I can’t name any who did from the 2000’s onward. Big Ben I guess. Edited 1 hour ago by SirAndrew Quote

34-78-83 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago If you don’t already know that Josh ain’t going anywhere, you just haven’t been watching him on and of the field closely enough. Maybe in his twilight grey beard year(s) or something… 1 Quote
Real McClappy Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago 3 hours ago, Kelly to Allen said: Elway , Favre and Staubach all played until their late 30s and still were great. They all took way more punishment. It's not close. Elway at age 38 had one of his best years Favre at age 40 had probably his best year, and that was after multiple shoulder surgeries on his throwing arm Not saying Allens athletic ability won't diminish, but he'll still be great around age 37,38 possibly til 39 or 40. His QB cycle won't be different from any of the guys I listed All valid and fair points. I guess my reply was more around the main thread title will Allen stick around for another rebuild. I personally say yes as I think he likes it here. Also, we have him nailed down regardless how he feels for 8 more yrs. Trust me I hope he plays until 45. I can just see his style of game play lasting another 8 yrs is all. Quote
