One name not on that list is Cal's Craig Stevens, who LaDairis thinks is the real target. Stevens is healthy, smart, and high character, not to mention the best blocking TE in the Draft and an adequate receiver with excellent speed. I think he's the best receiving TE in this draft class, though his blocking is going to need serious work. We have a bunch of good blockers/average receivers. We need the opposite. I say the TE depends on the round. Bennett, Fred Davis, or John Carlson While we might have a blocking TE.....if we are going to draft one that high he needs to be a complete player.....so that we dont tip off defenses what we are going to do by switching from receiving TE to blocking TE. Carlson also has less "climate change" risk. Players from schools with no snow - remember Roscoe Parrish's first response to snow? I have been high on Keller since watching him play in person last year, and I wasn't that high on Davis until some buddies showed me some highlights. Both guys can play.
