  1. I don't understand the trade block angle. Who want's an overweight under-achieving DT?...oh wait, maybe Matt Millen in Detroit is interested.
  2. Big ups to Jauron. He plays the best players regardless of draft status. He's got the stones to inactivate 1st round bust McCargo.
  3. It's amazing what a win and a Tom Brady injury will do for your outlook.
  4. McCargo was inactive for the game, a healthy scratch which is a HUGE red flag. Not good for a 1st rounder in his 3rd season. Can you asy Mike Williams? Fortunately, Stroud looks to be a great addition who had a huge game today. I also liked Spencer Johnson. I didn't realize he was so big and looks to be a very solid rotational DT. I give Jauron props...he will play the best players regardless of draft position.
  5. Good post. I thought Chambers did a good job too. We now know we have a servicable back-up to Walker when Peters returns to LT.
  6. It's all good except for McCargo.
  7. I'm not counting Brady as "done" until the doctors, NOT reporters, say so. If he does go on IR, why can't the Bills win the division? It looks like Stroud will have a major impact on D.
  8. It's going to be tough to make the playoffs even with a healthy roster. With the Crowell situation, I came up with the top 4 players that if injured would seriously damper any playoff hopes: 1. Marshawn Lynch. I like Fred Jackson but Marshawn is a special player who will be a workhorse this year. 2. Lee Evans. Lord have mercy if he goes down. James Hardy seems to be struggling with the mental aspects of the game. Josh Reed is our #2WR which is never a good thing. 3. Marcus Stroud. He hasn't played one regular season down for us yet, but I put him on the list because our run defense was so terrible last year. Puz may help, but Stroud's play is crucial to stopping the run. Let's hope we have the pre-injury Marcus Stroud. 4. Aaron Schoebel. The guy takes alot of heat on this board which I don't get. He is a severley under-rated player, and is really the only DL we have that can pressure and sack the quarterback. I left Trent Edwards off the list...barely. There is a drop-off with JP Losman but not a huge one.
  9. Ditto! I'll add Lee Evans to the "we don't know what's going on behind the scenes" take.
  10. Let's forfeit the game.
  11. And middle of the pack with Peters.
  12. If dude has 16 regular season TD catches as a #2 WR in our offense, we will get a first round bye in the playoffs and will have overtaken the Pats in the AFC east. I like it.
  13. Why is she in Bills gear? Is Trent Edwards dating her?
  14. It just keeps getting better. Thanks for that arousing link.
  15. Wow... that put a knot in my pants.
  16. Beerball, how in God's name do you find all this info on former Bills players and brothers of current ones, as irrelevant as it is?
  17. Whitner is a great vocal leader and a guy you need in the locker room. He has been a good not great player to this point. Here's hoping he has a breakout year so we can feel better about passsing on Ngata
  18. And let me guess Marshawn Lynch is the starter at RB. Thank you Chris Brown for reporting what we already knew.
  19. Nice Blues Brothers reset.
  20. Show him the money. I am completely with the Bills on this one. He's under contract and should report before any renegotiationg begins. That being said, he should have a new deal this year not next as the Bills have stated. Be fair Wilson. He's your best lineman and underpaid.
  21. When the fat lady sings.
  22. Point taken. I will add that James Hardy hasn't exactly been lighting it up either. Before you proclaim that the Bills are smarter than the rest of the league because they selected Hardy instead of Kelly or Limas Sweed, let's see how they play this season.
  23. Just read that former Michigan QB Drew Henson got released by the Lions. I remember when the Texans were shopping him for a 1st round pick. The Bills were one of the teams interested initially. Tom Donahoe and Sam Wyche attended a work-out then withdrew consideration. I think Dallas gave up a 3rd rounder for him and was released a year or two later. Donahoe and Co screwed alot of things up. Letting Pat Williams go was the biggest error we are still hurting from, but at least they got the evaluation right on Henson.
