  1. Don't go riling his goose feathers, small correction - Of course he did. (have a hand) He did not play because he got hurt.
  2. Looking back at how the RB's were oft injured past seasons I don't see it as worse than prior seasons. Injuries happen season after season.
  3. The Bills have (how did they phrase it) Historically the worst Defense in the NFL? Because that is what I heard. Some of the stats mentioned dated back 50 + years. http://espn.go.com/blog/new-orleans-saints/post/_/id/19320/saints-pass-defense-historically-bad-bonehead-plays-dont-help The New Orleans Saints defense is making NFL history this year. That's not a good thing. The Saints (4-5) are on pace to allow the highest opponents' passer rating of all-time (112.0), according to the Elias Sports Bureau. The current record of 110.9 was set by the 0-16 Detroit Lions in 2008. At least the Saints have some company -- the 2015 Lions are also on pace to break the record (111.1). They are also allowing a league-high 6.47 yards per play -- which Elias says would be the most since the 1961 Minnesota Vikings (6.51). Care to elaborate on - the Bills having the same stats in 2015 http://espn.go.com/nfl/statistics/team/_/stat/total/position/defense Total Def ranking - Buffalo 19, Saints 31 Passing D ranking - Buffalo 22, Saints 31 Rushing D ranking - Buffalo 14, Saints 30 Receiving D ranking - Buffalo 18, Saints 30 http://espn.go.com/nfl/statistics/team/_/stat/downs/position/defense Allowing 1st downs - Buffalo 23, Saints 32 I found one where the Saints are better - Sacks - Buffalo 29th w/16, Saints T 20th w/23
  4. Kiper doesn't know anything except when he praises a Buffalo Bill
  5. Because you fight to the end. From what I read there are not many prospects for QB in the draft. Why f-up just to get a lower seeding. the analytics say 22% chance, which is lower than Houston when they have a tougher schedule ahead of them. Win and the chances go up to 33, win again 45, win again 60, win again .... you get the picture.
  6. Again with this. Are you looking at the stats and comparative rations? # 5 in pass completion % with 250 total attempts in 9 total games. Please look at his stats when he throws over 30 times in a game. Those stats are significantly lower than when he only throws 15 times in a game. In the last 2 games he's completed < 56% of his passes. That is about 20 % lower than is average of 74.2 in his first 3 games. Other than the 2nd Miami game with 12 total passes his rate has been dropping steadily with a healthy Sammy, Shady and Clay. Starter Yes. Franchise QB. No, not at this time.
  7. It did to me as well. Taylor was only sacked once on 38 passes. Not too shabby.
  8. I tried to add them up and that single chart is confusing If I read it right they had 16 last season (total). So they are on pace with 1 per game on average. Counter to that 16 in 2014 (see bottom of post) We've discussed that the fumble #'s generally increase in December due to the cold weather. So fingers crossed Deflategate truly has a meaning We're #1 so far in 2015 http://www.sportingcharts.com/nfl/stats/team-fumbles-and-fumbles-lost/2015/ # 1 Buff Bills 22 fumbles - 7 Lost # 26 Patriots 11 fumbles - 5 Lost 2014 NFL season - # 31 Cheatriots 13 fumbles (missing 3 from PFR) - 4 Lost
  9. Beat you too it. (almost) so we have to wait 3 more seasons?
  10. Can you honestly say the O Line sucks when you have the #2 rushing attack in the NFL? - TT's sacks are high because he spends to much time scrambling / looking to run if he can. Why isn't Sammy being used? If TT is as accurate as the claims then throwing to a covered Sammy shouldn't be an issue with his hands. Why isn't Clay being used? See numerous post about him not scanning the entire field at times
  11. in 3 days time they will seek a replacement. that will make him real effective
  12. Excuses excuses. A Franchise QB can carry a lackluster defense. See Drew Brees, Peyton Manning (not 2015) and Andrew Luck types.
  13. * when he throws for less than 20 passes per game Link please... I want to see if the guy who is 5 of 6 w/wa rating of 150 is still 2nd best.
  14. My bad. I keep discounting the freebie the Cheaters gave the Bills that last game when they pulled Saint Thomas at the half
  15. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000592809/article/bill-belichick-mum-on-odd-gronk-injury-press-release mumble mumble see your PRD "We did what we did. If you have any other questions really you should take it up with our public relations department, which is very capably run by Stacey (James) and his staff."
  16. Patriots cut Chris Harper following muffed punt http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000591750/article/patriots-cut-chris-harper-following-muffed-punt We are reminded why they do it so infrequently. Muff a punt, ruin a perfect season - get canned.
  17. say whaaa? Who me? I have no eyedea to what you speak of. just look at those pretty brown orbs. After a loss -
  18. Isn't that THE problem?!!?! Johnny Kegger Didn't show up on time and occasionally with a huge hangover. Little Johnny Boy needs to grow up before he's given another chance. Well unless Jerry Jones trades for him.
  19. BRAVO John. Thank you for making that request. I agree 100%. I need to restate this - This is not a knock on TT. IMO franchise QB's need to EARN the tag after excelling AND winning for at last 2 seasons.
  20. IIRC JJ has has multiple 20 sack seasons, so it doesn't surprise me all that much
  21. Mathematically they would still be in the WC race but a Loss to Houston would be the nail in the coffin. stick a fork in them, start planning your winter vacation
