I'm starting to think that between KC and Oakland being 1 and 2 in rushing last year, their common opponents had some god-awful rush defenses. I see this as a 20-17 pick 'em game.

Got it. But that's a red herring. We're not talking about the next owner. We're talking about this one. We're talking about current owner claiming poverty and not spending money that would make the team better while still making money and passing off money decisions and football decisions. I'm also pretty sure that people often buy teams (or companies) that just break even or even lose money, but hold onto them long enough for the overall value to go up. They make their money after they then sell it.

There are 23 other owners (some of them who own actual winning teams) who would disagree. And who is spending a billion dollars anyway?

I'm just wondering what makes you think that someone would buy the 9th most profitable team in the NFL, and then move them to a city where several other teams have failed? If it is indeed a business after all, that doesn't make much business sense. I personally think that 20 mil could go pretty far to making this team better. That's still 20 mil in profits for the year. Not bad. If you throw in a home playoff game, you would get another 10 mil in profits back as well. 2 playoff games and you're back to even and you've given the fans what they so desperately deserve.

I think they should fake punt on every forth down of the entire preseason. The one guy on the Bills who absolutely positively does not need any more practice is Moorman.

I don't know about Cincy, but for Buffalo maybe it was as simple as Goodell knowing that, as a convicted felon, Vick would have a hard time getting into Canada, and he didn't want one of his teams without their starting quarterback for one "home" game a year.

The losses that the Bills have had this year have been infinitely more entertaining to watch than any win Jauron gave us. It's not even close.

I was thinkng the same thing. I don't have a problem with people calling out SJ today. I think Stevie deserves whatever he gets this week. I hope he learns from this as well, but it is not a good sign to me that he had as bad of a game as he had, immediately following a week in which he drew so much attention to himself last week. It wasn't just the drop in the endzone, it was the whole game. It just smacks too much of someone who folded under the pressure.

I'm not going to read through this whole thread so I don't know if this has already been said, and this seemed like as good a post to respond to about it, but I disagree. If Fitz was black, he would be getting killed by Bills fans. They would say,"See, they just can't be a QB. He's great when he uses his legs but he has no accuracy when he throws." I bet you can personally think of few people that would say that.

Because to represent 10, one guy is standing, the other is sitting.

Everyone is talking up Fitz today, but I feel the game changed when the defense stopped them at the end of the first half. They then blanked them the rest of the game. They were just as responsible for the win as Fitz
