Here's the guys I can't/couldn't stand.

1. Cris Collingsworth - I don't think I've ever heard anything nice come out of his mouth about the Buffalo Bills. I don't think I've ever seen someone so into themselves either.

2. Deion Sanders - I think he needs to go back to middle school and learn how to properly speak the english language.

3. Michael Irvin - Why does this guy YELL ALL THE TIME? He spends more time goofing off with everyone else than actually talking football.

4. John Madden - He reminds me of someone's senile grandfather. Just like my cat I had when I was a little kid, he got old and it was time to put the poor guy to sleep. I think it's time for John to do the same and get out of football. The only people his analysis ihelps with understanding the game is foreigners & kids in 1st grade.

A co-worker of mine whole heartily agrees with you. He has the NFL Network and said that BG is terrible....even worse than Joe Theismann....

I gotta go with Theismann...He's terrible,, IMHO.

"Hole in the Earth" is a great song. I liked a few of the others (though "Pink Cellphone" brought the whole record to a screeching halt).

Totally agree about #1-3. Collinsworth needs to just shut the hell up. I remember during the summer when NBC was running promos for their Sunday Night Football and his big line was "This is going to be the greatest NFL season ever," which he apparently based on absolutely nothing (because how the hell would you know that in July??).

Deion Sanders seems to think being clever and wearing an orange suit are the same thing.

Listening to Irvin talk makes me think he never stopped taking drugs. And what was he doing at the TO press conference a couple months back?

I like Madden alright. He's a goofy old dude and I really don't care if he never says anything I need to hear.

1. Gumbel - absolutely horrible as a play-by-play guy, and his arrogance and smugness comes out in his voice

2. Michael Irvin - stupid hurricane crack-head (altho thats kind of redundant)

3. The worst tho, is STEPHEN A. SMITH! HE NEVER HAS ANYTHING TO SAY THAT REQUIRED ANY ORIGINAL OR CRITICAL THOUGHT. BUT HE SHOUTS ALL THE TIME WHICH APPARENTLY MAKES HIM A GOOD ANNOUNCER. FO SHIZZLE, QUITE FRANKLY!

Pregame: Deion, Irvin, Shannon Sharpe -- all loudmouths whom I hated on the field and are eminently more hateable on a TV set. Boomer Esiason is also a total douche and Marino, it goes without saying. Boy, I can't wait till we have to hear Tom Brady on these shows. :)

In game: Gus Johnson, Kenny Albert (sounds drunk and completely clueless), Rich Gannon (I'm not sure how every guy who played QB becomes an instant expert), and just about every D-team guy they have show up for the Bills games. When Simms is talking strictly about the game he is just OK. When he is going through his ball-washing of the usual suspects he is unbearable.

This all makes the near-senile Criqui appear quite favorable.

I am enjoying: Marshall Faulk, Solomon Wilcots, Sterling Sharpe, Jaws and Ron Pitts to an extent.

I used to like Costas more but I think he's kind of coasting on reputation by this point.

Edit: changed second "shannon" to sterling so it makes sense. duhhhh.

It's a tie between Sylvester Dierdorf and Paul McGuire.

I can't stand Dierdorf because it seems like every time he covers a Bills game, we're getting our asses handed to us, and he just never stops with the comments like "And right now the Bills can get absolutely nothing going and clearly are being outplayed and outcoached worse than any team has ever been beaten before in the National Football League."

I can't stand McGuire because what he sees and what actually happens are two totally different things. "Let me tell ya, on that end around you can see he was untouched. UNTOUCHED! Now watch on this replay, he turns the corner and you can see no one gets a hand on him...well, okay, there are two guys that just hit him, but you wanna talk about soft hands? He has the softest hands ever!"

Plus...HDTV is not kind to McGuire. He's better in a lower resolution.
