When the Bills have been this bad, for as long as they have been this bad, I think just stating facts can appear like complaining.

The only one I had a problem with was when Fitz got hit in the head as he threw the ball. If that's Brady, there is no way they don't call that. Other than that, yes, the refs had no impact on the outcome of this game.

How is this a non-issue? The Patriots won all three of their Super Bowls by a single field goal each time. There is no denying that knowing what the other team called was just enough to give them the edge and win those games. ...And what happened in the one Super Bowl that they couldn't cheat in?... They lost by a field goal. It definitely would not have mattered in terms of the Bills, but it absolutely matters in a greater football sense.

It wasn't just the Jets. It was everyone they played over the course of many years. They got caught the year before against Green Bay (I think) and were told to stop, then got caught a second time. The league must have thought pretty strongly about it because Bellacheat was also fined half a million dollars. That's not a small sum of money.

What's funny is that you don't realize that this is the private sector at work and flourishing. These laws were made because some lobbyists, paid by private insurance companies, went to the lawmakers, because these same companies were tired of paying for health care related to these things. C'mon, do you really think anyone in the government cares if I die in a car crash because I wasn't wearing a seat-belt? Nope, but the insurance company that would have had to pay out the settlement sure does.

If rooting for Brady eases the pain of the Bills' crapitude, I say go for it. We have to do whatever we can to survive this Decade of Suck. I picked NE's defense for my fantasy team for the same reason. I still would rather have the Bills win than my fantasy team. I'm hoping for a 21-0 Bills win where all our points come from punt returns.

I'm just glad that I'll be watching a Bills' QB this Sunday who knows that Lee Evans is actually on the Bills as well.

I said this after the game, when they showed that replay, they only highlighted the two receivers that were covered (to make their point). What they didn't talk about was how Parrish was open TWICE on that play. First, in the middle of the field, then again streaking down the sideline when Trent was scrambling. I don't care if we lose this week, but boy am I glad I don't half to watch Trent.

I was thinking this very thing earlier. In fact, I can't wrap my brain around how in the world is it possible for us to be as bad as we have been for as long as we have. It defies the laws of probability.
