Fortunately the rest of his speech made that moment insignificant. Although I would have loved it if he'd said "by the way, the Bills are never leaving Buffalo...you have my word." He meant 'amazed' but said 'appalled'. It happens - I say the wrong thing all the time. Wow, he said "appalled"....and meant to say something else. Who cares....move on. I thought his speech was well done and quite inspiring. Eventually. I kept waiting to hear what he was pissed about. But I have to agree with Steely. He probably was trying to say "enthralled", but it got caught up in his 90-year old mouth.
