  1. The problem is that we've been dismantling for a damn decade. I'm tired of it.
  2. I'll drink to that man.
  3. Good post. The guys I see that play with an attitude are M. Lynch, K. Mitchell, D. Whitner, L. McKelvin, and no one on the offensive line.
  4. Denney played very well today, probably his best game in the NFL. That said however, he's no Schoebel.
  5. At 0-3 in the division we really have a slim chance to win the AFC East. This means no playoffs in a season that began so well and was bolstered by Brady's injury. Cleveland has greatly underachieved this year and now Brady Quinn is the guy. With all the drunkness that surely will occur for a night game in Buffalo, can you imagine if the Bills lose. Leave the women and children at home. It could get ugly folks.
  6. Lighten up dude. Feel free to disagree with my posts but resorting to name calling is immature and juvenille.
  7. Let's hope Hardy isn't teaching the kid how to point a gun at his father. Or play how to play WR in the NFL for that matter.
  8. I agree. It reminds of that close up in Blair Witch Project where that girl puts the camera to her own face trembling in the middle of the night.
  9. No but I'd trade John McCargo to Indy for a 4th round pick.
  10. He's a punk. I thought he'd wind up in Dallas with all the other degenerates that Jones signs to win at any cost. I take great pleasure in seeing the Cowboys struggle.
  11. Excellent post and a voice of reason.
  12. Jauron on the OL: they need to keep working at it Translation: our personnel sucks.
  13. He's the greatest thing since sliced bread...just ask him.
  14. Can't disagree other than that Fowler was signed on the cheap from Minn. Walker and Dockery have "improved" our line from the garbage we had before, but they are average players paid like all-pros. The sad part is they are locked up long term and ain't going nowhere due to cap hits. Ditto for Peters and Butler. That means the only way we can improve the line is by adding a stud center and that isn't easy to do.
  15. Amen brother. The guy is scrappy and simply gets the job done. It's very obvious that McGhee and Greer when healthy are a very solid pair of corners which begs the question. Why did we draft McKelvin when we had so many other needs on this team?
  16. It's called reality. You might want to look into the concept.
  17. Sorry, Josh Reed is a nice slot receiver not a legit #2 receiver. Remember when Peerless Price went to ATL and Josh Reed started opposite Eric Moulds? Yea, that worked out well. You don't know what your talking about.
  18. I don't understand why you can say he is "extremely talented." Where is that coming from? I just don't see it on the field. Again, just because a guy is drafted high doesn't mean he can play.
  19. I've been watching football for over 35 years son. Stop with the excuses already. When Moulds played as a rookie you could see he was special. The guy made plays and had to be accounted for. In a half a season James Hardy has made one significant play against Jax. He's basically a decoy out there. And this from a team with a desperate need for a #2 WR. He couldn't beat out Josh Reed which should tell you all you need to know.
  20. You nailed it. Our O-line cannot run block. What's perplexing is that the pass protection for the most part has been okay. You have to hope that adding a center will make a huge improvement because Peters, Dockery, and Walker are signed long term and aren't going anywhere anytime soon. They have all been very average and I'll add Peters has done absolutely nothing to warrant a raise.
  21. Never count your chickens before they are hatched. Just because a guy is drafted high doesn't mean he can play. It's pretty obvious James Hardy isn't a very good WR. He can't shake a defender to get open, and doesn't know how to position his body to make a catch by shielding the CB. He's a guy that will catch an occasional fade pattern in the red zone but that's all I see from him. A legit #2 WR opposite Lee Evans remains a high priority this off-season.
  22. Despite losing 3 of our last 4 games, we are a still a respectable 5-3. The problem is we have lost both of our division games. I don't see any chance of us winning in New England next week, and that puts us a 5-4 with 3 losses in the division. It's also obvious after being together for a year and a half our O-line cannot run block. As the weather changes, a weak running game will be our downfall. Stick a fork in us, were done for 2008. A waisted opportunity to win the AFC EAst. And to think Brady will be back in 2009.
  23. Choosing between Fowler and Preston is like choosing between a Ford Escort and Hyandai Accent. They both blow. I'd take Dusty Ziegler or Trey Teague at this point.
  24. Hopefully the interception prone #4 will show up. If not, with his group of receivers including TE Dustin Keller whom I'm still pissed we didn't draft, and our susceptibility to the pass it could be a long day in Orchard Park.
