt find the full vid, but my guess is Jags #95 at somepoint before diving at Fitz and breaking Woods leg should have been blocked. Lets say that instead of Kirk "revolving door" Chambers we had a competant OL who easily blocked #95 and had him blocked well enough he didnt get remotely close to Fitz. Do you not think that then - just maybe - #95 wouldnt have fallen on Woods leg and broken it? I would love to hear your explaination as to how #95 could be in two places at once. Easily blocked no where near Fitz AND breaking Woods leg......?
  13. You are right. There is no way that a spread QB could have great footwork, a textbook release, be very accurate, and read a D. Just because his WRs are wide open doesnt mean he cannot be accurate. You prob never want to draft a player from Tx or a QB from CA even those are two of the three best football producing states. That kid will be a stud, write it down so you remember.
  14. I did, but did you? Peppers was lined up at LE most the night taking advantage of rookie RT Loadholt. Commentators even mentioned it. The guy beating McKinnie all night was Evertte Brown.
  15. I just watched most of the Hawaii Bowl - man that kid can ball. Currently a true freshman, Kyle Padron has one hell of an NFL future ahead of him. Great movement in the pocket, great accuracy, great touch, great mechanics/footwrk quick reads and strong arm. Has NFL size too. If he were a senior/ draft eligible Id want him with our 1st pick. If the Bills are still looking for a QB when he does enter the draft (please kill me) then they need to target this kid.
  16. Its sure dead in Buffalo 0-10 this decade
  17. Bucknell University in Lewisburg PA (right off Route 15) used to use the Bill current logo - tweaking the red strip to orange. They have a new logo now but the old one was still on some weight equipment and around campus when I was there.
  18. Good Draft? Sexy Draft pick? We passed on Orakpo guys...
  19. 4 of 100 for 396 yards and 4 TDs TO then proclaims him the God of all QBs after having 100 balls thrown his way and registering career high yards and TDs
  20. He also had J. Russel at #1. Half the time I think these guys just rate the players as to where they will be drafted, no when they should be drafted. Thats my only explanation to them rating Maybin so high.
  21. He would at least have an excuse if he started the young guys.
  22. This would be a great pick IF: The Bills got McNabb/Kolb/some other potentially availible QB/Brohm is the second coming of Johnny U the last two games Bills sign Marcus McNeil to play LT Bills sign Logan Mankins to play G Bills sign Merriman to play DE Bills sign Wilvork to play DT Bills sign D. Johnson/T. Howard/T. Davis to play LB Butler and Wood are back to 90%+ by end of training camp Until that is done, this pick blows EDIT: Wait, he still has us passing on Cody, Baluga (the future best RT in football IMO), along with many quality DTs and Gs... Id be pissed with that pick even with that dream list of prospects...
  23. Read my previous Post BC If our OL could block all of those injuries could have potentially be prevented. Wood and Butler were both "rolled" by D lineman who easily penetrated the line and threw themselves at the QB. Edwards had no chance and was instantly sacked. If that player was blocked and Edwards had 5 seconds to throw he wouldnt have gotten hit. Better players allow less sacks/pressure which results in less players rolling around on the groud and less of a chance those rolling players roll onto our lineman or injure our QB. I mean really - think about LB for a second. Our LBs are always taking on OL becouse our DL is not very good. So now we have our undersized LBs taking on 300+ lb OL instead of them running free to the 220lb RB. Better DL play helps keep the big hits off the LBs and keeps them healthier. I watched J. Campbell taken out of the game before half time because he was hit too many times. Now if his line was better, or he could hit a hot read better, he wouldnt have taken all those hits and wouldnt have left the game (he did come back... but you get the point) We are injured because we suck, our suckiness could be tied to our strength and/or conditioning. It is no mystery that in shape players perform better than out of shape players -- I believe it is all connected. Also we have no depth, so an injury hits us a lot harder than a team with good depth - which leads to more sucky play and even more injuries. I agree 100% that a lot of the IRs are for roster spots - like Byrds too I think. I thought Buggs tore an ACL though?
  24. I for one think we are pretty far off. We have the worst run D in the league and nothing that resembles an OL. We beat a terrilbe Tampa team, and had a good win agaisnt the Dolphins (who just lost their big time NT the week before), but after that: It took 6 Ints and OT to barely beat a bad Jets team A ton more Ints to barely beat a middle of the road and struggleing Carolina team A Chris Chambers drop to barely beat a horrible Chiefs team 6-3 loss to the Browns 17-10 (really more like 17-3) loss to the worst Pats team this decade playing without two all pro Dlineman We dont even have a good foundation to move forward. We have great DBs and very solid RBs but thats about it. We have Evans who is a great speed guy, but after that Hardy and Johnson but basically they prolly suck and we have no clue if they will ever be good. We have Nelson at TE and no one else is worth keeping. We have one OL we can count on to start next season and be satisfied with (Levitre). We have one young and good DL to be happy with (K. Williams). And one LB who is a decent starter (Poz). After that there is no one of the team worth a damn under 30. Butler may be back but not at full strength. Wood may be done for good. We never had a LT or a good C. Stroud is old, so is Schobel, and Kelsay should have been cut in 2004. Mitchell was average and will be worse with the ACL, Ellison is the worst linebacker in the history of the position. We can limp on with guys like Hangartner but they need replacing if we wanna make the playoffs. Stroud and Schobel still rpoduce which is nice but schobel especially is super over priced. There is so much wrong with this team its going to catch up with them soon if they dont do something about it.
