  1. Okay so Jauron gets canned. Then what? Our players suck. The bottum line is we need better personnel.
  2. I'm not uspet by this loss. Really. It came as no surprise. When it became clear that the bearded bounce passer was going to start, I knew we had no chance and the game unfolded exactly as any diehard knowledgeable Bills fan knew it would. Primary receiver covered, happy feet in the pocket, sack or incomplete pass. When I look at the talent, or lack thereof, on this roster it's no surprise we have a losing record. The only legit stars on offense are Lynch, Evans, and maybe Peters. On defense, there are none. And spare me the Whitner thing. Once again he made no significant plays and got burned for what turned out to be the game winning TD in the 1st quarter. Tom Modrak and John Guy have been an embarassment. With the talent they have scouted for us , it's no surprise we have little chance to win.
  3. Bledsoe- over the hill Losman- great from the neck down Edwards- great from the neck up BUT I think the guy can be a successful, NOT all-pro QB, in a west coast offense.
  4. Well put Phoenix. It would be funny if it wasn't true.
  5. I saw it followed by that clip of that old old dude singing the canadian national anthem for the Habs. Boomer picked the Bills to win. Here's hoping he's right.
  6. But JP thinks he's the greatest thing since sliced bread. Just ask him.
  7. Rich Kotite, Ray Handley, or Joe Bugel.
  8. Jauron=soft. L>>W.
  9. Guarantees are like a$$holes, everyone has one ... at least if your an athlete. Too bad Whitner can't play as well as he talks. He runs his mouth but has no real impact on the field injured shoulder or not. Our talent level or lack thereof is why we blow. Outside of Lynch, Evans, Peters, and maybe Schoebel who do we have that is a probowl caliber player? Modrak has been a huge disappointment. Do you think his picks are to spite us when his buddy Donahoe got canned?
  10. The problem is we have been "rebuilding" with new players for a decade. How's that working.
  11. This organization has been inept for over a decade. Wilson was a fool for letting Polian go but we can't change the past. The bottum line is that we have a loyal but greedy and bad owner, bad coaching, and bad talent evaluation. Other than that were fine. Modrak has failed in getting us enough talent. He has not been able to duplicate his work in Philly and should be replaced. John Guy's free agent signings have been bad especially considering the ridiculous money spent on average players by a thrifty organization. He should be replaced. Jauron is a class act and brings credibility but it is more than evident he is a below average coach. The organization needs a major overhall. The problem is we have been stuck with the "in-house" promotions Ralph likes to employ. Clearly it has not worked. We need new faces in the organization. Like Obama said, this is CHANGE WE NEED. Bill Cowher is a pipedream. Ralph should focus on getting Marty Schottenheimer. Yea, his playoff record stinks but the guy fields a competitive team and consistently gets to the playoffs. He used to play for the Bills if I'm not mistaken. He should be the focus of getting this mess of an organization back to credibility.
  12. Let's also sign these guys: WR- Rae Carruth RB- Cecil Collins DL- Demetrius Underwood CB- Pacman Jones and anyone released from the Bengals.
  13. Because Trent didn't want to become more of a goat after the three early pics. Part of me says the guy cares and didn't want to hurt the team further. The other part of me says he needs to shrug it off and not change the way he plays. I kept thinking of Jim Kelly and Brett Farve. Whenever they threw pics, they shrugged it off immediately and started gunslinging again. You can't play scared as a QB.
  14. We have been rebuilding for a damn decade and I'm sick of it. Based on what I see these are the guys that are worth keeping for the next 2-4 years meaning they are capable NFL players. Impact players are underlined. The list is sadly short. QB- Edwards RB- Lynch, Jackson WR- Evans OL- Peters, Walker DL- Schoebel, Stroud LB- Poz, Mitchell CB- Greer, McGhee, maybe McKelvin S- Whitner ST- Lindell, Moorman, Parrish
  15. Dick Jauron=Dr. Spock minus vulcan ears
  16. Greggo was a pioneer. He was the first to say "we'll have to look at the tape and correct those mistakes" Now everyone uses that bull spit line. I even heard Trent Edwards use it last night!
  17. Can I make sure Mike Singletary is not added to the list? Any dude that pulls his pants down to demonstrate a point gets no props from me.
  18. I'll go with Sparano but let's remember that last year's 1-15 season was in large part because of injuries. The Dolphins lost Trent Green and Ronnie Brown, traded their best WR in Chris Chambers, and Ricky Williams was out suspended. Chad Pennington was a gift to them this year otherwise John Beck or Chad Henne would be starting and no way would they be 5-4. That said Tuna and Sparano have done good things especially when you consider they dumped their two best defensive players in Zach Thomas and Jason Taylor..
  19. Dude, I'm just glad you changed your freaky avatar. It reminded me of a scene from Blair Witch Project as I elaborated on before. By the way, who's that with you at Dolphin Stadium? Shula???
  20. "Dockery was considered one of the best run blocking guards in the NFL with WAshington" ????? You must have read the John Guy scouting report. He also said Larry Tripplett was a prototypical Cover 2 DT.
  21. Dawgg, you hit the nail on the head and that was the best post of the day. I only disagree on M. Lynch. Dude has absolutely no where to run. I actually feel sorry for the guy.
  22. Problem #1- Offensive line. Our center play is pathetic. Dusty Zeigler looks like the 2nd coming of Kent Hull compared to Fowler and Preston. The rest of the line is a bunch of Joe Plumbers. Problem #2- Defensive Scheme. The Cover 2 sucks. I'll take a 3-4 defense with a monster DT and 4 LB's that can stop the run, drop back into coverage or blitz the qb over having 4 defensive lineman that one dimensionally "fill gaps." Problem #3- Take your pick: No TE, no #2 WR, no depth on the DL, non-emotional soft coach Other than that were a pretty good team.
  23. Thurman Thomas was my favorite player of all-time. Tough as nails and no bull spit. The legend continues.
  24. And Whitner's teaching him english as a second language.
