All the other shows make stuff that NO ONE would actually make, except for a special occasion. Good Eats show you how to make things that a normal everyday joe can make. If you turn on the t.v. in our family room, that's my t.v., you'll see one of the following (in order:) - History Channel - ESPN - CNN - MSNBC - FOX NEWS (beleive it or not) - Food Network - Animal Planet I love watching people cook. It's something I wish I could do well but I think I'm finally past the Campbell Soup, toaste, various sandwiches, and fried eggs menu that I lived on as a bachelor. I have made many of his dishes and they are easy and delicious. You can get any recipe you ever see on Food TV at their websight. My kitchen is tiny and I put out some pretty incredible meals. You dont need 18 ovens and a huge kitchen- it just makes it easier. Hell give me one burner, a japanese Chef knife and a wok I will put out some off the hook meals. The heads don't match the body on any of the shots...unreasonable neck angles, no chin on pic 4, skin tones don't match, man-hands on pic 3...no way their real.
