BillsWatch
If they were smart they would make the draft last a week, one round a day. They would still get the first day hype, have a second day hype as well and it would give more time for negotiations, leaks, etc the entire week. Do you realize how long that would drag on for? The draft is that way it is for a reason......it's on a weekend and most people aren't working. ans4e64
Its on ESPN at 3pm, they have been advertising their coverage like crazy. I'm glad the time is down to 10 mins, but wish they would have started at the same time as usual instead of 3pm.

Tim Anderson's Lunch Pail
I think it's the NFL network and some other random cable channel. Is Vs. a channel? That rings a bell. This has got to be a joke. I hope
Blue Chipper
For some reeason I thought that the 1st round this year was moved to saturday evening. I thought they talked about 7pm so they could have prime time coverage. I guess I was mistaken.

UticaBill
They start the draft at 3pm to allow workers to get home and they shortened the rounds so that it should not last any longer than it used to and they will hopefully end it (or switch to ESPN2) at 8ish with the draft not going on past 9pm EDT. Last year that happened. If by so reason day 1 goes past 8 pm they will swtitch from ESPN to ESPN 2. This happened last year if you remember...........and yes I watched the entire draft, sort of. Not so much day 2 unless the Bills picked!
NFLBighits
I'm glad to cause I work a 2nd job and wont be home till at least 6pm but the 2nd ROUND IS ONLY 7 MINUTES per PICK!!!
2bdshouter
The pick could be later than 4:30 to 5:00. What about a trade down scenerio? If that happens it could be between 6:00 and 7:00. I'd like to see 3 picks from before 9:30 myself.

BobbyC81
It's probably so us West Coasters don't have to get up so early to watch and can sit back and have a beer. LOL!! I know there may be some who can't relate but I'm not one to pop one open at 8 or 9 AM.
3cheesenacho
Its definitely on ESPN, for sure I personally am not happy with them shortening time between picks. Not only will it reduce trades, but I think it will force teams to make rash decisions... I know they want to reduce the time for spectators, but the fact of the matter is: there is a lot at stake, in terms of both money and performance. I think if the GM's need an extra five minutes to be sure of what they're doing, then they should get it

All of the analysis and draft boards should be done by draft day.
