Vick suspended for 4 games.

Strip clubs are legal in all 50 states

Agreed. I think Vick should be suspended for at least a year, but don't think going to strip clubs is any violation of NFL rules.

But I will say, if you are trying to put on the best possible face for the NFL and the public, you might want to avoid being seen in strip clubs, casinos, dog fighting pits , all night clubs known for drugs, etc. Even though going to a strip club isn't illegal, or against NFL rules, it may give pause to the old white men who run the NFL. To me, it suggests he isn't worried about the reinstatement and thinks/knows it is in the bag, or he is just too stupid/stubborn to radically alter his behavior. I wonder what his advisers have told him?

There hasn't been a ruling as of yet. I don't know where this story of "4 games" circulated. But what I did find interesting is that this piece of sh@t is supposedly trying to get back in the NFL & show he's a changed man, but he's hanging out at strip clubs.

This scum bag needs to be banned from the NFL for life. I'm so sick of hearing Vick should get a second chance and you can't take away his livelihood of playing football. He blew his chance at the NFL, if I were to lie to my employer about committing a felony then admitting to it, I would be fired in a heart beat and would have a hard time finding a job. It's a privilege to play in the NFL, not a right.

This allegation (bolded) was made by a site called "The Big Lead." They supposedly got confirmation from a disc jockey who works at the club. No one else has confirmed it as true. The story was picked up by some media outlets but has been denied by Vick and his lawyer. Vick was apparently not even in the city where this allegedly took place.

At this point the allegation appears untrue. This was known at least two days ago.

Could that be, a false allegation?

Look at poor Corey Mcintyre, falsely accused (and the bell cannot be unrung no matter what) of such an embarrasing episode.

I give Vick the benefit of the doubt on the strip club which would have been unwise (although not illegal). For the rest of his crimes, awful as they were, he has paid the price and Goodell, who is the only commissioner and thus the lone decider, has given him the league penalty.

Let's get Mcintyre out of the league though, the dirty flashing prick!!!

Sorry that I'm not so quick to give Vick the benefit of doubt (I gave him the benefit of doubt when he said he didn't have anything to do with dogfighting & people were taking advantage of his generosity.) Yes, strip clubs are legal but if the story is indeed true, that's not a place Vick should be if he's really trying to clean up his image.

From what I understand the story has been verified as false. But you are correct in that he should not be at strip clubs from an image perspective.

I'm familiar with The Big Lead, and with its creator, Jason McIntyre -- know some guys who used to work with him at the Bergen Record. Consider him the TMZ of sports: every now and then he nails a scoop, but he's also been known to get stuff wrong, too.

Strippers "Tropical" and "Tara" were quoted as having seen him there with "The Answer".
