  1. I finally made the trip out to St. John Fisher College for the first time this year and I just wanted to share some of my observations with my fellow Bills fans! The Good: Robert Woods- Had a great one handed catch on a pass from EJ to go along with a great afternoon in general. He's really looking like he has a bright future with us. Landon Cohen- He impressed in the HOF game and looked very explosive to me today, constantly finding a way to shed blocks. He could push for either a roster spot with us or find himself on another team's roster due to our defensive line depth if he continues to impress. Duke Williams- Had a very impressive goal line stuff on I believe Booby Dixon. Being another guy who impressed in the HOF game it was great to see him pick up where he left off! I really don't se any reason why he shouldn't be a hard hitting playmaker in our secondary this year. The Bad: Scott Chandler- It was a very frustrating afternoon for Chandler consisting of multiple drops, including one would-be touchdown. I'm just going to write it off as rust coming off of his injury for now. Chris Hogan- Had a couple of drops as well, but I have a feeling that it's going to take many more poor afternoon's for him to play himself off of this roster. 7/11 is safe. It was nice seeing him put in some extra work after practice knowing that he struggled a little bit. He's certainly a very easy guy to root for. EJ Manuel- I've been a huge EJ supporter since the day we drafted him and still am, but he had a rough afternoon. He continued to be noticeably indecisive while going through his reads and was inconsistent with his accuracy as well, over shooting a wide open Mike Williams in the end zone on one occasion. I like EJ a lot but he still has some work to do before he brings this team back to the playoffs for the first time since '99. Random Tidbits: I loved how many players stayed after practice to put in some extra work, including EJ and Tuel throwing passes to 7/11. Others who put in some extra positional work included Robey and Bradham. I also want to give a shout out to EJ, Sammy, and one of the nicest guys I've met, Dan Carpenter, for staying late and signing several autographs. That was really great of them.
  2. It wasn't the hit that bothered me, it was when he flexed at Freddy when he was being taken off the field. That's about as classless as you can get right there
  3. Jones and Nelson are really the only two I disagree with. They're both ideal fits in the slot
  4. Amen? What are you a Dolphins fan? That's a bad prediction
  5. I think were more likely to keep 5 recievers, plus Brad Smith.Stevie, Jones, Nelson, Graham, Hagan
  6. I liked him quite a bit as well. I guess the question to ask is who would we have preferred.. Mark Anderson or a potential Garcon/Robinson signing because I doubt we would have considered signing both. I still think the Anderson signing was pretty solid though
  7. Shep has definitely struggled. Personally I think the best thing to do if he continutes to struggle would be to move Barnett back to middle linebacker and maybe have a Moats and Bradham/Morrison combo on the outside
  8. I'm surprised we never went after Pierre Garcon, but than again after seeing the contract he got maybe I understand why we didn't
  9. Pre season means nothing people, no gameplanning or anything was put into this game, heck Chan even said so himself. And if anybody actually thinks that we would come out with 15 strait passing plays in any regular season game than they are delusional.
  10. Chan specifically said in his interview after the game that they didn't want to show a full gameplan for Washington's 3-4 defense, which leads me to believe that they wanted to work on the no huddle beacause of that. If anything people should be happy that maybe now Chan will see that we should be a little bit more of a running team come the regular season, but that doesnt neccessarily mean that they'll show it for the remaining 3 pre season games. Why give the Jets or anybody else good film to watch or risk injury to Freddy or CJ over a stupid preseason game?
  11. Things seem to be awfully quiet on the Kuechly and DeCastro front.. especially since they will prolly be a couple of the better players avaialble when we pick.
  12. Adcock.. Levitre.. Wood. Sounds like a pretty solid line in the making!
  13. I'd love to see them move up for Blackmon, but doubt it would happen.
  14. Do you think they would consider bringing Bell back if its a fair deal?
  15. For some reason I thought this was a peter pan link waiting to happen.
  16. A high school quarterback is better than Thigpen
  17. It seems like until we actually land a big time free agent no one in the media is going consider us contenders for anyone. Well guess what.. there's only one way to fix that.
  18. Mincey is kind of questionable. A 2 year deal for a guy like John Abraham may be a better and safer route to go
  19. I dont think I can get over the fact Ingram is only 6-1, thats just not good size for a DE.. let alone a top 10 draft pick.
  20. Vinny Curry could end up being this year's version of Kelvin Sheppard for the Bills.. We all knew Buddy and Chan had liked Sheppard alot going into the draft last year after seeing him in person at the senior bowl, and that there was a good chance they would pick him if he was there. So maybe thats Vinny Curry this year? It certainly seems like they are high on him.
  21. We shouldn't even consider drafting Ingram or any of the other questionable DE's at 10 imo.. there's much better depth in rounds 2-4 (As Nix has already stated)
  22. Floyd's my pick as of right now. Theres a good chance he'll be the BPA at 10 as well
  23. if were looking for a speedster i think Joe Adams out of Arkansas should be the guy.
