stlbills13 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) QB - We are set here although I would like draft a developmental backup basically just because it's probably cheaper. But if Josh wants one of his boys as a backup that's fine RB - I would look to trade Ray Davis if we could get anything of value but he's a fine piece to have for sure. I like the room WR - Need just so much help here. We have to get a true #1. Almost at all costs. In an ideal world I think you'd add another WR too but likely won't be possible TE - Knox either has to go or needs to take a huge paycut. In addition with Kincaid's inability to stay healthy, I may look at this position in the draft again OL - Very interesting spot with multiple free agents and Torrence a FA the year after this and Dawkins on the decline and not sure he's mentally into it. This is the one position I am confident can be coached up though with Kromer DL - I mean I don't know. It better be good considering the resources put into it but probably need a big splash here too LB - All 5 LB's on the current roster could be replaced/upgraded in my opinion. They won't be but man it's not good. What happened to McD being able to coach up and develop LB's? CB - Fine here especially if Hairston can be the #1 guy. Benford as a #2 would be very good. Do need a NCB probably S - Need someone to go with Bishop. Either Hancock here or Hancock at NCB There are holes. Lots of them. But with Josh Allen you have a chance so it's doable. BearNorth Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Last year we had this Lewis Cine who we stashed on the practice squad and were having him bulk up to be the hybrid LB, but he got signed off the practice squad. I see the eagles waived him and apparently can't stay healthy. Quote
Nitro Posted 52 minutes ago Posted 52 minutes ago Each off season about 20 to 25 players depart. That is the nature of the league. Forecasting who they will keep vs let go is a game you play after you are out of the play offs. Focus on glaring needs first and foremost then look at the secondary level. The youth movement on the defense started already. I hope and expect this draft they will get some offensive weapons. Quote
HappyDays Posted 17 minutes ago Posted 17 minutes ago I don't think the roster is that far off. We need a WR1 first and foremost, followed by a WR2. Depending on who our coach is we might be okay with Palmer as our WR2 along with a draft pick. We need to replace Bosa and DQ, and even with that I might be okay just bringing Bosa back which replaces his $12M void year cap hit. Torrence's replacement might already exist on the roster in Anderson or Grable. McGovern I would extend if possible, I don't think he'll be too expensive after somewhat of an average year. Other needs on the roster are just cosmetic fixes, we're not overhauling any other position groups besides WR. Just need the right coaching staff to put it all together and we're in business. Quote
