I just don't see the O-line coming together. Just because they are young and/or high draft picks doesn't mean they will improve. The way I see it, Wood and Butler are the only two NFL caliber starters on the roster. Levitre and Bell will be nothing more than career back-ups. They fact they we're opening day starters tells you just how bad the O-line is.

We improved the WR core by adding TO. Trent Edwards should have logically either played at the same level as last year or improved, neither of which he has done. That for me means there are 2 major reasons for the offense sucking: 1. Porous O-line 2. Replacing Turk Schonert with Alex Van Pelt was a mistake

Hardy is a complete bust. Can't run routes, poor effort, and doesn't have the mental capacity to understand even our primitive offense. I'm willling to bet he would have been cut in the preseason if not for his 2nd round draft status and injury. He showed absolutely nothing last year except for one TD against the Jags after basically being handed the #2WR position. Rip me all you want but he'll be out of the NFL in 2-3 years after the bills waste a roster spot saving face and trying to "develop" him.

How is it that Whitner is underachieving exactly? Remember he was projected as a late 1st round, early second round pick. The guy practices and plays hard. Problem is that he doesn't have ball skills and will never be a playmaker. That's not underachieving. It's Levy and Modrak overestimating a player. Now McCargo on the other hand, even despite being projected as a 3rd rounder, is a lazy underachieving tub of lard.

Hasek was unbelievable. Tremendous flexibility and anticipation. I never understood the circumstances of him leaving the blackhawks and winding up in buffalo. In any event, with regard to pure dominance, he's probably the best professional athlete Buffalo has ever had.

Looks like you'll have to wait till the end of the season for Jauron to get pink slipped. Brandon is keeping his "ace" in his back pocket to increase ticket sales this offseason.

Ten years ago they were lucky to win 1-2 games a season. They went to a bowl game last year for the first time in over 30 years. And they appeared in national TV game last night. That's not relevant?

On my behalf, please tell them to stop letting key players leave in free agency, get better scouts, and get a better coaching staff with a proven track record. Otherwise you get what we have.

2009 and beyond O-line proper assignments: Bell- back-up Levitre- back-up Hangartner- back-up Wood- capable starter Meredith/Scott- out of NFL (I didn't see enough of Butler at RT before he got hurt but was a capable RG) And one wonders why we cant run or pass the ball.

Remember all the crap about him being motivated this off-season. A new defensive line coach. What a bunch of crap. The guy is a bust. Always has, always will. And we'll hear the same crap about Aaron Maybin. He missed training camp, filled out his frame in the off-season, etc. He sure looks like a bust to me.
