  1. There is this kinda short small handed QB in NO (don't understand why we can't pick a QB) or Ware but so what, that aint happening. What is the point of this?
  2. I'm 50 and so are the Bills Congrats Jimbo
  3. Could be argued DF was given the shaft and didn't have the best surrounding cast, plus he might have been one of the best QBs we had in here since Jim Kelly. We were in the playoffs wether or not you credit to him. This was really the beginning of the FO being really F'ed up. Which is all Ralph. Hopefully we can finally move pastl that. I am not so sure RW will be so behind taking Tebow but would have to be sold on it.
  4. OP I agree with you and I think we could trade for Thigpen (personaly I like a player for player trade better than for draft picks though) as the starter for a year or two in the mean time. Really all that would need to be done is trade down in the first and pick up 2 second round picks. And for you guys who don't like the "all he does is win" crap, well........ It is the truth. He had great numbers he won a lot, and is concidered maybe the best college football player in the history of the game. Plus he works hard as hell and is a true leader. I don't think he will be a first rounder but with the staff we have assembled I do think there is a chance he could do well here. Going back to a very different situation in 1969 we took the greatest (maybe) running back in the game and when RW finally did hire someone who knew how to use him (and spent some picks on the line). Look what happened. I don't favor Tebows politics or the fact he ran the spread anymore than any of you, I am sure but I know he will have a good maybe great pro career. One thing that will matter of course will be his supporting cast. Jim Kelly thinks he is the guy and I understand why. Tebow is tough and leader (like Kelly himself). IMHO the Bills would be crazy to not do this, I am sure the Phins are thinking about it too. So we will maybe seeing him two times a year for the next decade or so, I think he should be in a Bills uni. Oh and one last thing I line him up as a TE most of the time the first year not a FB so much.
  5. I'd say Thigpen in a trade and Tebow if he's there in the 2nd. I would find it entertaining. They could trade down to get more 2nd round picks and pick up our NT of the future other holes filled in other trades and FA. I wouldn't be surprized to see someone in the 2ndary go on the block (witner for example, although I do like him he isn't all that at times either).
  6. Tebow is still my chioce bring in Thigpin to groom him and use him as a split out/TE/wildcat option guy during the first year. The kid is a winner regardless of his politics and the spread he has played in, he has been the best player in college history and the last time we had one of those we had the most exciting running back in NFL history (at the time). Kelly seems to know it, I hope we get a good chance at him (plus RW will like how many tickets and press it gets him).
  7. tim tewbow should be on your list
  8. I am going with one, if he is lucky. Why would they throw the ball?
  9. There is an extra safety that they should of cut when they got Hardy back, maybe they keep4 QBs a short while, I would like to see GH get a bit of playing time before he is gone just to see what he has got in a real game, seen enough of Fitzy honestly.
  10. Because he makes plays and wins (didn't Belicheat have a thing for proven winners in his QB profile thing?). And frankly, I don't think you read the link.
  11. Actually this is why we draft Tebrow in the 2nd next year, he is right.
  12. See what TE does the rest of the year first, if he sucks see what we have in GH (seriously), I have seen enough of Fitz thank you . Address the FO next (can them all, bring in new coaches, seen plenty of them as well), pick Tebrow if he is there in the second round. Go FA for a RT or move one of our here now guys there. Draft 2 big LTs late in round 1 as RW is too cheap to pay a top 6 (which is what I think we have at this point), plus then if one is a bust you still get at least one good one. I don't like the FA option much TBH because there is no one giving up a franchisce qb. The best we could do is "servicable" and we have that in Trent maybe (who knows with these dingbats coaching him). Big and fast LBs and Def line in the rest of the draft and FA. I would hope we could get a good QB but this team needs more talent in many other places still. One thing I see with teams with **** Olines is talent in other spots besides QB. ie Pitts or GB, Plus we still don't know TE really sucks because he has been coached by these guys.
  13. I hope they keep him and use him after Hardy returns, to me it makes more sense to get rid of that extra safety, but I know how Dick likes his DBs so who knows at this point. The way this team is run they might just let him go and get nothing in return. Same old same old......
  14. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=AjGo...o&type=lgns Just thought this was interesting in context of our team and wish we had better managment If you make the wrong decision, you’ve got problems, and if you can’t throw the ball, even if you make the right decision, you’ve got problems. So if you’ve got those two, you’ve got Joe Montana. If you can’t do one of those two, then what’s the future? … If you have those two things, you have a quarterback. If you don’t have those two things, you’re going to have to dumb it down. You’re either going to have to limit the decisions he makes or take the accuracy element out of it by either not throwing over 10 yards or not throwing outside the numbers. You’re going to have to do something that changes the way you play offense. Sound familar? Cole: Why are there so many bad teams around the league this year? Belichick: Here’s the only thing I’ll say: I think to have a really good team in this league, you have to make a lot, a lot of good decisions. You have to have a lot of good people, players, coaches, whatever. You need a lot of those. Conversely, to not be competitive, you would have to have a lot of bad decisions. One bad decision is not going to do it, one bad player is not going to do it, one bad coach is not going to do it. You’re going to have to collectively, over a cumulative period of time, make a long series of bad decisions and accumulate a lot of players who are substandard for their position. There have to be a multitude of things that go wrong. Well we all know this I would think (after 10 years of our sucking), why doesn't Ralph? Cole: Because you can keep yourself average for a long time? Belichick: That’s the system. If you don’t have good players, you have money to spend on players. If you have a bunch of good players, you eventually run out of money and you can’t keep them all and somebody else gets them. That’s the system, it keeps everybody average. We’ve seen teams be really good just on coaching. We’ve seen teams be competitive with just a few good players. Cole: Jimmy Johnson once said, if you don’t take too many risks, you can win nine or 10 games a year. Belichick: Jimmy probably said the same thing to you that he once said to me: “You’re really only competing with about 10 teams a year. If you just say out of the way, the other 20 teams will screw it up themselves. Whether it’s ownership or personnel or coaching or some combination of factors.” Ego, internal struggle, something will happen to two-thirds of the teams, that was Jimmy’s theory. That leaves you with about 10 teams that you’re going to have to really battle with. Those teams have it together. They’re going to make good decisions and if you play bad football, they’re going to take advantage of it. They’re going to find some undrafted guy or some middle-round pick or some veteran free agent who is going to spark their team. Pittsburgh is always going to be there.
  15. Put Josh on the Pats* and he would be the next Welker, seriously. I think so esply with Moss out there.
  16. damn straight he needs to go (last year or before), will RW do it? I have no idea, nothing would shock me. But they won't have a winning season anyways.
  17. only Jauron could be that mediorce
  18. I like the 1. I am in Bangkok so that is midnight here I don't want to wake up at 3 and with this team being the way they are I missed 2 games that started at 4. If they start at 1 I can justifiy to myself being tired if I stay awake past 2or3. I did see the last quarter and OT last week but the stream I was on blew chuncks. I have to work this Monday and I am sleeping though this one, too. I really want to know WHY all these games at 4?
  19. gotta be better than John the bust Mcnotgoodo
  20. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/trans;_ylt=Avh...P31eTysAqVDubYF ???? is this just yahoo fking with us, nothing about the raiders?
  21. Not sure why, anymore? Live half a world away now in Bangkok, I might just do it cause it is my hometown and I can't enjoy football without the Bills (except seeing the giants beating the *s). BTW my dad took me to games when I was 2 years old but I didn't really understand much til I WAS about 5, which was the 65 season. I still spend time on this !@#$ING team, why??????? it isn't healthy and I know it.
  22. at least the bills aint that fugly

  24. I would like to hear "please fire dick!" kind of classy with the magic word.
