Bills observers say that WR Eric Moulds is not getting the separation he once got from defenders and that he has clearly lost a step. That forces him to make most of his catches in traffic.

Was he supposed to be on the rise after 10 years of playing the most brutal sport around???

A 10-year vet on the decline is not breaking news. The productivity is still there.

i think the point is that "bills observers" equates with people who work in the organization. the way to read it is that they're laying the groundwork for either a request for a drastic cut in pay or a cut. the bills have long done this sort of thing. witness donohoe/modrak's feeding of anonymous complaints to len pasquarelli over the years (providing the stats for jay riemersma's drops in 2002 is one obvious example). prior to donohoe's arrival, butler was very tight with the now deceased joel buchsbaum of pfw.

"Bills observers"? Who are they referring to, us? Have they been reading one of these posts lately and making a story out of it?

Since no one has been able to get him the ball in years when he HAS been wide open--he probably has just said screw it--Im wasting my time.Todd Collins---Flutie(couldnt go long)--RJ----waited back there forever til he got sacked,Bledsoe--finally in his first year and a half--then the O-line wasnt good enough to keep wooden indian on his feet.He had a broken down Kelly throwing to him at the end of his career-when he was moving around like the tin man.

Moulds had very bad timing in his career with his QBs-its amazing he did and does so well. Give him a very good QB with a very good line and he'd have 850 catches by now.--True--he has slowed down a touch---but name me another 32 year old who hasnt.

They're just now figuring that one out??? He hasn't been the same since playing with injury in 2003.

Seems to me Eric's life would be a lot easier if LE and the slot receivers were getting open more often...Moulds still appears to be the first option on most passing plays.

i think you're missing the point. see my post above about people in the organization preparing the exit doors for moulds.

If Moulds doesn't take a big pay cut he will be gone. I could see Donahoe bringing in TO to replace him and sell tickets

Freester, you are probably right about the pay cut but completely out to lunch on TO. Yet another one of your whacked-out predictions.

In any event, if Moulds does leave, I expect him to pick a playoff-caliber team with a good QB as his destination and to have a huge year.

Donahoe must go.

Pay cut to play in Indy maybe? Aren't they going to lose Reggie Wayne?

I'd like that swap if we ended up with Wayne. They get older, dynamic duo, we get younger, quicker. I'm sure Eric could make some incentives there. I think more likely if we lose him, he ends up in Philly though.
