  1. Why did it matter that this was reported before it happened? Seems rather irrelevant to me.
  2. So, what you are telling me is that you are actually fluid in math and science, it's just that you chose to dismiss peer-reviewed, published research by a professor at the Univ. of Cincinnati because it didn't meet your standard for mathematical rigor? Got it. BTW, please vaccinate your kids.
  3. It's better to just say you didn't like math and science in school. "Momentum" is a term stolen from science to stand as a proxy for one team is outplaying the other or random events are breaking one team's way over the other. Teams have this fictitious momentum all the way up to the point they don't. Then a miraculous thing occurs! The other team now has it! Oh no! Houston had all of this fictitious momentum, up until the point they stopped playing better than the Bills. This fictitious quantity also led to Don Beebe stepping out of bounds and not getting called on a TD catch. And once the Bills captured the lead - do you know what happened? Houston turned around and tied the game. So much for that momentum. 👎👎👎 Momentum. Just an awful fictitious entity to defend.
  4. How does any of this contradict what I said? I trust Sal. You don't have to if you don't want to. There are probably 20 people that know how that went down inside OBD. It's not a state secret.
  5. Confirmation bias. Seeking evidence that supports your current belief.
  6. Sal has said explicitly (again today) that Whaley set up the board, had EJ as his top QB and Buddy made the pick.
  7. The phrase is I COULD NOT CARE LESS.
  8. I didn't read anything even remotely offensive in that thread.
  9. Mindboggingly inaccurate for someone who spends so much time here.
  10. So, you're not married then I take it? Your hysterical takes are just that. Hysterical.
  11. I think you are just being argumentative here. Clearly there was enough synergy for Whaley to make the hire. However, maybe once they worked together for many months - Sean thought the Bills could have a better person in that position and he has people in mind. Clearly, he has made an impression on Terry and earned his trust. Sean says they can be better. Terry believes him. The next hire will be someone who has worked with Sean before and will have a great working relationship that extends beyond an interview.
  12. For those of you complaining about a possible inverted structure between the coach in the GM, you haven't been listening to Terry. Terry likes flat organizations built upon consensus. Whomever gets hired as GM will have to get along very well with Sean and they both will be tasked to work together, not in separate silos. From what I understand Doug and Sean worked together, but perhaps Sean felt more comfortable with his own guy moving forward.
  13. 36 vs 38 receptions. Let's not over state this.
  14. You have to scratch your head that anyone who denies Doug's ability to pick up talent on the pro personnel side. That's just undeniable.
  15. He probably does. However, that influence may be waning. He was easy to listen to before because he was all the Pegula's had. If McDermott earns their trust, and it appears he has, then there's no reason to listen to Russ as much anymore.
  16. This certainly seems to be the direction we are heading now isn't it? McDermott's rise to power will surely be at Brandon's expense.
  17. People criticizing the Pegula's time as owners are justified. Clearly they made mistakes. They are literally paying for those mistakes now. However, it's clear they have seen something in McDermott that has set the course for both franchises. I don't see this as a random or floundering. I see an owner who finally has enough experience in owning professional teams finally set a course based on their first hand experiences and what they perceive to be an impressive individual like McDermott.
  18. A clean hose is very important to have
  19. Lacks mobility? If there's one thing I saw in those highlight videos is that he has plenty of mobility. I don't know how fast he is but the kid was making 10, 20, 30 yard runs without much difficulty.
  20. I don't see a weak arm that's for sure.
