  1. I will say this about yesterday, Davis was way more than a fill in. Gabe had 14 targets but came away with only 3 catches; not good at all. They need to get on the same page. It seems like Allen and the wideouts were not at all on the same page yesterday. Is that Allen's fault, the receivers fault, or Daboll's fault, not sure but they better clean that up because it is way too late in the season to be as way off as they were.
  2. Nashville singer and die hard Bills fan Brooke Lee will be singing this Saturday, Sunday, and Monday night on Broadway in Nashville. For those who made it to North Carolina back in 2017 for the Panthers/Bills game she was the singer at the epic Bills Party the night before the game that made headlines on NFL Network, ESPN, USA Today and Bills/Carolina radio and news. I left a small video clip from that night. LOCATION & TIME Saturday at Tootsies (10pm-2am) Sunday at Rippy's (10pm-2am) Monday at Honky Tonk (10pm-2am) *Come celebrate after the game https://www.facebook.com/BuffaloBills/videos/10155453670450659/
  3. Antonio Williams makes the final roster and is named the starter at about the 10 game mark.
  4. I just found out that this wasn't coming from the team but by the county so in hearing that it's not a Bills organizational decision.
  5. How can they enforce the fans to be vaccinated but their employees "players" have an option?
  6. I couldn't stand Bruce Smith off the field, on the field he was a beast. I was at Jim Kelly's bar and saw him standing on the stairscase and as I was walking by I said something along the lines like I enjoyed watching him and that I'm pulling for him and the Bills. I reached out my hand to give him a handshake and he just looked at me like "get lost" and never put his hand out. Then with all his holdouts, pretend injuries to not practice and always feeling like he needed more money it just reaked of a man with a monster ego with no humility. Then his DWI, passing out at a redlight, and leaving for Washington for one purpose only, to play enough games so he could have the sack record. He seemed to be all about himself. He just always seemed like a jerk. A Hall of Famer and amazing player but a complete ass. Just my take...
  7. I guess you are not a McDermott fan because he uses that term all the time. It doesn't mean they have equal snap counts but that there are 3 separate units to your football team. Our special teams salaries don't even come close to our offense and defensive units salaries; so that tells you where our main importance lies.
  8. I agree with the fact that we need a guy for numbers sake and I guess they just signed E. Sanders. He will be a solid vet.
  9. Need a WR, not sure it is a huge need. Run game will improve by just having Star back and 2 healthy linebackers. I do expect us to draft some help for the front 7 as well.
  10. To all of the guys talking targets I do understand that which is why I included what I said in the bold print. I am not arguing the point that we have some great wide outs and not enough footballs to go around. I was just wondering if anyone thinks we should have held on to a more athletic tight end with upside and what I think is a higher ceiling than Knox. Lets face it Knox has rocks for hands but he brings more value as a blocker along with Lee Smith. Kroft has the best hands but he gets hurt all the time and lately has been surprisingly a healthy scratch. I see a lot of you saying there are no other receivers for Washington but if that's the case wouldn't that mean defenses could lock more down on Thomas? I mean all I heard before the season was how Knox was going to have a huge year this year because of all the weapons we have at wide out and how that would leave him a ton of favorable match ups. This came from fans in this forum and also from John Brown and Cole Beasley in training camp interviews. I love Knox when he holds on to the ball because he is tough as nails but he shows me very little to being our future tight end long term.
  11. Yes agree, Knox has stone hands. He is a beast once he secures the ball. I was actually surprised to see Kroft as a healthy scratch the last 2 weeks because he has much better hands than Knox.
  12. The Bills have been searching for a TE for the longest time and they may have had one in Logan Thomas before not resigning him a few years ago. Yesterday he hauled in 13 catches for 101 yards and has been a key target all year for WFT's quarterbacks. I couldn't even tell you the last time a Bills tight end caught 10 passes in a game? For the year he has 62 catches, 570 yards and 5 td's. Our 2 top guys are Knox with 19 catches and Kroft with 12 and combined they have 372 yards in a pass happy offense. I know we could never equally look at the numbers because we have way more options than Washington and we spread the ball around a lot. I just thought it was interesting to see Logan having a great year where he will most likely go over 70 catches and wonder if we gave up on him a little early after he transitioned from being a wide receiver.
  13. I would say yes without hesitation. Patrick has done it consistently at the highest level possible for a long stretch and has a ring. Josh has played 3 good games and still makes some bozo plays. I love Josh but Patrick might go down as the best to ever play before his career is over.
  14. I remember talking with someone from the front office of the Carolina Panthers who talks with Beane weekly and he told me Beane is looking for ways to get rid of Marcel. I remember he told me that McDermott doesn't tolerate laziness and he was tired of Marcel's lazy practice habits. He said that will never fly with McDermott and went on to say we have two brilliant men leading the way for the Bills. He continued to talk about Beane and how he went from a guy basically running errands to the assistant GM in a blink. He said that Beane was always 2 weeks ahead of everyone else's thought process and it was amazing how he always had a prepared plan in place for everything that may or may not happen. By the way 8 days later Marcel was traded to the Jags...
  15. DWI and suspended on drug violation for 4 games OJ was guilty by public opinion. Most including myself think he is guilty but we don't make that decision so that's probably why he is still on the wall. I know he did some other stuff that he was convicted of but he never got charged for murder or for abusing his wife.
  16. If healthy and that's a big "IF" I would hands down go with Green. He "was" an All Pro that gives you a different dimension with his size and wing span. I think if he is healthy you are more dynamic offensively. Look how fast Allen was able to get in rhythm with Beasley and Brown, why couldn't he do the same with Green and Diggs? Training camp might be shortened and that would be an understandable factor that would work against this idea. I would not do the trade unless my doctors new that Green was 100% over the previous injuries. I know Green has dealt with injuries that have limited his ability to produce on the field but John Brown had 3 mediocre seasons after his 1,000 yd season in 2015 and then last year he finally had another good year with the Bills. It's not like he produces year in and year out and stays injury free. We need to stop falling in love with guys so quickly as a fan base. I think this is a fairly reasonable trade that can bring high end value if Green is healthy.
  17. Thanks Ethan, I find most of the people who post do nothing more than show you an article from the Buffalo News or ESPN. They see a guy who was cut and ask "What about bringing this guy in?" There is nothing wrong with that either but when I post I try to bring something more to the table. There have been a lot of AJ Green posts in the past by others I guess but maybe that's because certain fans think he would be a great addition to the team. I don't eat sleep and drink 24 hours a day on this site so I didn't realize it was that overblown. Before last season AJ Greens name would have brought a way bigger buzz to the town than John Brown. I was just posing a question and didn't even take a side. It doesn't matter what post you read there are always those who will bash the post. Being 50 years old and a fan since the Fergy era I have seen in all. At the end of the day if we win we are all happy, Go Bills!
  18. If AJ was younger and healthier it would be a no brainer! I'm not saying I am all in on this idea but wanted feedback from the group. I think the injuries would have to be 100% cleared without a doubt but at his age he is more susceptible to getting hurt again so that could be a red flag. If you told me we could get 2 healthy seasons from him though I would do this deal without blinking.
  19. Agree about the already established chemistry between Brown and Allen.
  20. I agree with the majority. My biggest arguement against bringing in a guy like AJ Green is his health and he would have to clear a thorough physical. There is no question that he is the much better player when healthy. A healthy Green would make our offense extremely potent and would give defensive coaches headaches. For the people who said the teams aren't thinking about this trade, A. You don't know that and B. that's why I said hypothetical. I know from experience on this site though that half the people answer posts logically and the other half live to bash. All good, Go Bills!
  21. Would you pull this trade off if you were the Bills GM? John Brown for AJ Green AJ Green is not happy in Cincy and wants a new deal. He is a perennial pro bowler, (7 pro bowls). AJ Green has only played 4 full seasons out of 9. He probably would play 2 more years tops. Personally I think for the short term he would be amazing on the other side of Diggs, almost like what James Lofton was for Andre Reed. He is great with the intermediate and deep ball and has a knack for the end zone. John Brown's value has never been higher. He is coming off a great year with Buffalo and has 2 years remaining on his contract. He lacks size but is a very good route runner and came through in the clutch many times for us last year. John Brown has only played 2 full seasons out of 6. AJ Green (will be 32yrs old when the season begins) John Brown (will be 30yrs old when the season begins) 6'4 5'11 9 seasons 6 seasons 75 catches per season avg 48 catches per season avg 1,113 yards per season avg 715 yards per season avg 8 td's per season avg 5 td's per season avg 7 pro bowls 0 pro bowls
  22. No need to get snarky Bob, but I think you would agree that as Allen gets better at reading defenses and learns to get rid of the ball the line will look better.
  23. Not sure why we ever brought in TJ Yeldon, they don't like him at all and only will use him if their backs are to the wall. I know he fumbled a few times but my guess is he was coughing it up in practices to because he had a very short rope. Too bad because he catches the ball out of the backfield nicely.
